LD25 — You are the Villain

Dracula's Treasure by 01010111 2012-12-24T01:57:00

Very nice! Controls are a bit slippery, but overall I really like it. :)

Missile Rider by rylgh 2012-12-24T02:13:00

Love the retro ambiance, and the idea is pretty cool. Controls were a bit touchy, but with some tweaking this might be really fun. :)

MARTYR by ahmed.majd 2012-12-24T02:10:00

Great work!

Becoming by bitbof 2012-12-24T01:48:00

Gorgeous static backgrounds, a really nice vibe. There's a potential for something cool here, but as it is, it's not a terribly fun game. (And, as the others have said, it doesn't follow the theme of the contest.)

LD29 — Beneath the Surface

Hot Diggity by DragonXVI 2014-04-30T03:37:00

Frickin' EXCELLENT. Commercial quality -- sell this mutha'. ;D

Hot Diggity by DragonXVI 2014-04-30T05:00:00

This is by far my favorite entry so far. I'll go away for a bit and I keep coming back and playing it. :)

Metal Beneath Skin by CMaster 2014-04-28T23:39:00

Clicking "Start Game" on the web version, but nothing happens.

"Instructions" and "Visit our website" buttons work, however.

The Hit (Print and Play) by James Wood 2014-04-28T23:40:00

"This folder is empty.", here too.

Whack-A-Burster by Fortyseven 2014-04-29T01:46:00

Thanks, guys! :D But yes, lots of bugs. Much glitching. I plan to fix up most of that and polish it up in the coming days.

Whack-A-Burster by Fortyseven 2014-07-16T22:53:00

I went back and revised the hell out of the game over the last couple weeks; fixed lots of bugs and polished things up. Learned a lot. :) -> http://fortyseven.itch.io/whack-a-burster

Whack-A-Burster by Fortyseven 2014-12-18T05:11:00

Came back to link to the final version on GameJolt: http://gamejolt.com/games/arcade/whack-a-burster/30298/

It's still barely a game, but I'm pretty proud of how it turned out. :)

Whack-A-Burster by Fortyseven 2014-12-18T05:12:00

And I'm just realizing that it's probably the same build. I should have looked first. [Talks to an empty room.]

Fish Photographer Simulator by Jacksendary 2014-04-29T01:20:00

Sweet idea! The fish need to scatter more when the camera is snapped. It's possible to pool large amounts of fish on screen to repeated high-scoring snaps: http://i.imgur.com/KMjJjU8.jpg ;D

In the Lair of a Basilisk by Korwegian 2014-04-29T00:53:00

That thing creeped me out massively! ;)

NanoDog by mechabit 2014-04-29T02:45:00

NICE! :D Love making the pup moonwalk, too. ;D

No Eyes Willy by blockbot 2014-04-29T02:38:00

Looks terrific. :)

The Mole Hole by Sylvain Dubrofsky 2014-04-29T02:28:00

Very interesting concept. :)

WHAT IS IN THE SWAMP? (IT'S MONSTERS) by tacs 2014-04-29T01:41:00

Great atmosphere!

Box Simulator by terraco 2014-04-29T02:42:00

Well, I wasn't planning on sleeping ever again anyway. ;)

The Stars, Like Dust by davedx 2014-04-29T17:10:00

My fan went nuts, too. Damn. :)

Super Water RPG by matheod 2014-04-28T23:37:00

This would have been a seismic shift in gaming...if only we could see it. Alas. ;)

LD30 — Connected Worlds

I Must See You by Split82 2014-08-26T03:50:00

Brilliant game! Love the idea.

RED Thread by NickZangus 2014-08-26T17:24:00

Terrific idea, and looks great! If the controls for platforming were a bit more forgiving, this would easily be among the top ten here.

InfiLoop by komjaur 2014-08-26T03:38:00

Found the ending! ;) Damned fine replica of Anitchamber. Great work. :D

Galaxy Lanes by Fortyseven 2014-08-26T23:01:00

Very grateful for the kind words and feedback -- still going to keep working on it when I can. Wish I was able to polish the gameplay a bit more, but I spent too much time on graphics, and not enough on the logic. ;)

Computer, Open That Door! by pLaw 2014-08-26T20:27:00

Guessing this is incomplete (the last two systems, as others mentioned). But I like the idea!

LD31 — Entire Game on One Screen

Cell 09 by 01010111 2014-12-10T07:23:00

Love the concept! Feels good, too. Great job!

Super Snow Girl by Christina Antoinette Neofotistou 2014-12-10T16:32:00

Adore the art style. Very Pilgrimy. ;) Love to see this turn into something more!

Press Simulator 1964 by 2HitAdam 2014-12-28T09:25:00

There's a kernel of a GREAT game idea here. Not allowing backspace makes for some hilarious improv. I went through quite a few headlines because of that, alone. If you can tweak the gameplay a bit, this could be amazing. Just need to slow down the deadline a bit (early on, at least) and create an algorithm to score based on what was written. Make it have to be at least a paragraph... not be jibberish... maybe enforce referencing the topic in some way.

I'm tempted to work on a version of this, now. :D Neat idea!

SCREEN_BOMBER by Xaychru 2014-12-10T07:52:00

Sweet idea! :D

Mossnaso by Mase 2014-12-10T06:47:00

Love the 80's Macintosh-style 1-bit dithering. Looks great. :)

by gre 2014-12-09T21:23:00

Haha, hilarious. :) Good job!

Swords and Hammers by nicotuason 2014-12-10T08:03:00

Love the polish. It's quite fun, too! Great work. :)

MicroMayhem by tinykidtoo 2014-12-09T00:49:00

Love the idea! Looks great, too.

Might want to remove the embed: it doesn't work right with anything but a non-centered, blank page with just the Unity embed on it.

SCREEN HEAD by NickZangus 2014-12-09T05:42:00

Heheheh, nice. Some clipping and camera issues, but love how it feels, otherwise. Great work!

Tiny Square, Big Tower by EvilObjective 2014-12-09T07:12:00

Loved the "hard way" gag. Didn't expect to enjoy this one as much as I did. Great work! :D

Stop Moving? by Tinard 2014-12-10T07:41:00

Does not capture the mouse cursor, so I had to constantly click off the page, and then back into the window for mouselook to work at all.

SnoZonE by Fortyseven 2014-12-09T01:39:00

pon: It's literally at max panning on both sides; I'll tweak it so it's about 50% closer to center and see how that feels.

SnoZonE by Fortyseven 2014-12-09T01:55:00

rain: Good call; originally this was meant to be a twin-stick tank game like the original arcade game, but after finding that wasn't quite a fun, I remapped the controls...and forgot to add WASD. I'll fix that later tonight. *adds to his list*

SnoZonE by Fortyseven 2014-12-09T05:59:00

@andrewk: It's still working as a two-stick tank under the hood; it feels REALLY NICE with the sticks on a 360 pad, so I'll probably put out a Windows version in a day or two to take advantage of that. (Shame the web player can't access the gamepad. Sigh.)

SnoZonE by Fortyseven 2014-12-09T06:00:00

Any new versions, I'll link here and on the GameJolt page, if anyone is interested. Just click 'follow' on there for updates.

SnoZonE by Fortyseven 2014-12-09T07:44:00

@Kim: I actually just made myself jump from hearing one spawn immediately to my left. As the dev and the guy that did the frickin' voice, it's such a weird experience. :)

SnoZonE by Fortyseven 2014-12-09T09:31:00

@Asix: Aye, it's currently just a quick arcade thing -- but at some point I'll be adding a smidge more depth to the gameplay. The snowmen already have a variable bit of speed when they spawn, but it's not that big of a difference, in practice. Still have to tweak it around a bit.

SnoZonE by Fortyseven 2014-12-09T11:25:00

Uploaded an update to GameJolt! (The itch.io link remains the original LD31 Jam version, as noted.)

Changes for 1.01:
- ADDED: Additional web controls: WASD for movement; LMB fires.
- ADDED: Sound when firing snowballs.
- ADDED: Sound when snowballs impact.
- FIXED: Snowmen no longer float above the ground.
- FIXED: Stereo panning for tank treads adjusted.
- OTHER: Misc minor optimizations (removal of unused debug code, etc.)

SnoZonE by Fortyseven 2014-12-30T18:19:00

Thanks for voting, guys! I put up a post-Jam version over on GameJolt, complete with a leaderboard, slightly harder enemies, an overhead radar, and more!

H.T.P by rottenmage 2014-12-10T06:36:00

Yes.. yes, that's all I have. :( (Great work! Love games that reward minor experimentation like this.)

Achievement Snow by mattpattie 2014-12-09T00:53:00

Sweet. :)

Dread Keep by Frump 2014-12-09T21:59:00

Love the art. But it all runs a bit too fast over here. Not sure if that's just the browser running it faster than other peoples machines, or what, but it had sharp, quick, hard to control movement for me.

Jamception by Crocanti de Pollo 2014-12-09T05:24:00

Oh god, this is hilarious. Bravo. :)

Tacit by tanjent 2014-12-10T06:40:00

Site is down. ;(

Augmented Collector by ghostonline 2014-12-09T01:30:00

At first, I frowned, but then I realized what was going on and, hey, I gotta give it to you: it's a clever idea. :) The mouselook could use some work, though.

Escape Character by Zi 2014-12-09T06:40:00

Easily one of my favorites out of the 40+ I've judged this evening. I'd love to see this expanded out into a full game. The polish already on display is superb. :)

The Fourth Wall by DavidErosa 2014-12-09T01:14:00

Nice buns. ;D

A Place in Space by lokijki 2014-12-09T07:28:00

Sweet! :D

Cool The Cats! by aeveis 2014-12-10T07:11:00

Great fun! Loved the artwork, too. :)

LD32 — An Unconventional Weapon

Bond by Cheshyr 2015-04-21T22:03:00

Love the idea! I wasn't sure what was going on at first, but I figured it out. :D My stupid browser was causing slight pauses here and there, making it hard to progress when I got to the second part, but that's no fault of the game. :F

Hue Jedde by Serena 2015-04-21T03:03:00

It probably says a lot about me that I didn't flinch or think it was unusual when the head popped off. *shrug* :) Great work!
