Really well done on the mix of unity and flash and the underwater scene is spectacular but it felt a bit unstable on my laptop.

Really well done on the mix of unity and flash and the underwater scene is spectacular but it felt a bit unstable on my laptop.
Really fun game, wish there were a way to reduce your pop cap after you've built some beds, had everything ticking away nicely but then too many people arrived and ate all my food. You should assign those lazy survivors to going out to grab crates for a change >_>
Wow, it's a short experience but you packed a lot in there. Love the aesthetic and the atmosphere. Audio design was spot on as well.
Beautiful. The character is so cute. The level design is amazing. All round top notch.
Brilliant game in such a short time. Probably needs more mechanics for a longer game though.
Best game in LD!
Well done on getting top rank for fun
so good :)
Almost impossible to get the 2nd laser and the city animation takes too long, maybe let you skip to the score with a button. Could be expanded with more weapons and traps if you wanted to keep working on it.
Interesting idea, could do with more animations, music etc.
Excellent game
I found the energy build up really slow. Would have been cool to be able to punch back the balls if you timed it correctly. Also would have been better to ave control over the transformation and have certain obstacles that only girl or monster form could get past like a long jump or a stone wall etc.
Could do with proof reading, difficult in a jam but would have made a text heavy game easier to play though. Nice artwork.
Nice wave effect. Bit hard to see what's going on with the fish though. Could use a jump or dash button.
Really nice game, I felt like just enjoying the sun and not digging at all but then the bombs came anyway :(
Love the dog animations.
Wow, very pretty
Looks really interesting but sadly not enough friends and controllers.
good stuff
Nice little game. Short and sweet. The door locking mechanic is interesting except it didn't seem to achieve anything, the floating heads just float through them. The achingly slow elevator while battling was quite effective in building tension and frustration :)
Love the vector style
Not sure what all the things do, seems like only the eyes have any direct influence on energy levels deeper down? What do the plant and fish do?
Very polished, better than most diving/swimming flash games and in less time!
Not a bad puzzle game
Hilarious!
"to be continued..." NOOOOOOOO
The intro was awesome, really invoked the old 8bit era. Didn't think the in-game graphics matched the style though. I managed to get to the multi-eyed monster but then a bug made me stop moving and I just watched my guy get killed.
Funny game, nice art style, not sure what the goal was though
Interesting puzzle game. Would be good to see a more polished version on mobile devices.
Love the art style and the humor. If the game were more puzzly I'd want to be able to see all of the map so I can make sure I'm not blocking the path to the exit. As it is it's short and sweet.
Nice artwork
Really good for a solo entry. I can see a lot of work was packed into it.
Fun game, you managed to get a lot in in 48 hours. Well done.
Great atmosphere. But like others have said add some visual feedback, don't want to alienate people who are hard of hearing or tone deaf.
Actually really fun, can see this expanding into a full game with more levels and block types
very well done
nice artwork
I actually like the use of the theme and the artwork is not bad. Well done all round.
Nice graphics
Fun little game. Maybe make the vertical exploration better with upgrades to the hull to withstand higher pressures. Maybe add rival subs or dangerous sharks as well.
Nice graphics, don't think I've yet to whack an alien
Made a 71 tonne pumpkin lol How did they manage to get a badge on it? Well done on the top ranking.
Hey guys, we sat next to you in Manchester :)
Great game, can't praise it enough.
I thought the controls were fine. You're flying a ship, it's not meant to spin around like a solider FPS
nice artwork
One day AI will put us game designers out of a job but luckily not today, still very incoherent. It's playable though.
good job getting a multiplayer game into a jam
Brillant game
Dark souls style traps and messages would have made this game
Nice graphics. The physics was a bit buggy and there doesn't seem like much to do, you can't resurface for air or anything. Also is the half pink sub icon on the top right meant to be health? Sort of looks like it but doesn't move. Maybe add an upgrade system to spend your loot.
amazing multiplayer twist on snake/tron, would play on console with more polish and power ups/ modes
Fun mechanics, clean graphics, could probably do with maybe a dash key to get out of trouble or to ram a bug. Maybe allow the player to stock up on meds so you don't need to keep going back to find extra meds. Not bad for a first entry.
Fun game, love the art, well done
Brilliant game, only thing I'll say is it'd be good to see how much the vulture managed to recover instead of "died in vain". Love the AI on the bots
Just wanted to say again how great this game is, keep coming back to it to waste some precious time. Perhaps in a sequel you can design and build your own bots and unlock secrets using the alien artifacts.
Really fun game, takes a bit of getting used to, will definitely try to beat it later. I found the resource management to be a bit harsh but maybe I'm just crap at it.
Flocking good game. Bit hard to stop a horde from running off the wrong side of the map, maybe add a high force button that can influence the horde more easily on a cool down.
Good job for 48 hours. I like the leaf shadows. Would have been better with a sneaking/pouncing mechanic, maybe a stamina bar for sprinting.
I like the risk reward of running for a better time and walking to avoid drops but yeah, a bit slippery
Good effort getting something in, a lot of people don't even get that far so don't beat yourself up too much. Tricky levels and decent layout. Nice clean graphics, the black band on the guy reminds me of a thief lol
Great humour. I felt like it would be better if I could dive down for a higher jump. Would also be cooler if all the missiles fired at the same time when you released the mouse. Also when I fire a missile I kinda want it to hit the target, occasionally the missiles will hit the ground and do nothing. That would be good if there was a way to avoid hitting the ground, but as it is there's not much you can do.
fun game, low poly models remind me of starfox
The all caps text makes for difficult reading. Not sure how the theme fits in. Nice mammoths though.
Nice artwork, but like previous commenters, lacking in any challenge. Maybe add a timer or quota to meet in the corner or other hazard.
cute seal pup!
brilliant
When I click the mouse button the character stops moving.
Change the web link to say download or host it somewhere you can play it in a browser. Maybe Kongregate.
Nice art style, game is a bit fiddly to play, good use of the theme, I like how you play a rat.
Awesome graphics
WOW, so good. Totally missed it during voting but I'll give it 10/10 post jam. Would buy full version.
interesting puzzle game
Hah, very topical, well done
Nice!
Awesome effort, love everything about it!
It looked like it was going to be like candy box with more mechanics gradually being added but doesn't really go anywhere. It's interesting how you can decide to live your life, maybe spend all your time making money but I wanted to see what else can be unlocked and died fairly quickly.
I like the 3D graphics and the humor. Fun mechanics.
Overall pretty good, interesting colour mechanic but it's not really clear what's going on. Some more visual feedback on colour/damage or even when an attack has occurred would be useful. I tried rushing to the end but gave up. Love the jellies :)
lovely graphics and fun to play
lovely graphics
Funny game. Love the art style, I like how the icon changes in the corner.
Hah, the camera zoom out is hilarious. Is the 2nd guy Walter White from Breaking Bad? I never knew we had so many bones in our chins. Thumbs up for humor.
Fun game, love the music
Brilliant! Never seen a game where you play a mushroom.
fun little game
Hey, web admins! Integrate this map into the main ludum dare site! I can't believe this really useful feature isn't already integrated into the competition!
Revealing the map is a nice incentive to try out games from different perspectives as well, more worldviews makes for more rounded individuals/game devs. Top notch.
I like the firing weight and the movement of the ship but placing bridges does nothing. I like the idea of having to land butt first. Maybe also add defences like turrets on your captured planets to fight off UFOs?
Nice concept but the systems are pretty opaque. Had to read the instructions a couple times to get it. Would be good to have an estimated influence for each trade option (with the current trade routes) to inform you of your choices better. Maybe a break down of the points system when you mouse over a planet.
yay, another game about poo lol
Nice little game, enjoyed it and cute artwork.
Lovely aesthetics, the inspirations are very clear. Love the use of theme and multiplayer elements.
nice graphics, very cartoon network
Lovely audio and graphics. Bit annoying that eating your precious cargo gives so little energy. I spent most of my time near those magic light houses to save on energy. Well done.
mouse sensitivity is way too high but otherwise a beautiful exploration game, love the art style and level design. I fell into a tomb and got stuck lol
Wow, that took forever to load, stuck with it cos the concept was really interesting. It was worth the wait!
The theme is spot on, the telephone connected the world when it was invented.
I would have liked to use the number pad on my keyboard to dial and not loving the skybox but otherwise a brilliant game. Played it all the way till the end but I did use some of the hints ;)
Nice colour, good concept.
Fun game but could have done with smoother animations. Maybe some powerups that mess up your opponent's maze or something?
Got some interesting concepts here, definitely needs more mechanics to make it more engaging. The sucking mechanic was kinda underwhelming, maybe if you sucked up a bunch at a time and maybe if there were multiple portals you could spit them back out at to change the direction of attack on the other village. I get that the portal is for the connection theme but it would probably have been more fun to throw the minions across the gap lol
Love the pixel dog suit. As mentioned above could have done with a radar or sun indicator. Shame there's no ending. Good stuff.
awesome game, took me a while but I finally beat 7 planets after the space lanes maxed out and even though one faction had all but 1 planet I could keep the last faction going long enough for me to level up my base and flip back all the planets by funding terrorism.
woop beat 11 planets with the same tactic, max out weapons production and money first and concentrate on the close planets with fewer links. http://postimg.org/image/lwn4cpwij/
Cool game, very creepy and atmospheric. Is there a way to prevent madness? Just rush for the enemy base?
love the pixel art and the parallax background but the gameplay is a bit repetitive and the magic/explosions felt unfair and were too loud when it triggered on groups of soldiers. Maybe the connection to the theme would have been stronger if the enemies were coming out of portals instead of another castle. good compo entry
Love the artwork
really interesting concept, what if a new player totally messes up a floor and wastes all the high level goods? really complex game for 48 hours and with multiplayer too! (well you say it's multiplayer but who really knows if the input items are random or not lol)
cool theme
Nice artwork.
Still waiting on the sequel to the robo girl typing game though ;)
thems some creep clown face doors. love the theme and pixel art
Nice game, shame you can't split your force
OMG the computer virus makes the game so much harder/impossible. Some funny text though
I guess Moon and Silent Running as influences and naturally space odyssey. Perfect animation and humour and mood.
Nice mechanics and artwork
nice art style and UI design
I only managed to get to the first planet because the aliens kept shooting me while I was docked and I couldn't do anything about them. Otherwise pretty cool game :)
Brilliant game! I played a couple rounds but only managed to get to the end once. Hope you can expand on it post jam.
some good writing there, could have done with some more options.
cool game
nice hitch hikers reference :)
wow amazingly polished for a jam game
the "save souls by shooting them" is a bit of a stretch to fit the theme but loads of fun all the same
cool game, would be cool if your bullets could travel between worlds and have different properties in each e.g. bullets arch but spells don't. also would have been cool if the dimensions moved around.
This game is amazing, please finish it and put it on mobile. Not loving the time limit though, seems a bit pointless.
nice audio and atmosphere. I like how your shadows are turn based but the enemy is real time. my best score was 11 and I can see a point where the board would be saturated unless you hung around the edges and always moved clockwise.
Are there only 2 screens? It's a bit repetitive but there's a nice weight to your attacks. Nice artwork.
love the low poly look and phasing mechanic. creepy and cute at the same time!
cool game, would love to see a more fleshed out version
Awesome graphics but like the others was unable to make the signals work. Dragging rocks was also really tedious and rocks would vanish if I dragged them near the rover which was particularly annoying when doing the top right spots.
It's cool how you made a multiplayer game in a jam but it lacks polish (naturally give the time limit). Maybe add a real time render texture to the portal and give it a wobbly effect, also maybe some reason to go there like a capture the flag game. Also tanks should be less slidey I feel. The camera goes through scenery which obscures your view. Other than that very impressive.
Yeah I don't know what's going on, lot of clicking randomly and trying links, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, no indication as to why. The camera is also pretty annoying, it zooms in on the thing I clicked but now I have to slowly rotate the camera to be able to make links and the camera then snaps back to the rotation where I can't see anything.
Not sure atoms counts as worlds either.
It's good that a jam game got voice overs in it though, don't see that very often.
cool game, reminds me of mini metro
perhaps add pirates in your full version which you can either pay off or hunt down
not much going on, maybe if you added power ups and sound effects it would be better, also don't think the high score screen works. nice pixel art and animations though
fun mechanics and simple to understand, would make a great tablet game. Disconnecting is pretty pointless as making a new connection breaks old ones anyway unless there were friendly units later on which you had to let through. For any game with lines for connections I always prefer swiping across them to disconnect cos it feels like cutting a rope, especially on a touch screen.
Hey, you got an RPS article!
Cool game bro
Really fun game, after the first play through I knew which planets to focus on and then got to wave 100 but the screen was so full of fighters the enemies were stuck off screen lol.
good effort for your first jam, well done getting something playable entered. nice hand drawn look.
Play Canvas! Cool! How is it to use? I met the CEO/developer once at an expo and it looked good. The game itself was a bit fiddly, walking around was like driving a hover craft and jumping makes you go really fast. Good job for 48 hours
nice production values for such a short time
not sure what the link is to the theme, funny burger drummer though
nice and short puzzle game, awesome models and animations. that's a pretty creepy dream-like setting, not sure if it's meant to be soothing or unnerving, maybe the girl is dead and moving around in limbo? perhaps the orbs are lost souls? excellent stuff for 48 hours.
I became the curmudgeonly old man lol
Visually excellent, could have done with showing your current colour combo and maybe a larger effect for a higher scoring combo to reward the player and to encourage them to keep the combo going. good stuff
I understand that there's a hidden message but I don't really get it. Maybe if there were more interactions and plot then I would have stuck with it longer.
Nice take on the theme and the recorded past selves mechanic. The obstacles don't rest though which means one time the path is clear but the next time it might not be and that messes up the ghost button timings. Good job though
wow, so many comments but yeah, really short but dat pixel art. Interesting theme but it looks more upbeat than sinister, unless the guys is about the kill the girl.
Nice bowling alley aesthetic but as you say a rather tenuous link to the theme
There's no real challenge to this except how fast you can click. You should be able to set up regular shipments of resources to the mothership rather than have to collect them in 5000 unit lumps. Maybe if the people on the mothership also ate food then there would be a need to keep them alive maybe set up farm worlds that generate more food than they consume which you can then ship off to metal rich worlds with no food. Maybe a oregon trail style journey between solar systems with the food you've collected on a solar system which you need to make last the journey (and decide how many people to risk bringing along) Hope you expand on the game post jam as the theme was interesting.
Not bad for 48 hrs and I do like space games that let you build up so much speed you shoot right past your destination. Kept ramming into asteroids though as there's no warning or radar.
Nice AI voice, amazing amount of content you did manage to do but as you say, not much connection to the theme.
cool game
this game is awesome, good combination of worker placement and event cards, very deep gameplay and tactics!
this game is awesome, like reverse FTL lol
wow your own bullets kill you? that's harsh.
love the game and the graphics. well done.
the amount of time you get to jump in a portal is way too short. I just hang around one end and hope it's the correct one. nice graphics though.
Nice game but pacing needs work
nice relaxing game, clean and simple visuals. maybe add a limit on blocks so you don't just place a long massive path at max height. also noticed a bug once when I passed the village and kept on rolling until I placed another block past the goal.
nice experiment, took me a while to realise that the shade of a poly is what mattered and not the position on the planet
right clicking brings up the unity context menu, you should disable that when you do the web build (in player settings). It's difficult to tell which platforms will be there when you switch back to the other world, maybe clearly show different platform types with 2 bright colours. the glow trail effect is pretty neat. good compo entry
Yeah, there's only 2 plants and 1 animal but we planned all sorts of weird alien fauna and flora each with different behaviors and interactions. But alas such is ludum dare.
@elliottd Ha ha yeah it's a bit gross...
Edited the instructions for less acronyms
Anyone managed to stick with it till the end?
@Kayelgee the 2nd plant eats snails to make seeds, it's not hinted at, you just have to experiment with it. I wanted a sense of exploration with each world adding new life forms to play with.
@Jellycakes You do have to be careful with that, make sure there's always at least one of each thing left so they can spawn more. If you plant a bulb next to a snail you'll get infinite snails after a bit lol
Thanks!
@Kayeglee You can't pick up the snails but you can lure them with seeds if you want them to move in a certain direction. I was going to make them climb walls like snails but didn't get round to it. It's possible to head butt them around but it's tricky to do.
@recursor Thanks. Your game is fun as well. If we expanded the game we'd probably add some danger element but not any combat (want to keep it about exploration and experimentation), maybe an exploding/burning seed that lets you burn plants you don't want anymore or some kind of snappy plant that blocks your path. Maybe some physics/mind altering seeds? lol
@MechanicMoon I think your 3 eyed space pigs would get along with my pooping dino lol
@Colapsydo The orange plant is carnivorous, feed it snails
We're very happy with what we did, the main mechanics are working and there's an end lol
Yeah the snail spiral on the shells doesn't really come out in the water colour style. I had them walking about randomly at first but then I broke it and then kinda like how they look like dormant rocks until some food was around so kept it that way.
@Pythong, poop the seeds into the green grass to make plants
@Jupiter_Hadley Thanks man!
@Rage Paint, the big rocks are actually snails, feed them seeds to make more.
Woo, scored highly on humour again. Too bad about the theme. Thanks for playing and commenting guys!
bit weird that you have to scroll with the mouse wheel but select with the number keys. pretty short game but it was enjoyable, I like the connection with the theme and the disparity of what was being written and what was on the screen.
Looks very 60's pop art.
not much difference between worlds, it's more like walking into another room or teleporting around the same world, there's also not much planning your route as you can't see much or maintain a position in your head as everything looks so similar and you jump around in portals. It would have been better if you could teleport to a high point to look down on the map or something.
Really fun game. I liked the void effect taking over the planet and the transfer mechanics. Each level introduced a new element and the learning curve was just right. Disconnecting planets was a bit of a pain though, maybe make it so that you can break connections by swiping across the line like you're cutting a rope.
Also maybe add an effect to show the direction of transfer and which connections are currently active seeing as only one direction of transfer is allowed at the same time.
good fun game, AI is a bit dumb though
Very fun game
Fun game, controls took a bit of learning but actually watching your trail helps in braking and avoiding gravity wells. The only thing I would say is make it impossible to get stuck on an asteroid as that's really annoying. Either cap the max gravity force to something lower than your max thrust or give you an after burner (burn x4 more fuel for 2x more thrust) to give you the extra thrust needed to escape a gravity well.
Nice little game and love the artwork!
nice thumping sound track. game takes a bit of getting used to, don't think I've managed to turn a profit yet.
amazing game, I'd be surprised if this didn't end up top of the charts. mouse control was a bit fiddly. I imagine it would work better with a joypad. you would probably sell a lot on console
interesting mechanics, bit of a head scratcher trying to work out where the sounds will be in each world, maybe add a marker to make easier. I only played the first 3 levels but I can imagine there being multiple switches that you can lure the AI into as part of the puzzle
The music is really annoying but the core mechanics are solid. Would be ace on Oculus Rift and some motion controllers!
Love the clean lines and use of colour (or lack there of)
Nice simple one button controls and some tricky level designs.
There's a lot of trial and error and practice even though there's only one button to press lol. Would make a good mobile game if were to release a full version.
Like the little ghost and nice concept!
Cool mechanics, now get an artist and release this game!
nice neon art
nice graphics. the game mechanics could do with some polish, maybe don't make the player fly out of the map as soon as the game starts and make the bullets disappear after a few seconds because I think it was lagging the game out with all the extra bullets floating around.
cool game but the ship and fire rate is really slow, I also think the aim is off, if you put the cross hair on target you actually fire slightly under it.
Hahaha awsome game!
Woop got my bacon potato salad.
Shame there's no check point system.
fun recorded past self mechanic but I didn't die when touching them like it says in the instructions also got really laggy after 6 loops and my computer is pretty fast, maybe needs some optimisation. lovely graphics
Cool game, could do with faster difficulty curve, maybe add some power ups that you could let drop into the lower levels for different effects. Also I feel like the asteroids should get bigger as you get lower due to scale.
Amazing amount of work for a jam
would have preferred the video and text to be in the same place, interesting experiment though
cool html5 game. not being able to walk diagonally is rather distracting though
Interesting single player coop game lol
it's cool that you have multiple endings for a compo entry
nice relaxing game up until I got shot by something off screen and died instantly. maybe a health bar or shield would be nice. also I noticed the camera got worse after a restart, bug maybe? It was good testing out my geography trying to work out where I was over the Earth :) Good work if you did all this by yourself in 48 hours.
ambitious project, shame you wont be finishing it
good game but needs check points
not bad, a little repetitive, impressive that you managed to do all this solo though.
Cool game, I liked the swap between worlds but it keeps spinning if you're near both worlds and you hold jump which made me dizzy lol. Also damn those spikes!
I thought the game was about a sperm and egg but then the white circle ended up not being the egg. Who knew there were so many lasers and dangers inside the body?
fun game
Nice graphics
Wow, very Japanese. I love games like Katamari and Noby Noby Boy. Are you in a bowl of soup? Very bizarre and surreal. Love the art, sounds, physics, everything!
Fun game but no scoring system. The boost doesn't really do anything, maybe make it let you smash a rock without losing health if you time it right. Love the destruction effect.
Take some ques from jetpack joyride and you've got yourself a great mobile endless runner.
People not getting the theme connection probably gave up before getting to the dimension swap. But I will say maybe make it more clear at the start that you're meant to avoid rocks and ram spiders.
I'm not going to vote because I can't get it to run. I clicked everywhere on the screen and no turret menu appeared. All I can do is press start and then I die cos there are no turrets. Concept sounds like fun though.
interesting concept, not sure where the theme link is. Would be a fun little toy to check in on once a day if it were persistent, see what your little villagers are getting up to, maybe they built a monument to you one day and then had a war and died another day.
I really like space games but goddamn I ran out of fuel at the door to a station! They couldn't give me a light push or something?! Maybe a rescue beacon could be activated and you pay for a tow back to a station. you could do it in real time if you wanted. something like AA breakdown cover for your ship. lol
interesting take on the theme but it could have been easier on the eyes with higher resolution and bigger buttons
nice graphics, I feel the cyber world-real world link could have been stronger, hacking could also have been more interesting. good stealth entry
cool game, a bit like osmos where you need to be a certain size to collect a thing. It's great when you have a big long arm and can just sweep up all the planets in a wide arc
Brilliant concept, the opening scramble for parts reminds me of galaxy trucker. Would have been cool if the ships you built actually showed the guns/armour/engines that you put on them but given the time limit that's understandable. Maybe you can expand the game to have more detailed ship models, maybe specific combinations creates unique ship types like stealth bombers or support ships with no guns or planet bombers.
Fun game but I think mouse aiming would have been better.
HA that was great, that ending! And it went on just long enough without being tedious.
nothing wrong with an adventure game without combat
would pay money for a full version of this game as the art and theme are lovely
fun game, it's like working!
reminds me of papers, please.
nice artwork
Wow, really impressive that you managed to make a multiplayer AR game in a jam. Unfortunately I only have iOS devices and they're not too great for sharing files on. Could totally take this in Skylanders direction and sell toys with AR battles lol
cool game
cool game bro, harvest moon light. good length for a 48 hr compo
well done on getting a game in, nice pixel art
Nice theme
web player has an error, can't rate
Nice art and movement but having to recollect all the stars for every single mistake is a bit harsh. Maybe add a check pointing system.
By the end I was making 30k on pigs each run. Shame you removed events cos there's really no challenge after that. O noticed what might be a bug if you max out your hangar upgrade the planet image reverts back to level 1.
Okay game.
Nice low poly graphics and burn effect. The tractor beam is a bit useless how it flings your cargo around, wouldn't use it to move house with lol.
Reminds me of the old snes game EVO Search for Eden. Good work
Good game for your 2nd ever. Travel between planets is cool.
Like the concept, really original, well done.
I like how you convey the story without words simply by having the red-head girl or the brown haired guy disappear when one of their many ancestors failed to survive.
Reminds me of the scene in Watchmen when Dr. Manhattan discovers the value of human life as every single ancestor of a person had to have survived long enough to have children.
hard game. I like the glow effect
Probably a tad too much grinding for my liking.
Perhaps lower the time limit and amount of grinding required for less patient people like me. The low res look is alright but why impose that restriction on yourself?
Good job posting something but really should be an executable
nice game within a game theme. could have done with more gamey mechanics like rival bacteria or target to reach like some animal's throat cells, maybe enemy white blood cells. Maybe some evolution upgrades like bigger game of life play area.
fun game
nice writting
cool game
The screen shots reminded me of the old pipes screensaver on windows 98. The use of theme and game mechanics are godly but not sure if it could be expanded to a full game. The moving platforms actually reminded me of the moving gantry bit in the film hitch hiker's guide to the galaxy for some reason lol. Good job.
I like the literal take on the theme and always love me some pixel art. very cute.
Fun game, first try I was expanding on all planets at the same time. Much easier just to max out the infrastructure and marketing on a single planet first by which time you have enough money to just build back hauls on all the other planets without worrying about customers to win the game.
Amazing entry, love the aesthetics and theme and artwork. You should definitely release a full version, I'd pay money for it.
loved watching the board turn to my colour, very satisfying. reminds me a bit of perimeter or creeper world what with the fluid nature of influence. a bit of a steep learning curve at the start trying to figure out the controls.
Love the artwork in this one
cute!
Someone's already mentioned megaman but the multi character twist is good. Love the pixel art and the cute monsters. maybe add a joint attack if you build up a super bar?
Linux only?
fun social commentary lol
The guy reminds me a bit of Rayman except with arms and legs. Solid entry, could do with some sort of goal.
nice melty buildings effect
Love the graphics and characters and how you create an image from joining the dots.
Pretty fun shooting at walls, don't think I hit a single plane.
nice mini golf game, I like the wormholes that teleport your ball, could do with a score and less flickering on the background images
nice fun game and it's cool you created some multiplayer servers in a game jam
love the animations on the little punchy guy!
interesting planet switching mechanic, got to wave 4 then it got a bit samey
Good work, reminds me of the old pre-rendered days of gaming like myst. The text could advance quicker or on a click.
visually brilliant and very atmospheric, not sure about the theme, is it the disconnect between profit and environment? I like the sounds as well except the warning sound which is much louder than the other ones and quite jarring.
wow, awesome optical illusions
Lots of stuff going on here, maybe there could be more cues about alliances by having coloured lines? Would be good to have more influence over the other factions like in drox operative. Pay insurgents to destabilise a planet or spread rumours about other factions, stuff like that.
Great take on the theme. Sort of like a low fi watch dogs. If you expand the game you could add in a bunch of cyber punk themes like ghost in the shell or sentient AIs or being able to hack a robot to make it do things on the map. Good job.
nice game, would love some sounds
Really fun game, spent far longer on it than I intended to lol
The dudes in orange jump suits look like convicts, especially the rock breaking ones lol
I especially liked the ability to retry your factory set ups before committing and trying to eke out the maximum profit, really tickled the min/max optimiser in me. Over worked lazy employees be damned lol
Carcassone is great but maybe you could have come up with a totally different rule set to make things more interesting
brilliant
always impresses me when people do multiplayer games in ludum dare
Really nice look and feel. Would work great with a Leap Motion ;) PS played it on chrome and it works, just press the little icon on the top to allow plugins.
cool
cool game
nice idle game, bit too much clicking though
cute snowman
nice graphics and monster sounds
hah, brilliant
love me some twin stick shooters
really nice platformer. also damn those trap floors!
@Gamepopper you should check out my leap motion VR jam entry http://itch.io/jam/leapmotion3djam/rate/13511
The problem with ludum dare is fewer people have oculus rifts (and even fewer with rifts and leap motions)
Added day/night, whale, seagulls, clouds
Just put a little boat in, now you can push it around on the water and maybe pick it up and place it on a cloud.
Yeah, I just got a Leap Motion and I couldn't resist :)
I'm fully aware that not everyone can play this game but I tired it was mouse support and it was not very fun.
Thanks for all the comments!
nice game, always kept an eye on the door in case the boss came in a caught me playing games at work lol
good first game entry, nice mechanics

very well done, difficult to see how to keep playing past the first couple missions as I keep failing them without knowing why.
