tiny terrors by berkano 2013-08-26T22:16:00
Man, this is complex. (In a positive way.) Your manual is longer than some entries here.
The graphics are cute.

Man, this is complex. (In a positive way.) Your manual is longer than some entries here.
The graphics are cute.
Very nice presentation and good sound.
What got a bit frustrating were the controls. What always got me was pressing space bar to start and at that point I had already began pressing the mouse for movement but because it happened before starting the level the input was not registered. Maybe starting the level when beginning with movement would be better.
What a lovely game. The graphics, music, style. And the imagination begins to wander because of presentation and the scenario.
Perhaps you should have arranged the key input so that it could be comfortably played by a single person steering both characters.
I liked the mood and atmosphere which included the sound, the eye view and the eye blinking.
The controls I did not like very much. Sometimes Shift seemed to slow the character instead of speeding up, I could not walk forward and sidewards at the same time and overall walk speed seemed too slow.
Very good game. Feels already polished.
The animations made me smile the whole time.
Nice retro style, Calahagus.
Control of the ships in battle felt clunky and random. And it would be nice if you packed the useful information (multiplayer, input keys for second player) into the game screens itself.
Very good presentation. Moody. Pity that there is no audio.
The game should better explain if the player is doing right or wrong at the moment.
I liked the presentation and the use of flies. :)
The gameplay got a bit boring / frustrating after a while.
As a great plus and already said: needed minimal instruction to play.
I really like what you have accomplished in the given timeframe.
The music track got a bit on my nerves after some time.
The editor was not usable for me because it would not leave play-mode (time running and game over screen).
Of course my error was not pressing T when using the editor. :)
I like the presentation. But the gameplay was too confusing / fast for me.
Tried to run the game in my VirtualBox LinuxMint. Failed with following message:
./LudumDare27: error while loading shared libraries: libsfml-system.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
I do not know Linux very well. Can I install the sfml libraries with a simple console command like apt-get something?
Used the Windows version now and that worked for me.
Liked the style and the music very much, but was not able to collect a single fuel item. But, interestingly enough, I got not frustrated. Perhaps because of the nice music and sympathic atmosphere?
In think this is a very good 'almost' first game ever.
The game did work for me, but "How to play" did nothing. Game appeared a few seconds after starting, that was irritating.
Excellent interpretation of the theme and nicely told story.
Nice game. Played a few rounds and did never survive, but was fun nonetheless.
The soothing music and the unit sounds did not go well together, I think. At least for my taste.
Windows version works here without crash (after copying the exe to the parent folder, of course).
It was fun, but I am not a fan of the text screens. (in both style and "cool" language)
Congratulations on your first ludum dare game. You did it! :)
Very cool idea. And the game is fun even at this early stage.
Thank you very much for your comments.
Updated the source link with the complete Unity project.
Thank you all very much for your comments. This feedback is really helpful.
As to the resemblance to Portal I just want to add: That was no intention in the beginning. My goals were: Learning physics and first person in Unity. And to get something working at the end: Keep it small. So just a bunch of levels with time limits. Then I needed some kind of story, but how to tell in this environment... So the announcer was born. And from there it kind of dragged in that direction.
I don't like copying either and see this resemblance as the greatest flaw in my own creation. Will push for more originality next time when I am more confident.
Anyways. Thank you all very much. This was a great weakend.
@SnoringFrog: That does of course count as bothering the workers. As punishment, you will be disintegrated the next time you see any robots. Take care. :)
@Christina Nordlander: Yes, it's a bit light on the gameplay side. Thank you very much for your feedback.
@all: Wonderful constructive feedback that you are giving me here. Positive and negative things. Thank you very much.
Me too. Won't run on Win8 64.
This is a wonderful game, although I did not finish it. I like the mood, the graphics and the descriptions.
I too often had to type "help" because I could not remember all of the commands.
Great game.
So many things you got right. Gameplay, mood, graphics.
And I even made it to the end. :)
Very good entry. Loveley presentation. And the gameplay was interesting, although I was not good enough to make it to the end. (I blame it on Little Vader whom I instructed to watch the oxygen levels. But he didn't seem to care.)
Very good game. I really like the idea and the mechanics.
Some critique:
- Presentation could be better.
- Camera was offset from the center on my Windows System. Or, judging from the screenshots, is that how it was supposed to be?
- I do think that visual representation of viewing cones for the enemies would make it a better game because it would be more predictable.
- Shooting felt predictable and always worked like I wanted it to happen.
Level 6 was too hard for me. But that's perhaps just me.
Overall, a very good entry. Reminded me of the first Metal Gear Solid in a positive way.
Again, like your entry from last ludem dare, a very stylish and moody piece. I like this a lot.
Congratulations on your first ludum dare entry. You did it. You finished your game. :) And in C nonetheless.
Some critique:
As mentioned, hard-to-read font in white on light grey with many infos is not good for presentation.
The game as a whole needs more polish: More readible graphics, less particles, less confusing shooting directions.
And what was that game over timer?
Gameplay was a bit confusing and could use more work / explanation. But i really liked the atmosphere the music and the colours created.
Great idea. And a very nice overall entry.
Some critique:
I find it hard to judge the fun aspect, because, when it works, it is very much fun, but when it does not work, it gets very frustrating. Stopped by things which you cannot see can easily be the most frustrating thing in a game. Although the upbeat music helped a lot.
Stopped at red color. Not trying more than a few times when a flawed jump destroys all level progress.
Graphics were a bit too basic, could use more charm.
So, these things said, I really liked your entry.
Game worked for me.
Congratulations on your finished entry. You did it. You made a game on your own. :)
Some critique:
Game felt very buggy. Once I got stuck with an alien and could not do anything further. Bullets were still drawn.
Graphics (both gameplay graphics and interface) could need a bit more work.
Nice entry.
Good:
- graphics, audio, presentation
- ambition, scope
Bad:
- I really disliked the camera offsetting in horizontal direction and not fixed on the character. Don't know exactly why, but it bothered me much.
- Level loading felt very long. Perhaps call it "generating level" instead of "loading"? Waiting time would feel more justified.
- Space for reloading always get's me at least once unprepared.
Some levels were broken, but that I do not see as a negative point given the whole timeframe of two days.
Awesome game.
Visual style was excellent (drawn graphics and a few colors), but I think the font did not go well with that and feedback from actions (life points etc.) could have been clearer, bigger.
Worked here with latest Chrome on Windows.
Congratulations on your entry. :)
Some critique:
I would have liked the controls with less momentum.
Graphics instead of letters would be more discernible.
There was one bug where I flew through a glitch in the walls (?) and was moving somewhere out of screen. Don't know exactly how that happened.
Nice little game. I enjoyed this.
Some critique:
Controls felt a bit strange. I am so used to WASD for movement. And the character facing the mouse direction felt without purpose.
Great idea and execution.
I wonder if it would have been even more exciting if you would have had more time to acclimate and learn the rules but a ban would be a permaban. So you got only one play of this game.
I admire all people who write a network game in such a short timeframe.
I liked your entry.
But here is some critique:
- Do not quit the game on Escape without asking.
- Movement in horizontal direction would have been nice, even if it would have had no impact on gameplay.
- Some basic audio would have been nice.
- Gameplay progression worked rather well.
Loveley presentation.
Tutorials could be a bit clearer.
Regarding the gameplay I am undecided if I could play this for longer periods of time or if it would bore me, but for the moment it was a very soothing experience.
Hahaha. Hilarious. Funniest entry so far.
I especially liked the voice over.
Controls and graphics could of course use more work. Some elements like the text bubbles did not go well with the old-school graphics style.
Z-Rendering on those workers worked not always and some text was therefore hidden by another worker.
Good game. I had fun with this one.
I do think that the game would have a much better flow to it if I did not have to reset the laser manually after every mistry with the space bar.
The minimalistic graphics were ok, but there were way too many particles. That was distracting.
Great game. I like your graphics and the gameplay. Wonderful style.
Could be a wonderful experience too if it were not buggy and had some audio.
Bugs:
- Talking to the first quest giver(?) seemed to initiate two dialogues at once which overlayed each other.
- Second play after death, the bottles in the tutorial did not take any damage.
Oh, and I did not like those bottles mixing with real enemies in the first fight. (Perhaps also a bug?)
Nice little entry.
Not much content but what is there I like.
Intro Screen has too much text in small font sizes.
Nice little game.
I would have expected the rabbits killing me but they were rather harmless. ;)
Did fall off the map at one point but could not go anywhere or restart from the red death screen.
Download and play worked OK for me.
Nice puzzle gameplay.
Did take a while for me tackle the challenge at the beginning where you only have to move to the right out of screen. ;)
Loveley game. I like the characterization of the crew members.
I like contemplating existence.
Why do I listen to my thoughts for an eternity and not recognize that I can already crawl? Why does this feel awkward when all I have to do is push forward? Does this ever end? What are those shiny drops that I swallow?
Why does this look so beautiful? Why do I feel so content and at peace?
Good game.
Audio would be really nice to complement the likeable graphics. The attack animation could be clearer.
Sidenote: Y and Z are interchanged on a german keyboard. So the controlls were a bit awkward until I used my Xbox Controller.
I am not sure what I was playing here, but it had unicorns and was fun. :)
The battle scenes were too fast, I think.
Nice cockpit simulator. :) I liked the rightmost switch the most. And the periscope view.
A pity that there is not more gameplay. Would have liked a submarine simulation.
This had an old school feeling to it like many games try and few succeed. Perhaps the mix of gameplay, stones graphics in the background and music, that has character but stays in the background.
The movement was very slow and had too much drag. Jumping felt better.
Good job. Feels already quite polished.
The ocean feels a bit too sterile to me. Could use more noise, texture.
Loveley game.
I would have liked the controlls to be more precise and not so much drag, but otherwise that was a very soothing atmosphere. So, perhaps it worked just as it should. :)
Lovely game.
Liked the mood of this and the presentation.
Some ambient music would have been great. I am not so sure if the sounds matched the presentation.
Great first entry. And even impressive, considering you used C++.
Haha, that music. Great!
Good idea and execution.
Some more polish would go a long way here, I think. (GUI skin, info or winning screen after survival of a wave, display of enemies alive, perhaps visual indicator of whereabouts of the enemies...)
But the game is already fun as it is.
Hmmh. The procedure was bit frustrating. Adding to that the long intro and loud music.
Why no singleplayer?
I appreciate the idea and effort though. :) The blonde surfer reminds me of the Dude in Big Lebowski.
Can it be that you can control one of the sharks with the keyboard, just vertically flipped? ;)
Whoa. I love this game. And I even completed it.
The music, drumroll, the isometric graphics, style.
Very well done. My highlight so far.
Nice game.
The difficulty seemed to get stuck at a higher pace after a while. Started new game but was almost over as enemies came so fast.
The cooldown for the shooting was irritating. Either remove that cooldown or show a visual display so the player knows when he can shoot again.
Lovely idea. It took me a while to understand whats going on, but then I had much fun with this game.
In mid-game, my position was reset to the exit, but without the diamond. I was able to retake it ...
Man, that got frustrating fast. But I still kept on playing. So I assume it worked? :)
The music did match the game, although it was a bit too noisy for me.
Lovely game.
Graphics could use more contrast between foreground and background and the level below is too dark.
The link in the main directory did not work. Had to search for the Gameengine.exe
Well, seems I played the first Unreal Engine 4 Game of my life. So, it is of course the best Unreal Engine 4 game I have ever played. :)
Nice and smooth presentation, apart from the title font. Perfect sound and ambience.
Feels very polished.
We also did an underwater game.
http://www.ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-29/?action=preview&uid=3707
Shows how much those can differ. ;)
I like this game very much.
At first I thought: "Why is the ship all black?" That art style made immediately more sense when the battle started.
I am no fan of the control scheme on the world map. But the fact that you have a world map where one can travel is a big plus.
Nice game. Very good presentation and sound ambience.
The mechanics were interesting but I got stuck rather early without an idea of crossing the chasm above without hitting the head below. :)
The idea for the story? That just.. developed.
The diving mechanic was first. Then one of us had the song "Holy Diver" from DIO in mind. When I painted the treasure graphic and it looked like a grail, it somehow came together as a stranded Parzival character diving for holy grails.
There were of course many more treasures, enemies etc. planned initially.
The game is fun.
Would have even liked it more if the screening would take a bigger portion of the screen.
I liked the silhouette people and the screening of the luggage, but otherwise the graphics felt a bit too cold / too noisy.
Very good. Had fun digging. Although I would have liked to digg through to the top. :)
Digging to the top did not work in general. And the combination of direction+space to start digging felt strange. Would have liked to start the drill always when pressing space, even when not moving.
I like these kind of games. You always wonder what's burried there behind the next block of earth.
Ambitious project. And you finished it.
But the controls are tedious. For example, the game could show the Planet "Info" in smaller font size in the upper left corner just when selecting or hovering over a world. And the names of the planets could be shown permanently on the map.
Interesting gameplay and charming presentation. Wonderful. :)
Neatly designed. Very well done.
Game description could be shown a bit longer. Or loose it and explain the game alongside the first playthrough.
Wonderful atmosphere.
Went the way of the dryad and marvelled at your words.
Although the ending is not very surprising it is a strong theme and resonates with human life.
Wonderful idea for coop.
Was the only person playing at this moment but it was still kind of fun, switching between torch and digging.
I like the theme of torch bearers in dark caves.
I liked the presentation and the story setting.
Gameplay was a bit frustrating. Probably not because it was not well done but by my low jump predicting skills.
Schick. :)
Game closes (crashes?) immediately on title screen when pressing space bar. Windows.
I liked the presentation, but controls with the arrow keys was clunky. Would have liked gamepad support.
Great game. Love the characters.
Interesting puzzle game. Challenging and fair, because it is solvable.
Current Selection could be a bit more obvious, those particle effects were rather small.
I had one time where some nodes further away got rotated with an unconnected node. So there seems to be a possible bug in the parenting.
Great game. But I did not find the way out of the maze. The environment outside did look more interesting than those grey walls and floors.
Looks loveley and has style.
I got a bit frustrated when the characters got stuck at corners.
Nice atmosphere.
I couldn't quite grasp how the two puzzles connect. Or if the second room is no puzzle but a resource ... something? Well. :) I had fun nonetheless.
I love this game.
Played the web version until the graphics got too small and the rails could not always be recognized anymore.
That was a pleasant experience.
The idea of connecting two media worlds is great. Although the video got a bit on my nerves when the humming/beeping started.
The text could have more possible actions for the player. But very well written.
Nice game. Good effort.
Movement feels very sluggish.
Graphics could be better, but the colors are nice.
Defending Earth can be a tough job. :)
But was fun for a few minutes. Interface on the game screen could be more streamlined. Perhaps more like context buttons when selecting a planet?
Those instruments always remind me of Monkey Island. ;)
The people on those planets are starving. Nowhere food to buy.
Right message.
And i love adventure games.
Ha. 105 Points. Leaderboard works here.
Wonderful game. The best I have seen today.
Good mix of mechanics and the player gets eased into the game. Fabulous presentation.
All that walking got a bit tedious. :)
But very nice presentation.
Skybox was flickering.
Well, that was more fun than I had expected beforehand.
Well thought out gameplay with rising difficulty. Made it to Level 24.
Would have liked the movement to be more direct with less inertia when landing after jumping.
Great. I love how the sound comes together. I could just sit idly by and listen and be at peace.
Framerate did take a major dive at the end.
Is that correct that the web version ist just a few hundred pixels wide?
Great idea to use a roleplaying game with world map. The graphics style is good enough, but the main character was hard to make out.
Wonderful trash! How much content you put into this. Of course, individual gameplay could have been improved in some scenes, but as a whole, that was great game with many laughing out loud moments.
Thank you very much.
Great game with lots of fun and beautiful presentation.
Perhaps a bit too psychedelic for playing longer sessions.
Good idea. A bit frustrating, perhaps, because of the automatic movement, even if you can change the course somewhat.
Great game. Was a lot of fun.
Perhaps you could use border graphics or overlay graphics to let the color of the field itself remain unchanged when highlighting etc.
Great idea and wonderfully executed.
The art style is gorgeous, of course, but sound is also well done and gameplay works without a hitch.
The only thing I don't really like is the necessity to switch between possible actions instead of context actions or presenting them all at once, but that is of course subjective. (Perhaps it is just the standard scheme of Visionaire Studio?)
Atmospheric game. Fun to play, and somewhat relaxin, even if you run against the timer.
Well done.
Lovely idea and fabulous presentation.
I like the archetypes you have chosen a lot.
Sometimes missed the right lane to enter. Visual representation of the state could be a little clearer.
I am not sure, what this is, but I enjoyed it. Thank you.
Wow. All that polished content in three days. Excellent.
Just one minor critique: I would have liked to destroy all those flatscreens. I know, they are not responsible for my own demise, the people in suits are, but nonetheless, they, too, should not remain unscathed. ;)
Works here on Windows 8.1.
Platforming felt a bit wonky and there were some glitches here and there and a crash in one of the mazes, but great idea to present all the game on one screen as a selection. Great job.
Good game. Teleporting is fun.
The walls could use a non-friction material to not get stuck on them when jumping against. Jumping itself feels not as good as teleporting.
And the theme is missing.
Fun game. I liked the top-down style and the controls worked OK after I reread that the arrow keys are for shooting. (Could not make that out on myself.)
A health bar could be more useful than just a number in the corner.
Lovely little game.
Jumping mechanics felt strange but worked.
Lol. Hilarious.
And... the poor guy. How could you?
Great job.
Lol. Good game.
Got a bit tiresome to click for every bullet and mentioning a nazi base, "boobs of war" and the title screen promised a bit more than the game itself could hold.
The talking is the best part. Hilarious stuff. :)
Good game. Difficulty could have been ramped up more quickly. As it is, it feels a bit slow.
Good game.
Sometimes the start of the scene was too unfair, fast. And once you left the critical mass there was no difficulty left but you still have to reach the end, which takes some time. What I want to say is, balancing the distribution could make the game even better.
Lol, the game got a lot easier when I was not constantly shooting.
Good game. A bit spartanic on the presentation side.
Good game. Presentation is nice and gameplay is an interesting concept, although a bit easy perhaps.
A simple audio track would have greatly enhanced the already good atmosphere.
Lighting was good for me in Win-32 Version.
Good job.
Weird game, but interesting.
Next time, you should let the player restart at the level where he died, not at the complete beginning. (Not sure if you did at later leves, did not progress past the the running sequence.) The intro gets a little old after the fifth time.
Oh man, I am such a lousy taxi pilot. The passengers would probably leave the taxi ahead of time. If they could. Luckily, the taxi is high in the air, so no complaint there.
Great game. And I love hexes in every form.
Very interesting game. Good job.
But I don't like the concept of moving a character to interact with something that resembles a puzzle. Would perhaps liked it more if movement was faster, more direct.
Wonderful idea.
Beginning was a bit slow due to the need of understanding you need to warp drive to an interesting location. Battle system with typing commands was hilarious. Had much fun with that.
Game Over Screen did not lead back to menu or new game. Had to restart the game.
Great game and atmosphere.
Love the fact that the game is continous and you restart at the current challenge.
Hey, I am also a fan of Edgy Band Name. I think they are totally cool. Maybe we can hangout sometime? Your place looks a lot like mine.
Well, that was fun. Saloons are, in general.
I would have liked the graphics to be more literal instead of those tiny little dots for characters. Music was great, but I thought the sound effects didn't fit good to that.
And... I won't ask why. :)
Good theme for your story. Next time, why not try to make a game of it with choices to make?
And you should make the width of the paragraph smaller so it's better to read.
Good game. You should add some difficulty perhaps, as at the moment it is just a linear upgrade machine.
I would like a daily job where I get 25 cent for every click I do. :)
Good game. Controls could be more intuitive.
Crafting items is a good idea, but I didn't like the combat gameplay.
Items could use a description, name or bigger pictures because some of them are hard to recognize.
Cute little game. Very good job for your first game.
The bird image is very nice. Sounds could have been more birdlike. ;)
Wow. Beautiful atmosphere.
Nice selection of videos.
Gameplay worked but got a bit boring in the end.
Getting eaten by monsters at 9 in the morning was a bit surprising.
Nastly little elves. I hate those buggers. :)
Good job.
Controls felt 'off' for me. I expected to move with WASD and shoot or build with the mouse.
Good game. Jumping controls were a bit frustrating (he really is a bit clumsy) and the concept as a whole too, which played nicely into the hell theme.
Good game, but gameplay was a bit too easy.
Very interesting concept. Graphics and audio feel good.
Could have been a very great game with a bit more polishing/giving feedback to the player. Death could be more obvious and using the stairs also. Would have helped if the doors would have been different on different floors.
Great job so far.
Good game.
I know low ammo is kind of part of the genre, but I would have loved some more bullets. :) Shooting cubes is fun.
Good game. Graphics are OK, use of particle effects is nice, audio could have been more horror if that was your direction.
"Try again" is broken, ends with an overlayed something.
Good groundwork. Gameplay is a bit broken, but what is there looks like a promising start.
Did not really get it. I like hex based turn based game, so I hope you improve on it.
Oooh, how charming.
Fun game. Had some problems sometimes discerning the right color. Perhaps differentiate the blocks more. Showing the block against a light brown background also changes the perception of the color shown.
Hey, you also made an arena game. And you had time for the audience. :)
Great game. Love the flying tomatoes.
Good game. Had fun with this one.
Felt a bit unfair when a ball landed "under" the shield or when balls collided near the antimatter and changed their direction towards the antimatter.
Got a nearly broken game at some point when the first ball went from one corner to the other and back and back...
Very good entry for your first time.
Great game. I love shooters.
You did a good job capturing all the essential gameplay and as everything is in place and feels good enough the game isn't hindered by the simple graphics.
Cool game. Presentation is top notch and I am amazed that you had time for producing great levels.
Diagonal movement would be nice.
Works on Windows.
Very good concept, but controls felt a bit stiff. And as you switch between two modes (walking/jumping and puzzling) the gameplay felt not very fluid.
Nice graphics, animations and effects.
Gameplay worked good, but some minor critique:
Delay between trigger and spawning the bullet was too long. Sometimes movement got not reset to 0.
The yellow bullets felt too big and inappropriate compared to the other graphics.
Lol. Funny game.
Great art style and atmosphere.
Didn't understand the mechanics at first. Would probably avoid misunderstanding if message at the beginning would be "Find the mind weapon".
Wow, that game feels very complete. Good job on doing this in such a short time.
The difficulty was too high for me, but that's not saying much. ;)
Lol, that was pure fun. Time well spent. The mechanics were hilarious.
Wonderful idea. I like that very much.
Unfortunately, I found it very difficult. Shooting was OK, but the people got crazy super fast. Almost no time to shoot the second person.
"You want the backpacker? You can't handle the backpacker."
Well done. Great game with a wonderful idea. And that music accompanying the speakers: hilarious.
Me, as a non native speaker, I often asked myself: Is that a made up word or is it just a word I do not know yet.
Interesting scene. From the screenshots I even hoped to get a complete adventure game. ;)
That's an interesting idea. And I like the scene.
I would have it liked even better if you would not have used standard assets like the chair. Would make even more personal.
Lol. I am so bad at the drums. I would probably do much better with the vocals. :)
Hilarious game. Well done.
Great graphics, but it's a bit small on my screen (hard to see), and I see no possibility to scale it.
Very interesting concept and finely detailed. Could probably improved by a bit more handholding at first, so that the player knows what the game is and how it works.
Great idea. And your graphics are top. Wonderful.
Throwing felt not very satisfying. You should make the collider bigger, so the food gets more easily grabbed.
Memory access violation (Windows 8.1)
Very cool idea. I also like the black and white presentation.
The light spirits were a bit too fast for me.
The input setting felt strange to me so I changed the movement keys to WASD in the Settings.
Good entry. And the story was moody.
The text between the interactive elements was too long, in my opinion.
That's a very relaxing game. Thank you for a few minutes of recovery. :)
It got a bit tedious at the garden level.
Great walk animation.
Well done game.
Thank you for all the great comments.
Yes, the background noise is me, too.
And I acknowledge the game is a bit low on the gameplay side, probably boring in the long run.
That's very cool. I like the mechanics a lot.
I thought it was a bit hard but I kept playing so maybe it was exactly right.
Graphics are OK, but display of a dead enemy should be clearer/faded out, so that distracts not anymore.
I have a XBox 360 Gamepad, but it doesn't work.
Uh, that's bizarre. I like it. Would have been nice if it got more finished.
Lol, that's a mighty weapon. Great idea and even an execution that is fun.
I am no Java Coder, but I agree with the points longshorts made.
Even if it was just a fun game, that rekindled many good Ultima memories. You captured that style perfectly.
La-Laaaaa!
Beautiful presentation. Love the style, and the fact that the game is instantly playable without reading any long description.
I think the playability would even be higher when I could click near the trap instead of the red trigger. Then I would have more time to think about using the right trap instead of trying to hit the trigger with the mouse.
Wonderful game. I just wish I would be better in tongue licking.
Excellent entry.
Congrats on your finshed game. I even played it through to the end.
The mechanics are good. But the game needs more polish. The view distance is too short, most of the enemies are seen too late.
Lol, I'm so bad ad throwing eggs.
Good game. Controls felt strange.
Awesome. There's some hot stuff on sale.
Could, of course, be more game, but I like the idea and the weapon it generates.
I don't get why they are so angry. It was just a little can, right? ;)
Very fun. Great job. I hope you didn't come to this idea through real life experience.
A few suggestions for improvements:
The player is hard to make out from all the others. There's too much on the screen visually. And touching 'enemies' (losing a life) could use a bit feedback.
Excellent first Ludum Dare game.
Shooting love is what we all should do. :)
Smashing stuff as a bunny is fun.
The interface felt 'too big', and there was some perks stuff that did not work.
I expected other music when a rock'n'roll bunny mama was mentioned.
Great game. Nice visuals.
The Web Player version was a bit hard to play because the cursor was sometimes out of the window when looking around.
Good game. Love the fact, that you as a player learn the knowledge 'how to fight' directly.
Some ideas for improvement:
Clicking on the small letters was a bit tiresome. Playing just by keyboard and using the keys itself would have been fun.
Feels a bit static with the enemies just standing where they are.
Wow, that's a lot of destruction. And has even two play modes. Well done.
There was nothing left to do once the money was up. Or perhaps I missed something.
The interface could be improved. The descriptions were a bit out of place or there should have been more separation between them.
But otherwise: C'est bon! :)
Great game which could be improved by better physics. (Jumping, Sliding)
Great work for 8 hours. The 'battle star' feels nice to interact with.
Presentation is very good.
Time until the 'enemies' spawned was sometimes very long, which left me a bit confused.
Cool game. Reminded me positively of old school realtime strategy games.
The walking was a bit strange. Sometimes the Hackminator made a step backward when I orderer him a movement command.
Good game. Always wanted do be a cornflake ninja. :)
Graphics and sound could be improved, of course.
Amazing. The presentation is top, graphics and sound, but even better is the gameplay idea. It has the exact right mix of moving around, strategy and surprise.
Very cool idea. Presentation and execution is top notch.
It get's a bit tedious with 4 soldiers. And some of their names were blocked by the people in front of them.
