It's a cool game, just a little more info on how to play
Nice submit

antworks 2014-12-09 04:18

Interesting, but died on the first robot and got stuck inside the floor haha

muush 2014-12-09 04:35

Solid. Short, but really good as a LD entry.

HelkeGames 2014-12-09 06:53

Good game.... Nice concept! Congrats for your entry!

nelly 2014-12-09 06:55

style like in the "Ninja in Action" cartoon)

groydis 2014-12-09 08:58

Wow, very neat, Excellent job.

dieblume86 2014-12-09 09:13

I realy like the idea of the craft by using a picture to give us hint.

apiotrw 2014-12-09 10:03

I think you should improve the quality of the sprites a bit.

wayward 2014-12-09 10:16

Nice animations

reyn 2014-12-09 10:51

I love adventure games :) The crafting table was a nice idea instead of having an inventory. The ammo amount does run out but does not update in the UI so I had to replay to kill the last enemy. Well done on the audio if you guys did it yourselves. The graphics are better than most ludum dare games. I think Jenna's next adventure needs to be on more than one screen :P

sakergames 2014-12-09 10:56

Yeah, the sprites will be definitively refined. These are only place holders, since we hadn't enough time to make them. :) On Sunday afternoon we got this new idea, before that we were working on something different, but we quickly dumped it. So in the near future you'll be able to play an enhanced and much longer version of Nixtopia. :) Thanks for all your comment!

sakergames 2014-12-09 10:59

@Reyn Yeah, we did the music ourselves, and generated the sfx online. I'm glad that there is someone who likes the music. :D

harley77 2014-12-09 16:57

Loved this one. The artwork is awesome! I loved the adventure game feel of it.

prymidion 2014-12-09 17:02

Solid little escape game! I liked the battery puzzle, and hiding from the robot on the first floor was an unexpected by cool touch.

tonbery 2014-12-09 17:03

Cool game! Nice submit!

designernap 2014-12-09 17:24

This is a great concise entry! well done! I love how it ticked so many boxes! Female lead, crafting system, hiding in lockers, Key Cards, Powering up terminals, avoiding killer robots... reminds me of another game I know ;) Excellent work tho. I enjoyed this a lot, well done.

vaelzan 2014-12-09 18:19

Hey, I'm sorry that you couldn't run our game. I've uploaded a fixed version - for some reason Eclipse wasn't creating a manifest file with the exported files. All good now, feel free to take another look and let us know what you think.

I'm downloading your game now and I'll give it a go a little later on today. :)

antonybaasan 2014-12-09 19:37

Need web or mac version. Sorry can't rate.

tmkcodes 2014-12-09 19:54

Where is the Linux build?

sakergames 2014-12-09 20:22

@AntonyBaasan Uploaded Mac build, but not tested. Would you be that kind to test it? :P Thanx!

@TMKCodes Same with Linux build :D

Sorry for not thinking about other platforms, I'm still has to recover some lost sleeping hours. :)

sakergames 2014-12-09 20:25

(I told you)

nsadie 2014-12-10 18:25

Nice short adventure game! Some quirks and bugs, but still enjoyed solving the puzzles! Well done.

pulsartronic 2014-12-10 20:11

Cool, rated high in innovation ...
i was not able to find the combination at the tools table ... i'l be back later :D

asobitech 2014-12-10 22:39

Couldn't work out the controls.
I managed to hide in the locker from the robot, but then came out and didn't know how to shoot :(

sakergames 2014-12-11 06:41

@asobitech Perhaps you had no weapons to shoot with or items to throw at the robot. :) You have to find it out. :D

farwyler 2014-12-11 23:01

I love this one, realy good job here

ricklesauceur 2014-12-12 08:26

Cool! Controls were a bit difficult to figure it out ...

5k0d 2014-12-12 12:35

look is ok, sound is pretty awesome but i had a bug with the controls...character keept moving to the right couldnt do a thing to fix it ;-(

stephan_h 2014-12-12 12:44

Good game. Controls could be more intuitive.
Crafting items is a good idea, but I didn't like the combat gameplay.
Items could use a description, name or bigger pictures because some of them are hard to recognize.

teesquared 2014-12-12 12:49

Very complete but short game. Crafting in a platform adventure game was a nice twist.

cmweiss 2014-12-14 07:10

Pretty fun idea. A bit buggy, I couldn't open the door on the second story even after I build the battery and turned on the computer.

banana4life 2014-12-14 21:35

Kinda buggy when you get hit

lapskaus 2014-12-14 21:46

Nice game for killing 5 minutes.

garethiw 2014-12-15 09:38

Quite ambitious for a jam game, which is cool. Took a little time to figure out the crafting bit but other than that was straightforward and quite fun

broknecho 2014-12-16 03:22

Definitely a good start for such a small time frame. I beat it by trial and error on a few spots. Bone animations looked good. Nice Job!

voxel 2014-12-16 06:42

Didn't rate: i couldn't see anything beyond the room with the computer, but was able to pick up a fire extinguisher (even though i was offscreen). Probably a resolution bug? I'm using OS/X with a retina screen, so sometimes this happens. I'll come back towards the end of voting to see if there's a fixed version to rate :). Beautiful art style btw

sakergames 2014-12-16 12:21

@voxel Yes you are right, one of my friends pointed that out that on mac there is a resolution problem. It will be fixed soon. :)

mathmadlen 2014-12-19 01:14

Cool artstyle, well planned puzzles & nice mood. Really enjoyed it!

taro 2014-12-19 22:28

"Five Stars." -Brightstar

evanegibbs 2014-12-29 02:15

The sound was really great! This was ambitious for a LD game! The sprites and backgrounds were very detailed. I could tell sometimes there wasn't a complete animation sometimes but that is to be expected. I liked the idea of the crafting table but that's really where I got stuck. I wish the items had descriptions or some kind of hint. Great idea and good job!
