Don't you touch da bouncy by Phyyl 2014-12-09T02:52:00
I truly believed that I would not touch da bouncy. I was sorely mistaken.

I truly believed that I would not touch da bouncy. I was sorely mistaken.
I was quite a fan of the background, as well as the piano serenade. The bouncy little green thing was also really fun to kick around and had interesting interactions with the character, but I never really could figure out what it was that I was playing. Again. Thumbs up for the piano.
The audio killed it a little for me, too many instances of that enemy noise and the loop for the music was a little short. But the graphics and overall feel of the game was great, with all the little art pieces and colors. Really fun to play. :) good job!
The pattern recognition as a metaphor for comedy is a great idea! you should develop it further. Sadly in this game you only really had 2 patterns so once you figured out how to play the game became too easy. That is probably the biggest issue. But the graphics were great, and you had a consistent mood throughout the game that really made it feel like a comedy routine. Good job!
Haha, I had a fun time with this one. Nice try on the theme, though :P Pleasant music and tight controls. I wish the buttons on screen did more, though
I certainly enjoyed the levels that I played of this game, but the graphical jumpiness gave me a bit of a headache. Definitely fun, though!
I enjoyed everything about this game, honestly. It was pretty, fun, and had some awesome music and character designs. It felt a bit cramped, but that's not a bad thing. I feel it helped to reinforce a very tense mood, which felt really good
Very fun, fairly simple. Levels were well designed and conveyed information and mechanics very well. Idea was fun, and enjoyable to play. My only complaint is a little bit of graphical spasms, but that doesn't really detract from its greatness.
It's amazing how much better things look when you draw them horribly, then squish them down to a 32x32 resolution.
I was slightly confused by the building materials number, was I supposed to be able to repair the ground to save my family? If so I did not figure out how. I think that would be a great thing to have, as it would give the player "something to fight for" so to speak. But all in all the game was good, very good mood with the visuals and the audio together. The animation was nice.
A very interesting idea with some very appealing visuals. I feel it requires a bit too much reaction time to last more than about 8 seconds, unless I'm missing something. It was fun, though!
I think one of my favorite things about this game was the AI of the little dragons. They approached you at just enough of an off-angle to throw you off. Also, I loved the winter. it was just cool.
Fantastic. Set a mood that made me want to rush to the finish and barely press space, Graphics did there job very well. Very thematic.
I really like your visuals a lot, the background was fantastic. I could really see the design that went into deciding the costs for things, which was cool. :) good job, hope you go back and finish!
Background music was nice, and the game was enjoyable, but when I, personally, pressed down, it would force the webpage to scroll downwards with the game. The sprites were really adorable.
I'm in love with everything about this game. Now only is it funny and interesting, it introduces a very interesting mechanic where Your best operatives often times aren't thrown into every mission.
you should enable humor, cause I was totally about to give it 5 stars for humor. your music and description make it hilarious. All in all pretty simple and awesome. Difficult for sure. I would have liked to see a little more for the art of the click-able squares than just a white square, maybe a little animation or something, but they definitely didn't look bad. Good job!
I really enjoy how easy this game is to understand. Within a few moments, I was able to easily understand what implications my actions had made, and was able to pick up the pace of my play quickly. Overall, it was a fun, tense experience, though the lack of sound effects left it lacking just a bit. Not a lot of humor, but I really don't think that held it back at all from being an enjoyable game.
I really love the colors with this game. The way they shift and move is really entertaining to watch. The pink tile is a bit hard to find, however
It was a really interesting concept, but I couldn't get past the first few tiles without my browser crashing :c
Great idea guys! I gave you 5 stars for innovation and humor because this was a really neat idea that definitely isn't the first thing that comes to mind when I think "game on one screen". Like someone else said, not your average cookie cutter game. Also this may have been one of the funniest games from the jam so far. Great idea, solidly executed, good job!
Really great! I loved the concept, 5/5 for theme, your volume slider nob was really cool too. I wanted the numpad thing to be more obvious, i couldn't figure it out at first. The concept of the TV's was really awesome though.
I really like it, but I don't really see much of a connection with the theme. I also hit a bug at one point by hitting the corner of a block, my player froze and continued right until he hit something and died. Good work though, I love the idea of the collectables.
I BEAT IT! Super fun an interesting. Mechanics were solid. I was going to say that I didn't like how you could get stuck between a bullet and the ball, but then I found out you could shoot the bullets and that you had made a mechanic to solve that issue. Well done!
Hey, We made a visual novel, too! We went a very different direction with it though, with more of a 90's cartoon style. You have really got the genre down, it seems. This was our first one, so ours was rough around the edges. I loved your art and animations, and you had loads of content. Very clean. Coming from just writing one myself, I am impressed. Good job!
The environment and character are were amazing, I was super impressed. the gameplay was very fun, but it was a bit buggy. after I died, I was on my second try, and I was unable to shapeshift, I couldn't do any damage to the enemies, and my gui didn't show any of the damage I had taken. Eventually I died, and I couldn't restart, I just had to exit the game. Also, I don't know if this was a bug, but I was able to rotate my camera 360 degrees in all directions, which seems a bit odd in a first person game, albeit funny because I was fighting dudes while I was upside down. I suggest locking the camera angle on the vertical axis. One final nitpick I had was that the shadow cast by my character was clearly just an arm and a floating cylinder. I know you guys probably spent forever on all that gorgeous art, but I would suggest making some sort of quick and dirty, untextured model or something so that the shadow didn't look so out of place. All that said, it was a great concept and you pulled it off fairly well. I hope you find my criticism constructive, because I really enjoyed your game. Thanks!
The game is awesome! I loved the dynamic between different dudes. The gameplay was one of the best I have played today. and even though the art was all very MSPainty, I really liked that you guys did it yourselves. This game has a lot of content, you should be proud!
This was really funny, and fit the theme very nicely. I thought that the dynamics between the different regions and managing your ratings was the best part. Your weakest part was probably your audio, but even that fit the game and added to the overall feel. Great job on the gameplay, this was awesome. :)
