Really nice game! Felt well, levels are hard but doable ;)
Nice game. Very good presentation and sound ambience.
The mechanics were interesting but I got stuck rather early without an idea of crossing the chasm above without hitting the head below. :)
very nice game!
Thank you all ever so much for your fantastic comments. I assure you we will take the time to look at all your games in return, as a gesture of goodwill. For those of you stuck; I have prepared a walkthrough on youtube. I won't post a link, that'll help you cheat all too much. :P Search for the user "Theclichename" on youtube, it's amongst their uploads! ;)
Nice entry, good graphics & great gameplay :D
Not very innovative, but overall it's a well-done game! The audio part is a bit weak. Stuck at level 8 XD
Interesting gameplay twist and a lot of content for a game jam game. What I don't like is that sliding after a jump (I hope you know what I mean :D).
Neat! I thought it was a cleaver little puzzle platformer. I like that the levels get more challenging as you progress. Plus it has cute graphics, sounds and music to give it retro feel. Cool stuff overall.
Good work, simple but efficient. Some parts are quite the challenge. nice music, very relaxing.
Only problem I found, is that the surface girl has some lag compared with the one below, and sometimes I die because of it. And maybe you should add a sound or visual notification when one of the two girls arrived safely to the end :D
Very nice game, I appreciate the amount of time you must have taken in designing the levels to be difficult, yet achievable.
You sure slide for a while before coming to a stop.
Some clever puzzle design to complement the main mechanic of controlling two characters, graphics are cute.
Very hard levels, but so cute characters and beautiful style. Didn't experience any sound lag in the web version.
Great idea and nicely polished music/graphics. The puzzles are fun and there's a lot of content here.
The sound of jumping is god awful though, and I feel the controls need more polishing (less sliding, faster acceleration... just more precision)
Thank you all for your honest comments, it's great to see you all enjoying the game!
I'll let you in on a secret - the sound was my own voice just edited in various ways in Audacity; time is money, so they say! :)
While creating the game we made the low friction (sliding) intentionally, it allowed some leniency on certain puzzles, but it does in turn make it more difficult on intricate levels such as level 16.
Should we make a Post-LD version we will certainly take all of your comments on board. Thanks! :)
Innovative concept, but sometimes controls felt a bit off :/
Very cool game. Have to admit I didn't get very far, I'll have to come back to this one. One bit of criticism: the jump sound is kind of anoying
Very interesting concept. Nice challenging puzzle platformer. Some of the levels felt really hard. Well presented overall package. Nice work!
The level 5 is so hard, and when I saw that it is was on easy mode.... ¬¬ I'm so noob xP... Great co-op concept, and goob job with level design process, it is not so easy do this in so little time. This soundtrack remember me SimCity, don't you?
Played through the whole thing. Had a little trouble with level 11 (jar) where sometimes when the lower char would fall to the lava the game would crash. Eventually got past it though.
Extremely well done on the balancing. A little punishing when you'd get almost to the end of the longer puzzles and then have to restart, but that just makes my satisfaction at finishing the game that much better.
Thank you BadgerPriest for playing the full game! We appreciate the time taken to enjoy it to the full. I'd like to ask if you have the capability to record the crash occuring, I cannot seem to reproduce the crash.
Got some kind of a visual studio runtime error at level 11 after a lot of tries, and decided to call it a day. Might have been the same error that BadgerPriest mentioned. Running X64 Windows 7 Ultimate.
I liked the idea of controlling two separate entities, but I did not like the platforming aspect of it (I don't like platforming in general though...). Sometimes, for some reason, only one of the characters would jump when I pressed the jump key. And on level eight I had to check the tutorial to confirm that those jumps were indeed possible. The graphics were also somewhat too small. It took me way too long to realize that the spikes mentioned were those small toothpicks on the walls.

nice entry! the graphics are great and the game play is pretty smooth
Really nice. Cool concept
Really nice. Cool concept. Liked the designs of the puzzles.
Very awesome gameplay, the mechanics are really well done, the puzzles are very good, a little hard in the beginning, I mean, like on the second or third level it's already asking me not to get too close by like a pixel, but overall it's very awesome. Well done for a very short time.
Only thing I'd change is the jump sound, and maybe have two different characters, or clothing or something. The rest is awesome, good job.
Impressive platform game with loads of levels! Collision was a bit wonky sometimes, and the physics were a bit slide-y, making it harder to get jumps right, but I played through and beat all of the levels in the end. Nice work!
Anssi@MooseflyGames - sorry that the game wasn't quite the experience you would enjoy. Thanks for letting me know about the error. What actions did you take before the error occurred?
To everyone else, thanks you ever so much for your motivational and positive comments! We're thankful for the feedback, overall as it stands we feel the game might be a little too hard, the controls too 'slippery' and the jump sound effect is disliked all round; these particular points have been taken on board and will be used if we continue to develop this game. Thanks again! :)
Not very innovative but precisely created platformer. Nice graphics too :-)
