Graphicly its a stunning game! The you only get one theme was in there. as one hit would do the trick of murdering you. It was realy fun to play although I din't get to use the upgrade system of that shady dealer in the start as I was loosing nuts and bolts later in the game. Its realy skill based. Audio was well done aswel.
Thanks for the comments! :). One of the bigger inspirations for this game was the movie Groundhog day. Such a classic. We might even add to it in the future. It was a fun project to do and we are both realy pleased at the result ;)
Hehe, Cool to see another game using a TV as a prop. Though totaly different from mine.
The humor was good in this one. The slot machine part of the adventure objective didn't realy pull it off as being a major part of the game. Liked the overall thing though.
Nice game man. The graphical style was good. nice way of introducing tutorials. The teleporter was abit unclear at first. but I got the hang of it afterwards. Sad the dungeon was over already.
Yeah there are 3 known issues. THe gamma on my machine is way up in the sky wich makes it to dark for other PCS(got this from friend feedback), The spikes were lightning before but I flipped something around so they arnt visible. So those are 2 things I cant fix quite fast. The channel not resetting is a bug that I will fix once I get home again. and some typos. Anny feedback is welcome though. It makes this game better at what it is ;).
THinking of adding a small light on the player itself so that you have a feint glow around you so you can see the world. this takes 2 seconds of work and might improve it alitle bit.
You arn't suposed to switch into a wall. Wich means that you will die (Had no solution for the problem being as dead tired as I was. And the hitbox of your character sometimes floats in limbo as it gets stuck on the top side of the tilemap. It should loop you back down (like the left and right looping does) but the colider gets stuck between the top and bottom most solid patch. This requires some extra work but I cant do that for this compo no more. I had quite some feedback so Im going to develop this game abit more to see what I can make of it.
I can unzip it fine. Must be something with your machine :< Try winrar (works for me)
Yeah you are right davient. The coliders of the barbs are 32x32 px width aswel. I bet I could half that and it would function alot better. sometimes you try to edge towards it and still it it whilst there is stil a gap in between. Something I'm going to adjust for sure. Thanks for the feedback everyone. I've been adjusting the game acording to alot of feedback given to see if I can make it better. I also need to work on the physics alot more to make it super responsive. right now I hackjobbed alot of it to make it "resonably playable" for the compo ;).

I loved the hexagonal movement but the roguelike element was abit bland for me. I guess because all of the info was displayed on the right in the unity ui art. This game would be way more fun with different kinds of hexagons and animations with atacking (or more visual feedback). The idea would have potential for a tablet game I believe.
The feeling the game gives is good. The game is hard and the graphics are nice. I personaly did not like the controller of the player. it felt to laggy to be good. You needed to think 0.5 seconds ahead of where your char was when you had to press buttons. But it matches the looks with the trail behind you
Smooth game. Fairly simple but fun none the less. I remembered your name aswel. Your unity tuts helped me get into the program so thanks for that ;)
Lovely entry. Nice and quirky game. Did 4 playtroughs. In the last one I tried to jump solar systems as much as I could but I couldn't figure out landing conditions. kept dying on planets :D. Loved the background music though. Gave off the All alone vibe
I tried to realy realy play it. Facerolled my keyboard to see what happens. But I cant get pas the first two spikes. There is nothing to get me up that shaft. and entering that teleporter gets me to the Level 1 complete part and then nothing happens. Perhaps give more information in your description about controlls because alot of keys seemed to do alot of things but nothing usefull in particular.
A fine game it was albeit a bit buggy. I found that the interface didn't work as intuitive but the overal feel of the game is cool. Impressive work not knowing unity.
Gameplay wise. Not the most intuative. Story and theme wise. The Fucking Shit :P. Loved the folding book idea. Amazing way to tell the story in one screen.
Yeah man. The slowmo when bullets come near you is something realy cool. Might want to look into something like that in the future. Made the game feel way more energetic
Haha laughed my ass off trying to stay on the platforms when they lined up in color.
Other than the fact that there was no actual gameplay. I laughed my head off playing this for a min or 5. Realy wished there was some gameplay attached to this game.
So i finished it till the first angel. Its a nice clicker and it would be even better if you could see some sort of statistics.
Nice version of lemmings. Intresting how you got up with the concepts of each monster and what they do. Felt good.
The mood of this game wasgood. I liked the bilboard art in a 3d world. Felt good to play and it would have been better if there was a more clear objective.

Love the artwork. Specialy the floating brain and the hud graphics (portraits) I missed some feedback sound from the guys shooting. Had no idea they were shooting untill I payed more atention.
Thanks for the feedback. The slider was an indicator of how bright it was. But I decided to make light kill you instantly when you come near white light. Didnt remove the slider.
Also I wanted to add a menu button on the top right to open the menu but I fell short on that.

The polish is amazing. Geting the hang of the gameplay was abit hard at start with no directions but after that it was prety good to play it. (I had the idea i was controlling the hero constantly)

Haha the idea of the game is hilarious, Loved the way the character moved in the over world. Felt realy smooth.
The coloring of the game looked realy nice and would be even better if the terain shapes wern't to jagged at some places. I had no idea of what my objective was in the game so I ran around for 5 minutes and left
What other say is true. The gameplay side lacks diversity. However the graphics and animations are amazing.
Have to say. The good part about it is I wanted to continue to play it and I think you could improve on the feedback towards the player. I had no idea when a character agroed me and everything was rather sudden. I like the idea of a possesion mechanic and it would be better if you could do it troughout the game. I read that you only had so little time so thats why.
