confused
Took some time to understand what was happening. There's no feedback that something's going on early in the game when you're zoomed in. So it's hard to get a grasp on what to do. But it's pretty.
I must agree with DugelStudios, I have no Idea what happened there.
Had low FPS, had issues understanding what was going on early on. Idea is interesting, but execution leaves you confused (coupled with lag). It also lacks basic sound. These issues can be solved though
It is pretty though.
Needed some sort of clearer tutorial and better FPS, but was very pretty. I liked the concept even if I couldn't understand what was going on.
thx 4 the input. you are probably right.
i agree on the confusion-issue. we, the developers found it funny to just "throw you in" and let the player explore what is happening. but maybe we could provide some basic info-overlay showing your speed, distance to planet etc.... maybe a motion blur on the "player" would help to understand the movement. sound should be added to indicate asteroid collistion etc... we just didnt have time for that.
fps is an issue, but i fear it is hardly solvable since this is a very basic implementation with a lot of particles being computed on the cpu.
Interesting idea, but I have no idea how to play the game correctly. For me the best way seems to start the game and to do nothing at all, I got 1615935 and it would probably still go up if I hadn't fiddled with the controls.
I stopped at maybe 11,028,983 and didn’t really understand what was going on. I got the “don’t touch the Sun” part, but after a while the game zooms so much that the only thing I can see is a huge pink line from my planet’s surface… confusing. It was kinda fun, though :)
