LD26 — Minimalism

imy by Ditto 2013-06-30T16:24:00

I'm a Linux user and can't run the game. Even wine couldn't make it run. Please use some multiplatform tool next time! When you develop a windows-only software, you obligate your user to purchase the windows thing. And the money is not the problem, the goal is about freedom and break the chains of the microsoft slavery.

Great design, programming, music and sound. The best game I played in Ludum Dare 26 until now.

I'm a Linux user and can't run the game. Even wine couldn't make it run. Unity player can run under windows and OSX, but not Linux. Please use a more multiplatform tool next time! When you develop a windows-only software, you obligate your user to purchase the windows thing. And the money is not the problem, the goal is about freedom and break the chains of the microsoft/apple slavery.

LOOP by vandriver 2013-06-23T17:21:00

Great work. Great design, programming, graphics, music, sound... The only con is the limited (maybe inexistent) adequation to the theme.

LD27 — 10 Seconds

The First Odyssey by davisan 2013-08-27T02:21:00

Very good! Great design and implementation. And long! I could not even reach the end! But I'll make a few more attempts.

Kendog by Koga SilverDragon 2013-08-29T03:17:00

Excellent, great graphics, music, sound and innovative mechanics. Gave me some ideas, I think a couple more kinds of moves would make the game yet more interesting.

Pleading Rain by Brassawiking 2013-08-31T15:19:00

Great design. I think this unusual design could require more time for development. Great work anyway.

Chicken Snatch by tigerj 2013-08-31T12:26:00

Great game, man. An idea: if the height of the jump could be controlled keeping the space pressed, you could have short or long jumps and it would improve the gameplay.

Fireman Ten by Zccc 2013-08-30T01:04:00

I'm sad because I can't run the game in my Linux computer...

RUNTRIS by sgehlich 2013-09-01T14:50:00

Awesome! Great design, graphics and playability. Of course starting easy and slowly raising the difficulty would be better.

Precious10 by Vico 2013-08-27T02:25:00

Good! But you could make some jewel that extends the time. Just 10 seconds is too short.

PROBE TEAM by Andrew Shouldice 2013-09-22T13:48:00

There is a bug that makes the fuel performance dependant on your computer performance. The slower is the computer, less far you can go, the faster is the computer, more far you can go. You must fix this to make the game fair playable at any computer.

PYRAM1D by CogentInvalid 2013-08-26T04:02:00

I felt happy because I found a game with a Linux version, but I got the error "main.lua:55 attempt to call field 'newPixelEffect (a nil value)'". Some tips?

10 Second Hero by Diogo Muller 2013-08-31T12:45:00

Hey guys, I tested under Linux Ubuntu 11.10 32-bit, but got the message "Impossible to execute the binary file". It's hard to be multiplatform with these ms things, maybe next time you can try a more multiplatform tool, like unit or even web/javascript for web games.
If you want more testing with the Linux version just message me and I will be glad to help.

Kill ALL Saucers by idiotcoder 2013-08-26T03:27:00

Great work man! I really like it. But you should start more easy and raise the difficult more slowly...
Got additional bonus for making it multiplatform (web).

Hunger Clock, Literally by Vaughn 2013-08-26T04:47:00

Very good. You must continue and improve this game, it could make success in the mobile market. You got an additional bonus for made it pure javascript so it can run in any platform.

Antidote by Antidote 2013-08-31T12:04:00

Great design, graphics, music, sound, and programming. The best game I played on this Ludum Dare.

10 SECONDS by Dark Acre Jack 2013-08-26T10:14:00

Great idea and implementation. You got an extra bonus to take the care of exporting standalones for OSX and Linux. Almost all Unity guys forget to do it. I run the Linux version and it works!

10sShmup by rzfmzn 2013-08-27T23:04:00

Very difficult, but coherent with the theme. Use of expressions was a great idea, because feels like the game communicates with the player through a human way. This concept could be used in many other kind of games. Congratulations!

The Parameters Have Been Altered by wbobeirne 2013-09-01T15:21:00

Good design, graphics and sound. But the difficulty is too high, it should start easy and slowly turning more difficult.

Defense of the Zorion by RobProductions 2013-08-30T01:49:00

Great work, man! Minimalist graphics is a great strategy to get a 3D game in time for a Ludum Dare. Great sound and gameplay too. Congratulations!

LD45 — Start with nothing

Cradle of the void by notime4games 2019-10-26T02:38:40Z

Brilliant design. You could improve the graphics, sound and music a little bit, but I gave you the best score of the games I evaluated. Great idea, well done.

EEPROM by bentglasstube 2019-10-16T02:41:16Z

Very good game, congratulations. Maybe not programmers doesn't like it, but I loved. Pay attention to the notes of @notgreat , he made an excellent review in his post.

Aggressive Realtor by Pete 2019-10-27T16:41:45Z

Pretty inovative, great job. Of course the graphics could be improved, but the most important thing you could do to gameplay would be some kind of drawback the player should handle. Also you could add one (or more) "computer players" competing with the player.

Build Or Die by pkenney 2019-10-27T02:13:10Z

I loved the game. The design and gameplay are excellent. It's a pity that it have no sound. I agree with @rollersteaam that a minimap would be good.

Red Vs Green by Flying Cat of the Pepes 2019-10-17T02:46:10Z

Very good! Good design, graphics and sound. Surely worths to invest on improving it.

Homie The Homeless by KekkoDude 2019-10-08T02:55:42Z

Great take on theme, nice stylized graphics. Music is nice, the mood is very good. Playability can be improved, the arrows minigame can be replaced for an exploration game style.

Island of the Coconut Spirit by candlesan 2019-10-20T02:08:05Z

Very good game! So fun and so polished! To improve it, I miss some kind of enemy, that could reduce your devotion, or eat your coconuts, etc.

Doors by N4tticus 2019-10-18T23:19:58Z

Very good game! I believe the main point to improve is the difficulty curve. It should start more slow, letting the player the chance to play with the mechanics. I also liked the raw javascript style.

...and to Nothingness Return by philomory 2019-10-20T18:03:47Z

Very fun! And really long for a jam game. Great take on the theme. Is there a way to run in full screen?

LD45_PickUpTheSword by NickyKendy 2019-10-13T13:05:11Z

Interesting game. I liked the care you had to teach the player with the NPC. Of course you can improve some things. The player can move faster. But it's a good start, you can invest and turn it a large game.

Build Yourself by lilkrit 2019-10-27T02:39:12Z

Very good. It's a lot of content for a compo game. To improve, I felt a bad performance in a low-end notebook.

Angry Words by Madbeagle 2019-10-27T20:34:27Z

Excellent. You got 5 stars in several categories. The background is nice, graphics polished. To improve, the music is a bit annoying.

Crystallian by Untitled Studios 2019-10-25T03:08:05Z

Excellent design. The game is not adherent to the theme, but is very good. I like the soundtrack too.

Dayunisi Builds the World! by niterich 2019-10-25T03:24:13Z

Good game, there is a pity you couldn't finish it in time. You can train your pixel art a bit more, but the music is very good.

Floatblox by Rewzu 2019-10-24T02:03:30Z

Nice concept. Feels like an air minecraft: minecraft + toe jam earl + super mario galaxy. For improve: 1 - the build UI is not that intuitive; 2 - should be some feedback when you hit something.

Space Cell by CiaranW 2019-10-13T21:41:47Z

I like the game, surely has a lot of potential. What could be improved: 1 - The difficulty curve can be smoothier, to give time for the player learn to play; 2 - I agree with @kekkodude, the view should be larger (all the screen elements could be smaller).

Space Shooter by notgreat 2019-10-17T02:16:18Z

Good concept, promising. I'm not sure if the one-a-one is the way to go, maybe a shooter or exploration style could explore better this idea.

A Dream of Wings by Lumos 2019-10-20T22:16:48Z

I like it. Althought the graphics looks cheap at the first glance, the final effect is good. The plot is very good, congratulations. To say something to improve, I felt the "bracking" of the player very unpleasant, you could safely remove it.

Space Office by Celdur 2019-10-12T02:01:30Z

Great work, nice take on the theme, concept, graphics, humor. Of course it can be polished, it's a jam game. You should extend and polish the game, put this in the market.

TikTok Simulator by AljosaCT 2019-10-27T20:07:54Z

I was stuck :( in this screen: tiktoksimulator.png

Substructure by Mateusz Wojtkowski 2019-10-18T23:37:49Z

Very good start, it worths to continue the development. Maybe you can put a full text adventure inside that virtual computer.

Slime Slayer by ZachZ 2019-10-27T03:16:38Z

The scenery is nice, starting from space, then sky, then ground. I felt the gravity of jump too strong, a slow jump would be more pleasant, like classics Super Mario or Sonic.

Tightrope Gauntlet by Jonno 2019-10-19T22:37:47Z

Good game, innovative playability. I can't point any failures, now you can focus in add more content to extend it.

Medium-Sized Field Simulator 2019 by RoboDoig 2019-10-09T02:43:18Z

Very good, it worths to polish and launch.
