Super interesting game! I really enjoyed the style and definitely felt like, given more time, it could be fleshed out into a full title. The balance felt a little bit off -- it seemed like it didn't make sense to work Construction given you could beg 4-5 times with 15 health and make 3-4 times as much as you would working construction. Fun game!

@stefanie-leitch Thanks, I greatly appreciate your feedback! You're dead on about construction work being a bit of a trap right now. Having a STR check for something extra, maybe even an additional XP point, might be what's needed to bring it up to par.

I know it would actually be unnecessary extra work, but it would go so well with the game if the last level was a Spaceship Dogfight as you imagined it to be. The atmosphere is the strongest part of the game. The gameplay loop is nice and inviting to play, but it's not really varied. Although the dialogues are fabulously written, I often just clicked the conversation boxes away so as not to disturb the flow of the game. Many elements in your game I like very much, but unfortunately they stand in each other's way. P.S. Awsome War Universe

I loved the style of the game, though i felt a bit lost at the start. I loved the mood but eventually it became a bit repetitive with the beg-grind. Having multiple endings was a bit cool though. Having more substance to the endings would definitely made the experience more fulfilling than a simple end screen, but i liked it for what it is, especially considering the time constraints. Would love to see maybe a more fleshed out version in the future.
I like it. Althought the graphics looks cheap at the first glance, the final effect is good. The plot is very good, congratulations. To say something to improve, I felt the "bracking" of the player very unpleasant, you could safely remove it.

@rodrigo-robles Thanks! Interesting to hear a negative opinion about the character's "slipperiness", I put it in deliberately -- it just _felt_ right at the time. :)
Nice game! A bit hard to start though, because you get rejected in most places you go :) but it works really well with the theme (and also mirrors the real world). Good job! :D
I really enjoyed it. Even the simple and drab graphics fit the mood well here.
It felt strange to me that, as far as earning experience went, begging was more profitable (and as such also more time-efficient) than construction work. Provided you were not very unlucky, you would always earn 3 or even 4 experience for the same health price that would earn you 2 experience in construction work. But I guess you do gain life experience faster "on the streets."
Another example that graphical coherence is a good way to tell a story, than realistic graphics.

@fabula-rasa Well, in truth this is more likely due to me buffing begging at the last minute to make the start of the game easier than it initially was. Begging used to be objectively worse than construction work. Funnily enough, I also buffed construction work at the same time, but that might not have been quite sufficient... :P

The mood was awesome, a totally unique take on the concept.
I really enjoyed the story, and the mechanics were well done. It perhaps got a little repetitive after a while, and begging still felt like a better option than working, but I achieved a couple different endings and still enjoyed the game. Congrats!
