nice job!
Crazy and chaotic indeed but I like the humor :D
Chaotic indeed, but I still felt like I was in control. The upgrades are nice, and I like that you provided a tutorial level to get started.
Fun game. Couldn't figure some stuff out at first. Something might be off with your jump sound. It sounds kinda "wrong". I overlooked the small black text to buy things at first, too. However, it's quite an enjoyable. Great job!
Funny game, but pretty annoying sound effects.. (:
Brilliant little game! I had a lot of fun with it. The only let-down is the annoying jump-noise, but it's not a big problem. Good work!
With such a dynamic arena, I think a different means of navigation is called for - a rocket boost would fit the theme. Also, the jump noise is all kinds of annoying. Also, I got stuck on my first attempt at the tutorial. On the bright side, I like what you did with the planets, and the enemies are varied and interesting. There's potential here, but it needs a bit more polish.
Interesting idea that fits the theme. I liked to explore the game and to learn what everything does. Some of the sound effects could use some more work and I don't understand way there is an explosion when the potato leaves the screen.
The humor's good. My main issue with the game has to be the sound, though. Each one jump emits several identical sound effects, which drive me up the wall, and they don't stop if you hold down the jump key.
Nice idea. The rotating world is nice, and the games is quite challenging too! I like how the first level is a mandatory tutorial - I wouldn't have understood the "shop" mechanic without it!
Congrats!
Don't worry with all the hate on your Newgrounds page.
I'm a developer myself, so I know what you're going through, and congrats on your first LUDUMDARE! :D
The game itself is pretty neat, has me playing for a while testing out the mechanics.
Another thing, all those hate comments, don't you realise they are more detailed than the non-hate comments, which mean they spent a lot of time playing your game to figure out all those bugs and errors! Good job!!!
I don't really understand half of what is going on in this game, but I can't help but be entertained. There is something about being a potato and collecting potato dollars that I can't help but love. Well done!
Chaos is often a bad choice for video games. This is the case here in your level design. It's very hard to understand where to go, and why you should go. Try to add some basic goals and non-randomized paths to have a real impact on player experience.
The idea is quite interesting though.
The jumping sound gets a bit annoying, but overall nice game.
Nice little game!
The tutorial was good to explain the basic mechanics.
The game itself was a bit easy, chaotic as advertised, and fun.
Interesting with the rotating platform, but I didn't understand where to go and what to do. The graphics are nice, but the sounds are pretty awful.
Nice game, a bit complicated to understand,I like the idea though. Good job!!
funny potato! =)
When the game starts everything is turning and lots of things are happening lol. I loved the sense of scale in a kind of free to explore platform world. I also liked that it didnt take itself to seriously :) Kinda a cross between Hohokum and Supermeat boy and superfrog with a potato thrown in for good measure. Nice work!

It was a funny experiment and the tutorial was a nice touch in the beginning to explain the basics. I missed a good soundtrack that fits this game, but the sound effects were good.
