It's interesting, but at one point the screen went white.
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → Users → Uhfgood

Pretty hard but at around "T" I figured it was taking too much time for me.
Like something I would have played on an atari 2600 of course with 2600 graphics -- sound was almost spot on ;-)
I had a plan for this, but when I couldn't get the time to finish it, I decided to let you figure out how to interact with what I did have, this is why I don't have anything in the journal. You can interact with it and it is to do with the keyboard.
thanks!
goerp - hmm not really sure if it's because I used a binary copy or if since I downloaded a win64 installer the love exe is actually 64bit
If you can get love though you can play the linux/osx version since that's simply the .love file
Frankly while I understood the minimal aspect of it, I couldn't really "get" it. I just had to keep my mouse button down and stay flying. Got old quick. The audio became annoying.
I probably sound like a jerk too... it's okay you can rate my whole game poorly if you like, because mine sucks. :-)
Nice job, minimal interaction, and minimal graphics. And fun
Pretty good, however, I couldn't really get past the second level without my arms
It was a little weird to play, and I didn't know half of what I was doing.
Not that great, but not bad either.
This seems like a good prototype, you should develop it further.
I kind of couldn't tell what I was doing
Pretty interesting, although, need to work on the jumping mechanics. Specifically trying to get to another platform. Maybe let there be a leading off of and on to the platforms so you don't immediately fall. I found myself tending to keep the x down the whole time, so maybe modification of that too. Pretty well done for a 2 day game, maybe you should consider polishing it and releasing it publicly (either for pay or for free).
Diabolical! Haha, great entry.
Had trouble with level 5 -- not sure why but i got stuck there, otherwise good job!
That was neat, a bit tricky to gain control (meaning how long it took me to sync up my hand-eye coordination) -- Well done. Assuming it doesn't have levels you should make them so that I can get to a door instead of just sitting around shooting. I didn't have any motivation to move around.
kept getting stuck in puzzle 9 -- but great work otherwise
I didn't hear any music, however I did hear some sound. It seemed to not play on every option.
Not bad at all.
I suck at the numpad
Pretty interesting way to do it. Added complexity while still attempting to keep it minimalist.
Did not understand.
Pretty slick, I also noticed I was a "student" there ;-)
couldn't get past the one with the 5 alternating red blocks, kind of annoying, but the theme is right on
The music was a bit annoying, but other than that not bad.
Mouse look didn't seem to work in the web version on firefox.
That was pretty interesting, if a bit short. This would have also worked well in the "indirect action" LD (like one of the early ones)
Nice. Simple to play. Fun!
303 second 313 kills!
Well that was kind of gross and weird.
Took a long time to load, couldn't alt-tab out, had to actually hit the windows button, was too slow for me to get it.
It's not technically a game, but more of a toy. Also I think you should start the player out rather easy... make the outline really thick and as he/she progresses make the ring thinner. Add some scoring, otherwise a fairly solid entry.
Very weird.
Interesting concept, however I don't know half of these abbreviations
This is a pretty good example of the theme as well as being pretty polished. Could almost release this publicly as-is (by that I mean to the non-ld crowd). Minimal without feeling like they're reducing it to nothing. Still a complete game. Pretty soothing to play as well. Well done!
Nicely done, although the part in the restroom...
Interesting, but it gets crazy too fast! No need to be disappointed, it's a complete game, and uses the theme well.
You need to keep working on it and release it publicly (meaning non-ld for profit or non) looks fairly polished but the combat could use some work. Should also put in some music. Graphics were pretty sweet.
challenging
Interesting but after a while of wandering around I just quit. Jumping mechanic is quite interesting.
Interesting idea, keep your room minimalist ;-)
same here
Interesting idea. Not a very challenging game, but fun none-the-less.
I got stuck in that 5 square area with the glowing side, I couldn't turn the glowing side all the way down.
I guess I solved it <shrug>
This is probably the best example of minimalism, from the gameplay right down to the graphics. Really simple to play difficult to master. I got stuck though, so I decided to stop playing. Job, well done!
Hilarious. I did kind of wonder what happened behind the censored sign.
That was a bit... odd
Cute, but I wouldn't call it a game.
Quite interesting. Very impressive for a 14 year old. Keep at it.
Reminiscent of Marble Madness, however it was a pain in the butt to control that apple.
interesting
I felt the argument was a little one-sided since I had not seen the whole court case from the beginning.
Interesting way to make a "game". I'm all for things that make me think, but I'm not into things that make me pre-judge people.
That was cute
umm... wut?
Haha! Man that was hard, now my index finger hurts!
Amusing. Good job for your first game. Although I wasn't really sure how it was a game rather than a "tech demo".
One-button game, low res art. Very minimalist. I like it, and also the graphics were pretty great.
This was pretty great for your first time out. (First LD, first completed) -- You seem to have gotten everything in. Also it was funny the way he didn't like clowns. I have to say I must agree with him, all clowns must die!
Amazing. Amazingly bad.
This is pretty cool, it still fully fit in the theme and yet is somewhat complex. I'll have to play it more later. Only problem was, number 2 was killed off, and he was the one that was supposed to be hacking, so need a way to mitigate that, maybe make the others able to do it but at a much slower pace, also bugs should show up when you're hacking, to give that extra element of the clock ticking.
Interesting. One of those infinite runner types (like Canabalt). You should continue to improve it.
3 humor stars for saying it was a flying space potato ;-)
hilarious, it gets crazy
I too, couldn't really see anything happening other than the intelligence go up, by teaching.
Kind of interesting, not really a game like you say though.
I got stuck trying to leave the weapons upgrade screen
Like others, the (one) music track was pretty good. Not really screaming minimalism to me, but fun none-the-less
Once I got the hang of it, that was kind of interesting. Too bad you didn't put in more levels. You should work on this some more and enter it into the October challenge!
Not a game here.
Excellent. Although I'm sort of stuck on i think level 4 or something.
That was great. Managed to do a full on point'n'click (okay hunt'n'peck keyboard) adventure, as minimally as possible. And I agree with others, the colored poly shapes is preferable to plain boxes, and black and white. Also like others you should have added sound. Well done!
Not really getting this one. Like others have pointed out. Hitting 'z' produces a snare drum sound, and it doesn't always do it. I was hoping pressing it while keeping to the rhythm would work but it didn't really do anything
It was a bit hard to control. Kudos for putting in Potatoes :-P
Technically speaking, the two "good" endings were surprise endings, considering what you found instead of your bone :-P
The graphics were minimal but the game play wasn't so much.
Well done, nice way to be minimalistic. Even though the blurring was interesting, it just looked like someone smeared Vaseline over my screen.
Wow that was the most annoying thing I've ever played. Well done!
pretty unique. You're right you can screw yourself, but it's pretty fun
This makes me lol
I didn't see the live stream. It was interesting, but I was never any good at multiplayer games.
Yeah I didn't really know about the colored squares either. But I give this a good rating even if I didn't feel like spending more time with it.
You should have told us how to drop shapes. I almost rated this badly (or not at all) but figured it out eventually. For anyone not in the know, you need to click on a shape above the line to drop it below. You can also drag the shape around to position it properly but still above the line.
I didn't see any shield. It's kind of interesting.
Nice concept, but still needs work in execution.
I second the sounds, but well done, challenging and unique
couldn't run either.
Another infinite runner.
I didn't really figure out the part where he/it Rick-rolls you -- I just kept dying.
