LD26 — Minimalism

Pillow Pets by ChevyRay 2013-04-30T03:48:00

A pretty cool game, it was pretty well polished and fun to play around with. It took me a while to figure out that the animals did feed themselves though, but was enjoyable regardless.

This is an awesome game! It's amazing to see what can be made in 48 hours. Nice work!

Zenbox by drstik 2013-05-04T13:21:00

It's a pretty cool game, I love the music and the looks of the garden, nice work :)

Bridge Crosser by Elemental Zeal Games Studios 2013-05-04T14:05:00

It's a pretty cool game! I loved the music and sounds that played whilst trying to get across the bridge, nice work!

Simple Pleasures by Jarrett 2013-05-04T14:30:00

This game was a ton of fun! Flipping tables to gain airtime was a pretty cool mechanic, although it was difficult to control, but that was part of the fun! Nice work :D

Circular Symphony by cmjd 2013-04-30T05:32:00

Glad to hear that you enjoyed the game! I was hoping that changing the difficulty would be sufficient for changing the experience, but the timing is still fairly random, due to the random circle sizes. I might look at expanding on the idea and either find a way to make the randomness work to create an interesting experience, or just set each circle size individually and turn it into more of a rhythm/skill based game.

Thanks for your feedback everyone! While I was developing this game, I found that I rather liked the relaxing feel of the game, although I'll admit that the randomness of the game kind of threw this off a bit. I didn't want to add stuff tracking progress like scores or streak counters, as I felt that that might throw off the relaxing nature of the game. As it stands it was a bit more of a toy, but a fun one nonetheless. I could definitely turn this into a more polished and focused rhythm game in the future regardless :)

Play The Game by Fervir 2013-04-30T04:42:00

It's an interesting game, there's definitely a ton of content and you can see that plenty of effort was put into the game, great job!

Maximus Minimalist by Alexander 2013-04-30T06:03:00

Fairly interesting, but it was a shame that it wasn't too stable. I had it crash when I got stuck inside pieces and after I got to the end and killed the boss. But setting it to run in windows XP compatibility mode seemed to help (running Windows 8 x64). There were definitely some cool ideas in there though :)

Darkness by LrdKzrth 2013-04-30T04:49:00

As errorage said, putting the game in XP compatibility mode works for windows 8 x64, the game was very atmospheric.

Hmm, the game needed a data folder next to the game file itself, so I can't play it i'm afraid.

Puck Gunners by eedok 2013-04-30T05:40:00

Cool game, definitely needs a controller though, I suppose mouse controls could have been created, but it would have been way less fun and challenging. Good work!

Dream Fishing by Sophie Houlden 2013-04-30T04:29:00

Cool game, I had a bit of fun mucking about with the fishes on the line, and it was a rather soothing game to play :D

esfiera by jukimv1986 2013-05-04T13:06:00

It's a pretty cool experience, it could have used a bit of music, but it was interesting regardless.

Wandering Darkness by Graham Weldon 2013-04-30T07:11:00

Great game! It was a fairly challenging game, but it was fair. The music was pretty great as well, nice work!

Contact: Lost by William Bundy 2013-04-30T06:48:00

A fairly good idea, I kind of wish there was a way to find out what items were in the capsules before picking them up, as I don't know if I walked past anything important, but it was an interesting game regardless. Good job :D
