i like the art style very much, and i have to quote kivifreak on the shake-shake. Good job. :D

i like the art style very much, and i have to quote kivifreak on the shake-shake. Good job. :D
You should really include the dlls needed, here i was missing some as well.
Upsetting that he doesn't understand "LEROOOOOY JENKINS" :D on a serious note, i liked it a lot but i'm bad at playing it, maybe you should give some tips instead of "I don't understand". :P
I love you, is that enough to explain how much i like it? :D
@Edocentrique many many thanks.
@Cy4n1d, @Lifrid, @madmaw thank you :)
@Starspell yeah, font was kind of randomly picked because it had a "spacey" look and it was under Open Font License, i could not afford to "waste" time in being picky :D thanks for the feedback.
We both got the same idea, my concept is similar :D cool beans.
Could not play because although i have a 360 gamepad as soon as i press start to play i get:
Libraries/joystick.lua:47: attempt to index global 'buttonMapping' (a nil value)
Stellar aesthetics! I love you. >_>"
Apparently i'm not good at shooting bunnies x°D good to know. Keep up the good work.
Saw the last few hours of the livestream leading up to this, after i finished my own entry, and i freaking loved it. The sound effects are awesome! :D
Maybe it could have used a bit more speed. Anyhow, loving the graphics.
xgeovanni: i hate you :P
It's a reasonable amount of fun! :D nice.
The perspective on the "crosshair" threw me off a bit at the beginning, maybe an ortographic camera would've suited better, but it's alright and i managed to click 30! :D Hope is good.
A real gentleman desperately needs his tea.
What i didn't like is that the game difficulty derives all together from trial and error, meaning that once you discover (and remember) the route you're done.
Anyways nice entry.
Quill, SkyWolf (or @akaSkyWolf) here. I couldn't be there 'till the end of the stream, but congrats on the great accomplishment. :)
I really dig the art style.
@angelk: it's the one NOT into the "do not open" box.
@Jgpicatoste: it very well might.
I dislike the car being at the center of the screen, although i loved the sound effects.
I rather liked it, only one thing i didn't like, the difficulty was not consistent:
1) medium
2) easy
3) very easy
4) easy
5) hard
...
what's up with that? :P
Yes i came here to say what @KWL_TW said, would have absolutely been a blast.
The concept is a bit "obvious" to me, but then again cool execution.
Very fun and satisfying, i'm not a fan of how the theme was conveyed, but maybe it's just me.
If it was me choosing, i would hand the Ludum Dare straight to you. Well done good sir.
PS: develop it further.
The inspiration from "sortieenmer" is clear, and i like the mood of it.
I like the pixel art in this, nice one.
Nice little Sonic reference. And i love the sounds... Just saying. :P
I very much liked it, the song was catchy too.
The gameplay and the art were phenomenal, congrats my friend.
4Kb, i love you >_>
Can i give you 6 stars for the music? Best music i've heard in LD26 so far.
Challenging, i quite like the concept and i would like to see it taken further.
Penguins that shoot whatever that is, you sir, win the internet :P
As always "the Quillzord" amazes with his capability to deliver FAST. Amazing.
AWESOME GAME! super polished too
probably the concept was too ambitious for a game jam, yet the models are very cute :3
yes, sadly we didn't had much time left for tuning the game better and can be a bit unfair sometimes if monsters spawn too close, we had to keep a <48h limit. Glad you liked it, and found it scary :D
Haha those were supposed to be evil red eyes, not tarts XD but thanks!
Hi mrexcessive! You cannot hurt them but you can throw objects at them to temporarily stun them so use all the furniture at your advantage! You just have to survive until the nightmare phase is gone :)
I'm astonished, i freaking love you and your game.
And i thought we had a good presentation in our game. XD your game is like amazing. For just having 48 hours.
Tight, but kind of ear deafening. :P
Bonus points for cats! XD
I like this idea very much, reminds me of Galcon, but takes it one puzzely step further.
solid entry, digging the mood in the cave part
ha! A little Ikaruga clone! it's a good starting point for something :)
very hard to play, but sounds and looks great. that zoom effect is rad.
seems like someone played Nuclear Throne recently ;) it's still a solid entry, with delicious pixel art. Hard as nail. 4/5!
extremely polished, doesn't even look like a jam entry
quite relaxing, really digging the music :)
It's a solid prototype for a jam, but players should receive more feedback, like how much resources are needed for something and so on. Very nice pixel art. Annoying music.
Quill is always great to watch, very entertaining. Everytime i'm torn between making my own game or watching him make one.
This time i made one, so i came into this one blindly, and i kinda liked it, even if i maybe found it too slow.
Anyways great job as always.
Very original take on theme and very moody. Well executed ;)
I mean, it's not an everyday thing that you can hit a zombie with a caffelatte.
Character moved way too fast tho.
Thanks everybody for the kind comments.
I guess that shooting the fruit in the (fruit-character) direction was a bad design choice because it made it look "imprecise". Maybe it should have "followed" the mouse instead. Lesson learned!
About the intro, it was very fun to make and i'm happy it's funny to listen to. Sorry for that accent, english it's not exactly my native language. xD
@cgmorton yeah, indeed grapes are overpowered, although they are slighty more rare. If i recall the weights correctly.
I like it very much and have very little to criticize about it.
The only thing that i can see changed is that when going forward you have no "sense of movement" due to the plain background.
FIGHT! I love when people put their own voice into a game (and that's why i try to do it myself everytime).
Nice entry overall.
Wait, what? xD
I've got the urge to trash my microwave now. >_>
I'll just say this: you should definitely continue to develop this game.
Oh the potato song made me fall in love.
Hard, very hard. The ship movement could be toned down a bit.
Good entry tho.
That was AMAAAAAAAZING.
This is a really good entry, for the love of God. I can see this becoming a full release.
The Hunger Games of cars. 10/10
Woo. When i opened it i was like: "Wall of text, bail out". Then i got engaged by the story and it was pretty good.
But it is not much of a "game", is it?
Really "mobiley" (that is definitely NOT a word..), fun nonetheless
Oh my God.
It requires hand to hand coordination that i do NOT have. So yeah... It made me rage. But i liked it.
10/10 would kill myself with a boomerang again
I managed to try it because 6 people were online (developer included) and although it has rough edges for sure, it's a nice concept that can be easily expanded.
Nice idea.
Camera movemen could be worked on and that jump was driving me mad, but overall a nice entry
Don't call me Shirley, please!
I dug that music.
I loved the character animation for real. :D
And i hated basic freaking shapes.
Networking is not easy during a jam, and it's not easy to add bots on top of that.
Very nice game and very nice job.
PS: there was another LD multiplayer game, CMDer or something, where i'm pretty sure i've killed you one or two times. :P
Like every Ludum Dare i'm always like: "i wanna do my own entry, but i wanna watch Quill's stream as well".
So i spend my development breaks onto Twitch watching you and your different than mine take on the theme. And you always manage to amaze me.
There is little to say about the game, it's good, very polished and the voiced sound effects are fantastic.
As always i would like to invite you to take a look at my own entry, it would be an honor! :)
I absolutely love this art style. I'm in love.
Great design, i loved that puzzle game vibe. :)
For a man who loves puzzle games, this is, yeah, pretty great.
Good job, maybe the movement was a tad bit too slow for my liking but that's just me. :D
The first time around the camera went ballistic, but it is solid and the graphics are great.
Quill is a great entertainer, i had fun keeping the stream open while completing my entry. The game is great, i don't know much about pinball myself, but it is very fun.
I'm so bad at this, soooo bad.. :D great entry anyway, loved the all around presentation
