A little too simple for a Jam submission but that isn't a valid point of criticism honestly. I think it was pretty fun besides the fairly stiff controls.
Simple game that uses the theme to a good effect! Nice use of limited aesthetics and color too.
Excellent game! Really enjoyed it -- overall top-notch, solid aesthetics and fun gameplay.
I like how this game is one of those rare examples of people making a complex genre like RTS and keeping it minimal. Very nicely done!
Cool concept and an interesting twist to the done-to-death RPG formula. Does fairly stick to the theme,so no complaints in that department.
Solid effort to make it in 4 hours. Love the pirate humor. Scoring it high on that because quite a few lines actually made me laugh. :D
Nice twist to the traditional formula.
Needs more work but still the concept behind it is interesting enough.
Good use of minimalism in terms of visuals and controls. Scoring this high on theme.
Unique concept that goes surprisingly well along with the theme.
Scoring it high on the theme because this seems to be one of the most minimalist games I've come across thus far. Well done.
Extremely good visuals for a game jam and that creates a solid atmosphere for the game. I'd say you did a swell job in that. :D
I love all the hipster-bashing games people are making this LD. Each one of them is more hilarious than the other. :D
Great audio and great use of the theme to construct a game on a simple mechanics. After listening to those tunes, I can't help but dish out a high score for audio. :3
Quite funny probably induced by abducted cows and cute kittens.
Simple game but pretty fun and occasionally a little funny too. :D
Fairly difficult game but still the concept is fairly ambitious for LD and I think you did justice to it.
Minimalism in terms of controls.Good job on that.
The interface reminded me of FTL initially but still a pretty impressive game you built for a game jam.
Simple concept but well conveyed. Giving it top marks for the theme purely because of that!
Simple concept but executed to a really good effect.
Cool idea and I think you did justice to the concept. Pretty fun to play too.
The art-style is really good but I had trouble with the controls. Wish they worked better because the game otherwise seems quite good!
Intelligent puzzles and simple visuals. Scoring this high on theme mostly because you were able to manage that.
Smart use of the theme. Had to read through the instructions twice to get my head around it but it was fun once I got the hang of it. What does the title mean btw?
Props for using Unity for this as it is a perfect fit for the idea you had here. Pretty fun to play too!
Cool mechanic and a fairly fun game to play.
I guess it is pretty obvious you had to rush through at the end but still have to say you did a pretty good job given the time constraints.
Lovely aesthetics that stay true to the theme. Good job!
Stylish and top marks on the aesthetics! Controls take a little getting used to but still a solid effort.
Pretty fun and I like the message. I really liked the minimal children's art which seems apt as a tribute to an artist who worked in similar vein. Could have used more variety but as a game jam effort, nobody will complain on that.
Little weird but it does suit the theme. Loved the audio!
I agree that it does seem to have a little Thirty Flights of Loving feel to it but the atmosphere is extremely well-done. Impressive feat considering it was done in mere 2 days.
Pretty much the most polished game I've played from the lot of LD26. Great job!
Feels a little rushed and incomplete but I still appreciate the ambition which can clearly be seen in the game. :)
Quite funny and it had enjoyable mechanics on top of that, so I'm not complaining. :D
Very unique concept of putting it under an emulator. Props purely for coming up with that! :D
This almost feels like a minimalist "Don't Starve".Still a good job, I must say!
This is such a brilliant idea! Simply amazing.xD
Fairly simple game that stays true to the minimalism theme. Liked how you kept the instructions simple too. Contrasts with mine but oh well, good job anyways.
Love the Old MacDonald Farm's rendition playing at the back. Makes it feel strangely calming almost as if we are the ones actually chasing the sheep.
That is an impressive game to build (particularly the art) in 48/72 hours and the mechanics are quite cool too.
A little weird and while I can't say I liked it, I can appreciate the thought you put behind its concept.
Excellent concept that's both deep and yet not entirely vague. Had a proper dreamy touch to it as well. Loved it!
Innovative but as others have mentioned the controls are an issue even besides the Web version.
Still gotta credit for a unique twist to such an overused idea,
An unusual theme to pick for a visual novel but I think you did a great job with it.
Nice little twist on the theme.
Quite good despite few issues here and there! Suits the theme too.
I made a game along similar lines of the cyclical trap of the daily routine.
@cahman -- It should be fixed now. Sorry about that.
@Musicolor -- Yes. I used a MIDI keyboard, interface and FL Studio to mix and apply filters. Unfortunately I don't have a Mac to test that issue (made it on Windows and exported via Unity). Let me know if the issue persists.
@MazSzalagor @evilseanbot -- It should be working now. Had to disable the Web Player's context menu. Let me know if the issue still persists.
This is executed to near-perfection. Solid job in making such a polished game in 2 days!
Very original concept. I think you can definitely develop this into something proper with more time. Still, given the 48-hour constraint, you did it quite well IMO.
Pretty fun.A little challenging but I still ended up enjoying it.
Weird graphics but I still liked the idea behind it. For 48hrs, I think you did a fairly decent job. :)
Feels a little incomplete but still a cool mechanic and considering the time constraints of 2 days I cannot really complain about that. Good job nonetheless! :)
Smart idea and engaging gameplay to back it up. A job well done!
Pretty hilarious at times! I'm scoring this high on humor because it actually made me LOL-out a number of times. :D
Some great aesthetics here and one can see you've definitely put a lot of work there. Some issues aside,I think it's a solid effort.
Mechanics particularly the controls feel a little slow but besides that the game is good fun!
Like others have mentioned, I was stuck by the ambition that you came up with this in 2days. Great effort and I'd say it's the funniest game I've come across in this LD thus far. Cheers!
Excellent concept and I agree with others that this could be developed into a proper idea.
Fast and a really enjoyable game. I know which field is getting the max rating from me. A little more variety could have helped but again this being made in 2 days is impressive enough.
A little difficult to wrap the head around but once I got the hang of it, twas pretty fun. :D
It's a little prone to issues. Had trouble booting it up.
Fun game. Particularly liked the aesthetics of the game.
A little buggy but I love the overblown and colorful visuals!
Cool idea and I think you executed it fairly well.
Loving the abstract visuals even if I have a hard time wrapping my head around what exactly is going on.
Interesting concept although I didn't find it fun to play, I can still appreciate the idea behind it
Pretty simple game, nothing unique but still fairly fun enough to play.
Innovative idea and I think you executed it pretty well. Definitely scoring high on innovation purely because of its concept.
While parts of it could be better conveyed, I still liked it particularly the visual aesthetics. Pretty unique compared to what I've seen in this LD thus far.
Would have hoped for a better art style. I know minimalism is this but a lot of games I've played in this LD seem happy with this. Despite that, I think the central mechanic was fun and was used in a manner which justified it. Good job!
Well-executed game from an interesting idea. I kinda liked the visuals -- a little eerie strangely to me.
Quite challenging and despite a slightly inconsistent collision detection, I think I can say that I enjoyed this game quite a bit. Maybe, it's the visuals! xD
Fairly simple fun but I'm not complaining considering it was just developed in 4 hours.
Some good music here and I like the exploration element you have integrated into the game! xD
Kudos to you for writing it in a batch. The game is pretty fun and hell nothing can be more minimalistic than batch and ASCII characters. :D
Interesting twist to the traditionally overused genre. Pretty fun to play too.
Cool concept so it definitely scores high on innovation in my book. Could have asked for a slightly smaller Win State but that isn't really a complaint now,is it? :3
Every game that mentions potatoes is a win! :D
Toys with player's mind. I'm a sucker for psychological elements in games,so needless to say I really enjoyed this!
Perfect for the theme but it's a little too limiting. Still you get the message through to the player quite well.
Few problems aside, it stays true to the theme quite admirably!
Unique and most importantly fun while staying true to the theme. Really enjoyed it!
I enjoyed the audio and the general soothing aesthetics of the game. Props on keeping it simple too!
Soothing aesthetics and fairly minimal mechanics make this a proper LD game true to its theme. :)
Few issues with controls aside,I think I really enjoyed this entry. Props for the excellent music!
Besides the nitpick which others mentioned about the non-looping of music, I think this was a really good example of staying true to the theme. Well done,I say.
Great use of the theme and while it was challenging, I gotta score you high on innovation because of the concept.
Pretty cool. Particularly impressive were the graphics which you managed to create within 48 hours. Good job! :)
Love the retro graphics which are minimal enough to work with the theme. Pretty fun game on top of it too!
Interesting. I like how the controls and general visual aesthetics reflect the simplicity of the theme.
Brilliant atmosphere and it almost reminded me of Amnesia. No better praise I can think besides that.
What a ridiculously fun game. Solid humor and I liked the art too.
I like the music and sound effects. Mouse is a little clunky to control with but besides that I'd chart this up as a good effort!
Creates a good feel of the city.Could do some more work but I'd say it's pretty solid.
Very unique take on a genre mash-up and I think it resulted in a fun game. Good job with the aesthetics too -- stays true to the theme.
Simple game that does go really well with the theme. A little visually disorienting but I guess that's just me.
Good fun and I'm enjoying potatoes finding their way into so many games this LD! :P
One of the best use of themes in this LD that I've seen. Tension and narrative is conveyed with very little use of words and visuals. Great job!
The moment I saw it's name and the attached screenshot I knew this was going to be fun. And it was! xD
Brilliant concept. Absolutely loved it. Stays true to the theme while making you think! Great job, sir!
I'll give this an additional point for daring to make it in Matlab. Very innovative concept.
Pretty hilarious! The ending in particular caught me by surprise.
Definitely not an easy game to play but I think you did a great job staying true to the theme.
The concept is interesting and I cannot disagree that the manner in which you executed it suits the theme too.
Pretty cool puzzle game if only a tad bit too tough once you get past the 3/4th mark. Still a good job, fellow first-timer! xD
Minimalist controls and the story is pretty cute. :3
Pretty funny and the art style is solid.
Pretty decent,fellow first-timer! :)
I think you did a good job sticking to the theme and I think the lack of sound added to that fact.
Definitely on of the unique ideas floating around in this LD. Giving you high on innovation purely because of that concept. Equally good job on the audio! :D
Smart game and I must say it's a solid effort in terms of design and polish for a game jam.
Are you sure the Web version you've submitted is the complete version? There is nothing to attack and the background just ends in darkness after a while and the music stops playing. :/
Some great music there and quality content which is impressive considering you came up with this within 48hrs!
Colourful graphics that still go well in line with the theme and a pretty fun game on top of that. I'd say you did a swell job making this in 2 days.
Fairly well in line with the theme and despite slight bugs here and there, I still liked the idea behind the game. Good effort!
A few minor issues aside, it is a simple but really fun game.
Good to see a game revolving around a different concept. Got some heavy 1984 vibes from this. Kudos to you for making such a game for LD.
Really liked this and I think you executed it quite well and did fair justice to the concept. Good job!
The humor is solid and I liked that despite it's short length you managed to squeeze in more than a few endings!
Excellent game here. Solid art style, fun mechanics -- what can I ask for more? Great job!
Honestly, it isn't the most fun to play but having worked in Unity, I can see you made good use of the lighting, so props to you for doing that.
Pretty fun game although I found the challenge a little frustrating.
Interesting simplication of a fairly complex genre. Could use some work in the sense of difficulty balancing but still it's a lot of fun for a game made during LD.
Excellent art-style and it shows in the graphics. Creates a completely different mood and it's easy to tell that a lot of effort went into this.
Could have used more challenge and variety but despite that it is a pretty neat and fun game.
Cute game with some really charming aesthetics.
Intriguing game. Liked the simplistic concept which goes along quite well with the theme IMO.
Nice philosophical theme and I think the gameplay does complement that.
Great aesthetics -- both visual and audio even if it gets a little difficult to play.
Solid graphics and it is a pretty neat idea to implement in a game jam. Reminds me of a couple of games but only in a positive manner. :)
Excellent concept with a philosophical edge to it and the game is damn fun to play once you figure it out.
Cool if a slightly short concept but being in LD48, I can't complain about that.
