I hit a bug where the map flashed on either side of the yellow line. The controls are not refined.

As you said unfinished. Interesting concept.
So the food can spawn at 1 pixel on screen. That bug makes it hard to find sometimes.
Got to generation 22, very laid back chill game. I like.
Leebo86 - I may have had the window size too small. I'd see a bouncing line or flashing line sometimes, with most of the "food" off screen.
Leebo86 - You just confirmed it was a problem on my side, I didn't full screen the window. I assumed the game scaled with window size. So not a bug, but user error.
This needs a little more of a guide. I'm confused as to what potion does what to my colony.
Dude, we've all been there, rm the wrong directory and everything goes to heck. I admire you for sticking it out, I would have thrown in the towel.
Yes, the feature that would have helped more than anything was the annual fair. Just didn't have time to work that out.
The music can be turned off by clicking the BG Music label in the status bar.
As for the money, yes I probably should have had multiple modes with the allowance and done something different with it.
bobiniki - just be glad I left the puns and jokes in source, they were baaaad.
Kevin - try right clicking on a sheep.
Buttercup - I appreciate your feedback.
Rabbits - you can keep playing after the scoring.
Kayelgee-
There's some great design notes in your feedback, thank you.
Not bad, high score of 2620.
Low score of 50.
When mom was there I couldn't do anything on the list of prepare a meal. She did nothing for me that I could tell.
Yeah, no journal or link. :(
Generation 11 - 73700
Interesting... Although world wrapping would have made it far more interesting to play.
There are a couple of bugs, I stopped shrinking and the first movement was at much faster speed. That said this was different and cute.
tcstyle - both. I stopped shrinking from generation to generation and from contact.
And after absorbing lots of brown and black stuff, I would start a round going up and move quickly. When I then went down I would slow down.
I was hoping to play this, it won't run though. Probably due to the virtual machine.
Took a minute to figure out what was going on. I'm a little concerned that the dialog allowed negative values.
Is there anything else? No links to download anything.

I wanted to run, the windows version is compiled for 64-bit. I'm running 32 bit. A 32 bit version would work on 64 bit machines, but it doesn't work the other way.
Some of the glyphs didn't load, I just got red and blue boxes with no idea what it was supposed to be. I'd create pictures in the future to ensure it renders correctly.
Will play when the website comes back up
Camera is very sensitive, but an interesting play. Nice sound. Runs nicely for me.
Thanks, let me see what I can do about the link.
I'll be able to change hosts in about 5 hours or so.
karsyf - last line before the screen shot, the mirror will be live in a couple of hours, use the file menu in Google drive to download the zip file.
Any and all feedback is appreciated. I'm not new but I'm still an amateur.
The tiles switching was supposed to be disorienting, reinforcing that hitting them was bad. I discovered it was too much so, which is why I added the green line.
timtipgames - Yeah well, I went back and forth on that. Basically this came down to having a story and running with it. The scoring then happened to work out nicely. Also the high score list is updated via MySQL, so I'll post a page where people can see results.
nintendoeats - I would have loved the parallel worlds theme, but this game has been struggling to get out for more than a year now. I went with what I could do in the theme. It is interesting as a mechanic. Imagine if you split it into 4ths. It could get quite challenging quite quickly. Might make a good dungeon crawler mechanic someday, where the two teams are connected.
Jellycakes, nicely done on your score. I'll post the link to see the scores just as soon as I can.
No worries netmute. Hopefully some day WPF will come to mono.
FYI, I've added a link to the list of high scores (all scores).
Locked at the first text screen, bummer.
Oh, press X? It looked like a close button, so I kept trying to hit it with the mouse. Now I feel stupid, let me try it again.
You need to stick with .Net 3.5 or 4 if you want to support XP.
Additionally, I don't see your source, which is required for a 48 hour compo entry.
Green stairs were not hard, similar to my maze game, but different. Nice. The hardest part was knowing where I needed to be to keep from falling off.
So where's the source?
Not playable, that kinda sucks.
207275, my e key still works
No matlab, but wouldn't a better name be connect 6?
I lost a blue ball through the wall. :(
Colors could be more vivid, but interesting.
So the learning from death is a portal like mechanism, it would be really funny to insult the user when they make the same mistake twice. Just my $0.02.
Escape locked the main screen for me, and I was able to hit escape during a fight leaving me with no menu. Despite that, it was fun. A solid entry.
