Really enjoyed it. Great job!
Old school FTW, nice and minimalist even in the size. Great!!!
Cool. Very GBA-ish.
I really like the art and music and controls. It's really smooth.
Very nice art and feel! Congrats!
Oh my, it was the most minimalist potato, I've ever seen (also: kudos for C + SDL combo :D).
Great job! love the game!
Good use of the theme, and quite funny, though the gameplay was a little lacking.
I loved the quotes scattered around the game. Would enjoy seeing a post-compo version that contained the stuff you were hoping to finish.
Great use of the theme (and potato). Fantastic job.
Brilliant! Fun to play, good-looking and polished. Love the humor. And the obligatory potato joke, of course. :P
This is fantastic. I'd like to see an extended version of this, just with some 'closure', I suppose.
I even bothered to go back to the room that the Fairly Unessential Key unlocked, just in case. Please, just finish it off, for my sanity.
The idea of a "furniture hitting simulator" is absolutely hilarious! Some very fun dialogs, nice use of the potato and the overall style (both art & music) is quite psychedelic ... i like it!
Impressive size o_o
This was a really cool game.
I loved the dialog, it kept me going through the whole game. It was really funny, especially the later stuff. The concept of smashing up things to minimize a nice take on the theme and also fun.
I'm amazed at how much content you managed to get in and also at the level of polish. Everything felt really smooth, from the transitions and text box animations, to the general movement and smashing things. The graphics where really cute and stylish too, I really like how many different sprites you made for the little people.
Good job!
I'm sad this didn't quite get finished, but what is there was fun to play! I liked hunting down the philosophical quotes. I would've liked a minimap to keep track of all of the rooms.
the game is technically solid, but could make more sense as a story. but i loved the dialog and visual style.
What a wonderful world !
You've created a really good game world with some solid mechanics. I think given the time to add more features this has potential. Really liked the graphics as well. Nice work.
This was a really polished and fun little game! Reminds me of the weeks I spent playing the Mother games.
Had fun whacking stuff!
Love it! I like smashing up stuff.
Very well polished. The pixel art was very nice. I felt it was way too long though. Lost interest eventually and didn't finish it.
The way you used minimalism in the game with the conversations worked good I think. The quotes also great.
the game reminded me of The Lost Vikings (maybe because of the conversations).
The music gave me a rushed feeling so I was running down the corridors trying to smash all things as quickly as possible.
The graphics are neat and everythings works very smooth (except sometimes large furniture in a small corridor would be hard to pass and to hit it if you approached from above).
It was also a bit too big for me. So many rooms!
It was a good thing that you wrote about the random generator. It makes me appreciate more what you did.
Nice game concept and graphics. The potato was quite simple.
Visual style and sound of this game come together very well. Even though there's "no ending", it feels all right overall. Also, I was surprised about the other look of characters and stuff when you restart the game. Cool.
Lovely ideas, and the tech writeup was very interesting. Good work!
Looked quite polished to me and the music was quite good!
The random generation is nifty as well :)
