Sometimes annoying platforming, (Near the core I dropped down and had to do a lot again..) but still superb!

Great entry! 5/5
Btw. check out Soul Searchin by MaximSchoemaker if you already havn't. You both use the "same" camera zooming/shrinking, but a bit differently.
The ant riding was fun! Great concept, great execution.
"oh god make the music stop" :D
I actually thought something like this too, so it's fun to see that someone made a game like this, so great use of the theme. The movement and firing speed was slow and got a bit frustrated with that. Maybe it was authentic feel then, but I think that backfired and it would have been better without that authentic feel. :P
Great stuff, but couldn't figure out what you need to do with the red block, it didn't move and I couldn' t grab it. I guess I would have needed more weight to lift it, but the place was very hard to reach with a lot of weight. Might try it again.
Oh yes, I was missing damage taken indicator for the ghosts. Also it took so many hits to kill a ghost, that it was totally my bad that you didn't quite get it. Should have informed it some way.
No idea how I would improve this as a game and in that sense I should give it a high score, at least it was close to a perfect in what it tried to be. The problem for me was really that it was too simple for me as I'm not a casual gamer. But you just can't please everybody, I think what really matters is that you managed to please yourself with your creation. If you did that, then it was really worth it.
Reminds me of Costume Quest as you ring the bells. :) Good job!
Hi! This is about my game: You did everything just the way it should be done on my game. But I didn't manage to create on time the damage taken indicator, so that's just my fault and that's why you didn't get it.. + it takes pretty many hits to kill one ghost.
Thanks for beating my game!
At first the screenshots didn't promise that much, but in the end I was really surprised, I think this was the best game I've rated thus far. It's simple, but it made me feel like I would have wanted to make this game. I felt inspired.
About my game: What second cave you mean? There are 3 locations: big rock, ? and Bunker. Or do you mean second black stone? I've improved the description (yet again), hopefully you can now finish the game if you want to try again.
I guess the map is just too big and there are too little content in it, so players don't find the stuff from there. So you found 1 out of 3 places.. And I've been uncomfortable at telling everything from start to finish (as I consider that it spoils it), but I guess there's nothing more to do, as the game is just not accessible enough.
Hi, you asked me what you needed to shoot, so here's my response: Ghost. You need to collect the stones for the ghost and then it should be fairly obvious. But the indication of damage taken got missing but didn't get it implemented and it would be a feature and thus can't implement it anymore.
Oh yes, you probably missed the ghost location on the map.. So It's all on the same continent! Hope you try again and finish the game! Oh, and gotta also give some feedback to you then.
So much level content here..Great mood and audio. The evolutive choices were great spice. I think there was too much eating to get another level/evolution. Would like to find a way to make the eating more interesting.. Maybe if there were some random generated bonuses once in a while popping up or some special kind of stuff you can eat and get some power ups from those?
@phren did you read the walkthrough? It's on the end of the description, should help. But maybe I'm just presuming that people get it and I havn't made good enough instructions for this game, but I've tried.
So you think that the rocks were unfairly difficult to see..? Yeah, should take on account that not everybody well, I guess that any people with bad eyesight have big troubles on there. So good point.
I think I've used to read so bad handwriting (my own) that the text quality didn't bother me at all. Didn't even think that it bothers someone that much, so good point there too.
Hi! You asked me where to find the second stone. You didn't find the Bunker, it's located to the right from the big rock! Hope you try again!
Gameplay was kind of original, havnt playd too much point and click which is combined with this randomization and stuff collection. But yes, strong points were graphics/audio/mood departments.
Oh, right, sorry my bad. Didn't have time to add damage taken indictor. So in the end you need to shoot the ghosts, but it takes a lot of hits and there's no indication of damage taken.. Pretty flawed, should have informed it immediately.
There was a lot of game elements and enjoyed most of it. I would try to work the controls to feel more responsive, now it was too hard to control the character when trying to clear the spike jumping parts.
Loved the music and the enemy attack mechanic! This was great.
It was fun for me. The learning curve was at first great, but I think that the level where the goal is on the center with J shaped red stuff around( your main screenshot has this level), then there was too much difficulty for me. I couldn't complete that level despite serious efforts, but I was very close to do it once.
Loved the graphics!
Fun & Easy. Enjoyed, thanks!
audio is superb great, also graphics are nice, animations are really great. Nice puzzle gameplay, but the levels were maybe too long if I made an error. I got stuck to the second level. Maybe the difficulty got too high too fast. And these kind of puzzle games require a lot of time to think and it's not something a lot of LD judges are willing to do when the goal is to rate a lot of entries. That's really a bit shame for every good puzzle game in here.
@netmute: I guess your flash version is up to date? I'm not sure but I think it might need newer than 11.3 as that's probably the version used to develop this. The game is 1 135 KB in size, so it should download pretty fast, but before it has downloaded, the screen shows only white for me too. Having a preloader would help with these kind of things.
It was really great! I just missed the ability to pull the boxes as now they got easily stuck to corners after pushing them with incorrect (too small) force, so it was a bit trial and error to figure out how the boxes move. Then later the levels got long and there was maybe too much backtracking for my taste. Would have wanted to complete the game but had to give up there.
I would make player see better to the other sides of the wormholes to avoid too unfair deaths. I would make the game less unforgiving by allowing for example 3 restarts from the same room with small invincibility time after respawn, to avoid that player need to backtrack too much. I would also try to get the controls feel better, maybe give more control to the player and less physics based movement, so that player could move faster and safer at the same time. Also I wasn't sure was my main goal to get all the stars or was it to get to some other place? Clarifying this would be important.
At first it seems average block pushing game, but it's actually great with viruses, firewalls and antiviruses, which make the game interesting and have good amount of puzzle depth. Kept me playing it for a long time and had a lot of fun.
Nothing happens after the boss has died, that was a bit disappointing. The boss felt pretty epic with all the bullets flying around you.
Reply to my game: Please don't rate my game if you didn't see any other weapons than the starting pistol, because my game really seems bad if you quit at that point.
Reply: Ah sorry, I immediately pictured the worst case scenario in my head. But of course you were talking about the screenshot weapons. But yes, I think I got some strong contrast on the game and it might very well hurt eyes, thanks for your constructive feedback!
"Only thing odd for me were the drawings or photos of the guns."
Reply: Try my Post-Compo2 version, you'll definitely then understand why there were guns in there.
Very cool game you got here! Also thanks for taking a closer look into my game.
I liked it a lot! Just had some frame rate issues with the web version.
