Mr.No's Laboratory by Helco 2012-04-26T15:26:00

@lanoiadimuu: Oh thanks :) I'll update right now
@MurrayL: I planned to make the end longer but I could start just 3-4 hours for ending, but I'll try to make the collision for the player smaller.
@Tom7:
Thanks to you for reporting this bug, cause I use a similar timer system in another game, but with the other updates I'll enable VSync (60-75 FPS).

Mr.No's Laboratory by Helco 2012-04-26T15:30:00

Just saw that I can not submit a patch without changing the original file link (I think that would not be fair) ?
But I'm updating and submit right after the judging ends.

Mr.No's Laboratory by Helco 2012-04-28T18:47:00

You got an upgrade!
I changed the whole movement system to the system I original wanted to do but I was too lazy to implement it, but here you have it: a smooth tile-based movement
And please say if the speed bug is gone.
Tomorrow (UTC+01:00) I will make a blog post for the timer problem because of other games of mine which use it, because I don't have an idea to solve it forever without using the non-cross-platform nanosecond API of windows

Chameleon by Helco 2013-04-29T12:38:00

did you read the readme and install oalinst.exe?

Chameleon by Helco 2013-04-29T13:21:00

Because of the OpenAL problems I copied the OpenAL runtime into the normal windows archive.
I hope it works now

@Puffi
Just try to run around it, this works pretty well :)
If you really can't get past around any enemy just try to avoid it, there is just one enemy in the game (the last) you actually have to kill (but it's more fun if you kill them all :) )

Chameleon by Helco 2013-04-29T14:21:00

what happens?

Chameleon by Helco 2013-04-29T14:35:00

Okay, I am sorry, I thought there wouldn't be anybody who doesn't have this extension, but maybe I can go without it, so I will go and try to upload another version without using it.

Chameleon by Helco 2013-04-29T14:50:00

@caranha
that's right I'm uploading a new version right now, but I have a pretty bad uplink... Just wait a few minutes the download should be ready soon

Chameleon by Helco 2013-04-29T15:49:00

UPDATE:
Okay sorry for the long pause, the download link for windows is again up with an update which doesn't use any openGL extensions anymore.

And the port for Linux is created and is currently uploaded.

Chameleon by Helco 2013-04-29T17:07:00

@Loxo
That's a great idea! If I make a post mortem version this feature will be in, promise :)

Chameleon by Helco 2013-04-29T18:16:00

The flies does not give much experience, so you don't need to catch them all, I just ignored them mostly myself in further levels. But they are just annoying as real ones, aren't they :)

@TheSambassador:
Actually you just have a half "heart" on the beginning, I ended up forgetting to write something like "My head hurts, I must have been hit, hey this potion could help" on the map, but this is noted for a post-mortem version (would be a "new feature" so I'll not add it in this version for the sake of fairness) as well as better marks for the exit.
The movement is a bit weird but I kept it like this to prevent the player to fight diagonally, this would have made the fights too easy...

@ For all who just get a white/black screen:
If you press enter does it show something different (or do you at least hear you something different) ?
Unfortunately I can not reproduce this bug, so I guess that this is a problem with the graphic card (to be precise incompability with non-power-of-two-textures) and not with the operating system, at least I hope this is it.
If my assumption is right, you should be able to get into the gameplay without seeing the menu (but of course I'll fix this)

Pixemalism by boddiul 2013-04-29T17:23:00

Sometimes, you can't move anymore after pushing/pulling boxes, but it was innovational

The Last Night by Ivan_ 2013-04-29T19:20:00

The Secrets Beneath [v1.4] by Ad-man 2014-04-28T06:25:00

First: Please provide a x86 package for those who still run 32-Bit (fortunately not me), your Msvcp120.dll could be solved by searching your msvcp120.dll and putting it into the binaries folder (or for those who want to play it earlier, go to http://www.microsoft.com/de-de/download/details.aspx?id=40784)

Undersand by TheElephantSeal 2014-04-28T06:58:00

Unfortunately I can not play this game because msvcr120.dll is missing. The installation of the Microsoft Visual Studio 2013 Redistributable didn't help either.
