Cool idea, nice take on the theme. I think the eraser takes to long to work and it seems to be a bit 'off' in terms of detecting when it is or isn't touching the pencil marks. But all in all a good game.

Maybe I was doing something wrong but when I scanned the ball, the animation happened but nothing else happened. And then I couldn't scan it again.
I like the idea, but unless I was playing it wrong, it's at the stage where it's just a whitebox and an animation. Anyway, cool idea.

I love this game so much! It is so beautiful in its simplicity. At first I thought it was crazy hard because I was only putting down like three bananas and then waiting, but one I learned to spam the bananas it was very fun. This game is very fun and also captures the theme very well :3
My last 2 scores were: 11-23 with 16 seconds left and 16-77 with 8 seconds left.
Fun game! I agree with the other comments that the bubble gun doesn't work all that well, but otherwise nicely done.
Wow, I really like this game. Like you say short but very polished - I hope you extend it at some point.
I really like this game, I think it's impressive you managed to get this done early. I found the movement a little tricky at first, but that's probably because I was testing it on my own. Also I'm not sure how practical it will be to play with 4 players on a standard keyboard.
I like the idea, everything worked fine, I especially like the little reload by going over to the bookshelf mechanic. My favorite thing about the game was seeing the names of the classic books you included and gave special abilities. It might be too much work but I think it'd be really cool if all the books were named.
Heh, you see there's no gameplay, but I still managed to lose by capsizing the boat and immobilizing myself >.< Looks like the beginnings a neat idea.
This game is so good! I could, and might play it forever. This is what I made: http://i.imgur.com/OmcCsCt.png
This is a really cool interpretation of the theme. I really liked the flashlight and sound effects you chose there were very atmospheric. And I think the mood you were trying to create came across really well.
The art in this game really made it for me, it just completely set the mood. It took the minimalism of the text and continued the story.
My only criticism would be that I don't really feel like I had any player agency at all, my choices didn't seem to affect anything. But, I will replay it again to see how much my choices impact.
I was really pleased to read in your postmortem that you plan to continue the game, I think as soon as you make it less linear, and develop the story a bit, it'll be something really special.
I found this game quite fun and really loved the idea - definitely a good take on the theme. And the music is really lovely as you unlock the instruments. I find it quite hard to play at times because of the amount of enemies, but I did manage to finish the game.
Really minor detail, but you might want to proof read some of the text, for example at the beginning it says "go search the guitar..." when it should be go search for the guitar or go find.
I won! Wow, I must have restarted that like though >.< I really love the idea, and you guys really managed to pull off a fantastic creepy atmosphere in the game.
But I have to agree with the others saying the game is too frustrating. I don't know if there were clues about which door to pick other than the talking paintings, but the only clue I found and used was the one in the last room that listed all the doors by room number. I feel like more clues, or if there are some I haven't noticed, more obvious clues, would make the game a lot more fun.
I have to say though the talking paintings, the music, the lighting all worked really well together to create the atmosphere, and the idea itself is great.
I also found it hard to aim, but this is a fun little game.
Nice game, I love the art.
Cool idea! I struggled a bit used to all the buttons, but it was worth the struggle.
Ah this is so funny! Graphics are very cute too, I think this is one of my favorite games I've played so far this Ludum Dare. I'm gonna go check out the post-compo version now :)
Nice! Might just be me but I'm finding it quite hard, fun though.
My high score is 41 so far! Guess I was doing better than I though.
