The game was a lot of fun to play. I especially liked the soundtrack.
Pretty neat, great music and around a very smooth aesthetic
Nice Music and simple but cool pixel art
I love the intro. It's a great, but difficult game.
good concept!
Loved the music and sound effects in the game. The atmosphere is also really good. The game was a bit on the difficult side for me, might be nice to have a health/heart system. The bouncing intro is also a really nice touch
Love the music! Gameplay was nice, but could use a bit more activity.
I had a lot of fun with this one!
Holy crap, rough but fun!
Controls are very responsive, though character hitbox felt a bit...loose somehow (as in I got hit without thinking I would be at times).
Simple take on the theme but nicely done, kudos.
Music is particularly moody, and game is challenging, great job. :)
It feels a little harsh to die on contact with any enemy, but I can also see how it makes sense and the game feels otherwise balanced.
Graphics look great, music and sfx are also great, and it's fun to play! I guess my only other criticism is that it lacks a little depth.
Maybe you could expand it into a dungeon crawler, so eventually you defeat a room and move onto the next.
I played this game an thought it was a jam. The way the enemies came at you was really well put together. The difficulty didn't start out too slow or ramp up too quickly. The controls are snappy and responsive. The game ran well. The audio was good and the art was crisp, clean, and colorful. The key game mechanic (turning into stone) was implement well in relation to the challenges the game threw at me. And lastly, the game is very well polished, from the camera shake to all the little animations and the "noooo" slo motion you get when you lose after getting to 1000 points. One of best submissions so far for me!
The core mechanic and enemy movement works very well. Would be nice expanded to a series of rooms you had to escape.
The mechanic of having to keep your power up worked really well. Nice twist on a simple idea. Also, very well polished - graphics and audio were good!
The gameplay and the music were very fun. The Graphics very simple but not bad. Good work.
Fun game! :-)
I appreciate that so much of the game is built on playing with avoidance. the arts quite nice, and the challenge is well tuned. Nice work!
Hi, nice game ! We're realizing a video with several games of the Ludum Dare #35.
Can you add your game on indiexpo.net ? (it's free)
So we can include also your game in the video ;)
p.s. write #LDJAM in the game's description
Woa, very addictive game! Love it!
Maybe you can think on adding something to the game, like random obstacles on the game (they can be fixed for sometime), so the character should avoid them when running, but can use it to fool the enemies when trying to escape ;)
really fun game to play. you did a very good job!
This is cool, it was fun turning into stone to pass through the death rays. I felt that it would be cool to slide a bit when turning into stone - the stop on shift right now is quite abrupt.
Fun and challenging arcadey game, nicely done.
