Brilliant game! I nearly gave up at the point where I'd got the monocle until I started paying attention the voices and realised where the talking was coming from.
Very creative entry, all members of your team as important as the others.
Beautiful visuals, excellent sound, wonderful voice over and the game feels very fluid. Lots of fun. Great job everyone! :)
Perfect ending too, really made me laugh.
Seems like a great idea, just need to find some friends now. :)
I really like the idea. The graphics are full of character, I especially loved those pesky fish!
The music was great too. :)
A lot of fun, also bonus points for the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy quote! :D
This is a brilliant entry! So cute, so charming! Great art, great voice over. Love it. Will definitely have to try the Android version on my tablet, I think my daughter would love it!
I love this game. The art and animation are beautiful and the control system feels very slick.
I didn't manage to kill any but I did give one some war wounds to show off!
I definitely play to return to it after I've rated a few other games. I really want to see what happens when I finally kill one!
Great stuff. :)
I loved this game!
I really like the visuals and the fact that Nessie isn't quite what we expected!
The mechanics are really good and not something I've come across before. Just wish the hit boxes were a bit more forgiving but you're aware of that.
Great stuff. :)
Cute little game! My first instinct was to run around destroying everything but then moving the food was quite tough. Was much better when I stood near the beast hole and destroyed stuff close by. Quite interesting that it forces you to play different to what you'd normally expect to do.
It gets hectic very quickly though. :D
This feels like Sharknado: The Game to me. Surprisingly fun to fly sharks out of the water to attack jets.
The aesthetics remind me of playing on the Sega Mega Drive. Great stuff. :)
The graphics and audio are amazing, really impressive stuff!
I did bounce against the tables a fair bit (glad it didn't annoy the customers!) but I really loved the concept. :)
Very cute game although it gets very hectic. I liked it though I wasn't sure if my score of 111 is good or not.
I found it quite difficult to get the food but it seems to be a really strong concept. :)
If anyone gets an error that says "This application has an invalid application descriptor. Try re-installing or contacting the publisher for assistance." then install/update Adobe Air and it runs fine after that.
Love the visuals!
Brilliant game! You had the cheek to call it terrible on Twitter. :P
I love the art style and the game in general. Really like the way the tentacles of the kraken are represented individuals. Lovely game!
Can't wait to see the whole game when you've got all your pieces together! :)
I really like this entry! The art style is really nice - it has a lot of character. :)
I sort of wished the mousewheel would also spin it around too as well as the wheel at the bottom. I would definitely like to play it again once it has a score system. :)
I love this! I really felt like I was back as a kid playing on my Master System. :)
Much faster and frenetic than the majority of happy bird clones that I've played. It works really well for that.
Beautiful game! I loved the graphics and the sound was the best sound for any LD game I've played so far. Not only were the graphics beautifully drawn but the lighting was great too.
It has definitely left me wanting more!
Also the large character sprite really reminded me of the good old days when I used to play Dark Sceptre on the ZX Spectrum.
Great work! :)
I really liked this. It's not really my kind of game (the themes mostly) but I really liked the change of tone and especially the music.
I'm impressed you fit so many different screens and mechanics into the game within the 48 hours.
I really love the concept! To begin with the controls seemed a bit hard to get used to but actually after messing around for a while it was very straight forward.
I think it has bags of potential, I'd really love to see it extended into a fully fledged castaway sim! :)
A very relaxing and beautiful game. I really liked the idea. :)
Really enjoyed this game. Excellent puzzle mechanics. :)
I find this game incredibly charming!
This is a great concept! I spent more time playing this game than I did a lot of the other entries, but in the end, I too gave up hope. :)
I'm really impressed with this entry. The graphics are really nice and the mechanics are great.
Really nice work! :)
Cute little game! :)
I think it's a good start, the important thing is you actually released something here. I'd love to see what you do next. :)
Really nice game, looks very polished for a 48 hour attempt. Excellent stuff!
I absolutely adore the music. Love the game over screen too. Not enough games have a nice game over screen these days!
Gameplay could do with a little work, though.
I really like this game! The effects when you die or when you destroy stuff is really good. I also love the "Yeah" that flies out of the star when you win the level.
Really nice platformer, I'd actually like to see you develop it further as I think it has potential.
Very interesting take on the theme, as others have said I would like more of a game of it though it is fun for a while to fly around in there.
A really nice game! The only criticism I can offer is that I would have liked some dialogue options when talking to Doris but otherwise a cute LD game. :)
Great game! Very funny!
I loved the variety. It's great when devs pack so many scenes into their game in such a short time. Yours is especially good as you have different mechanics for each part.
I would love to see a continuation to this. Lots more scenes please! It reminds me a little of McPixel.
Great job! :)
I like the mechanics and it feels nice to be trying to escape from beneath the surface.
It's very cute when you do make it to the top to see the flower bloom.
Cute game! :)
I liked the graphics and the music was great. Where did you go to create the music?
Very nice game. I like the mechanics, they seem to work well! :)
Would like to see it expanded in some way.
Very cute game! The visuals have a lot of character. I find it a tiny bit frustrating that you can't go diagonally though.
Love it overall though.
I love this game!
The punches connect really nicely and I like the way you have to follow up by moving if you land a punch - makes it not just about tapping punch all the time.
Very loose connection to the theme but this takes underground boxing to another level. ;)
I found it a little too tense to play! Especially while my daughter sleeps in the next room. :)
Great game though! I'll explore it more when I'm feeling a bit braver. ;)
I love this game! Quite difficult but a lot of fun and damn it's beautiful. Very responsive controls too.
Great work! :)
Surprisingly addictive. ;)
I love the sound effect whenever you find anyone, very funny!
I enjoyed this. There was a lot more variety in the enemies than I have come to expect in a compo entry. Great work. :)
At first I assumed this was a jam entry. Excellent work under the compo constraints! :)
Thanks for the feedback xgeovanni! This was my first game with Twine, I certainly intend to plan out more interesting twists in future games.
@dickpoelen Yes, she's fine. I think I need to write a sequel at some point. ;)
@Snoother Thanks for the feedback! Yes the ending was very anti-climactic sadly. I wrote it last night and got very very tired by that point.
Both my daughter and I really enjoyed it. Though my daughter said the voice was "creepy" (she loved that it was creepy)! :grinning:
Nice implementation of the concept! I struggled to find logs, I think it would've been more fun if it was a little bit brighter. Great job! :grinning:
Good job! Reminded me a lot of the Incredible Machine which I played tons of as a child.
We loved the game! The visuals and the sounds are both lovely. My daughter said this is exactly what she thinks it would be like inside her brain. Great job! :grinning:
Beautiful graphics. Way too short but a great implementation. Good job!
We loved this game. I played it with my daughter who used gamepad and I used keyboard. First try we died, but on second try we got the hang of it. I mostly spent my time in the middle of the screen making enemies chase me while my daughter stayed near the dude and killed any I missed.
Great game, overall excellent!
Just wanted to say my daughter keeps asking us to play this one again. "Please, it's my favourite game!"
We played again this morning. It's a lot of fun! One thing we'd love to see added is the ability to somehow revive your teammate if they die.
I didn't understand how to make more beehives. I felt like I got completely overrun before I had a chance to do anything about it. The game looks lovely though.
Thanks for the info @thecritterscove! We managed to get further this time. How do we deal with the bomb dude though? It felt like no bees were attacking it.
We love the concept. The idea of making rooms inside the whale is an interesting one! The resource management is great. The only issue I have is how unclear it is whether you've done well or not. I managed to see one ending where I had survived and the ocean had too, however in my longest run I managed to build every room including the toilet (lol) but the ocean was destroyed.
Either way, excellent game! :grinning:
We loved the game except for the panda one. We beat the panda stage once in practice mode but still don't exactly understand how. The rest of game is wonderful and has a lovely feel to it. We especially loved the ninja turtles. We also loved the bird sounds. Great job! :grinning:
We loved the art and I especially liked that it has gulp reviews. Great pun! I do wish the post-level screen stayed up a bit longer though. The game got frantic very quickly but it's a hilarious concept. Great job!
Beautiful game. The bird especially beautiful. The core gameplay loop was fun and engaging. I'd love to see it developed further! :grinning:
The game was lovely but some of the levels felt a bit frustrating to complete. The concept was excellent and we both enjoyed it. With some careful level design, I can really see this becoming a full game. I would've liked a tiny bit more light when we restart away from the sun.
Loved the concept and the humour! I wasn't sure how to get to the eggs behind the boxes. Keep up the great work! :grinning:
It took me a while before I realised you could actually jump multiple times. It feels a bit like flappy bird! I managed see the end credits screen. The art is really nice. Well done on your first game!
Difficult game but very good atmosphere. The spiders were actually quite scary and I loved the way the hearth got darker as it's fuel was depleting. Also my daughter loves the running with logs animation! :grinning:
