I found it to be oddly entertaining but I wasn't able to fully grasp the mechanics. Seemed like luck to be able to deep dive

Pros: - Nice handmade graphics - Straightforward and short gameplay, that fits the theme
Cons: - Not much in terms of gameplay features - Some game mechanics aren't communicated to the user well enough
Overall this isn't a huge game, but it's also not a buggy one. Everyone has their skill level and I think that it's good that author made a game with small scope, rather than sink in tons of bugs or not finish the game at all.
Maybe missing some explaination, even if you quickly understand what to do since their is not a lot. But otherwise the game work and the baby penguin is cute.
I'm not sure if I got I right, but it appears that the game is only ~10 seconds long. When saving the penguin from the one bird I immediately win.
This aside, I have to say that the graphics are very cool and quite cute. Some music would have been nice. Not entirely sure what else I could review :)
Pretty game overall, but unfortunately too short, so with some more levels and explanation, it could improve a lot the game !
The art is nice, but the game was very short. I would've liked to see more than just dodging a bird. The mechanics were a bit harsh too. If I held up I'd bounce against the surface, and there was no way that I could see to tell if the penguin was about to drown. I think I got stuck on something at the end, because I had to dive down a bit to get unstuck and win, but when I did it said "game over, you win", which was a bit confusing, as "game over" usually implies you lost.
pretty game, the penguin is very cute.
I liked the art style. Its a really cool game, Adding animations & some effects to the game will make it more enjoyable. I was a bit confused at first, Having an explanation of the mechanics could improve it. Yet it was a nice game. Good Luck for your future projects!
Very nice art style. Gameplay is short and the mechanic is pretty punishing. I think with some polishing this could be a great little game :)
Beautiful graphics. Way too short but a great implementation. Good job!
Basically what has been said before - really nice drawings, some more gameplay and sound would be nice though. :)
Nice art direction, but not much content. More game would be great!
The art of the assets seemed very well drawn and high quality. The rest of the game mechanics were very rough and not really clear to the player. I had to find out the mechanics by sheer try and error after which the game was so easy, since there was no challenge left. It's pretty obvious that this is still more of a rough prototype than an actual "finished" product, so there isn't really much to say than: Keep it up and I hope you can publish a more round and polished experience the next time :) Always think about player involvement. Never stop to question, if the currently implemented mechanics are actually fun for players. Just moving a pointer from left to right in the correct height is usually not that involving and/or fun. Even great art cannot hide that fact.
Keep it up!
So cuuuute.
Really liked the art, unfortunately not much to it however. Would be great to see where things could be taken with such an art style, very promising
Nice job on the art. For the next jam I'd encourage a bit more depth to the mechanics. Doesn't have to be a more complex control scheme mind you! Good luck.
