It feels a bit weird with there being no sound and all. The game does look very good, however. I don't quite like the respawn mechanic. If one of the core aspects of the game is dying, then when you respawn there should at least be a little bit of light outside of the sun. Despite my gripes, it's a great game and you did very well.

Definitely add sound. Also the beginning of the level gets too dark when you die and leave the sun somewhere else. The visuals are really good though. Good job.

Nice ! I love the fact that you have to keep the sun burning ! Its a bit difficult at the beginning but when we understand the rule and how the game works, it become very fun! Good Job !

The sound or music in the background could be cool.

Great idea and good execution and difficulty curve, would have loved to see some more levels and different ways to use the sun. Agree with previous about sound.

A nice concept, I was a bit confused by the respawn mechanics a first but got used to it. The game is a bit too dark and it's sometimes hard to navigate. Being able to create platforms anywhere feels sometimes a bit cheaty but is a cool gameplay element :) The tutorial levels were great to get used to the different controls.

Thank you everyone who is commenting! Great feedback! :)

With audio both of us have 0 experience with sound and we were so focused on mechanics and visuals that we thought about sound only 2 hours before the deadline. We were both really tired by that time (2 a.m. in Eastern Europe) and we decided to just go without it.

Next time will be sure to add at least something! :D

Tricky yet fun! Well made overall and looks really nice! It was very easy to understand which I found great for any audience to download and have a go. The tutorial was helpful straight off the bat. Don't overlook this! :)

I liked the platform making mechanics and using it to light up the level. It would be really cool if the main character would be Ra :)

Highest score I've given so far! Complete game, really interesting concept, challenging "puzzles", fun! Of course using unreal's default guy etc is not ideal vs a unique character, but it's clear you spent time more on other aspects of the game, and therefor it was almost irrelevant! :) I also agree music/sfx would be nice, so I would say take this concept and run with it! :D

It is so good! Cool idea! Need low light on cliff

Smart take on the "keep a flame alive". At first I was confused why you would simply drop the flame when you died, and thought that made the game easy, but now I see that it was used to get through difficult terrain. Music would also have helped, but we can't do everything in Jams. Good submission!

The game was lovely but some of the levels felt a bit frustrating to complete. The concept was excellent and we both enjoyed it. With some careful level design, I can really see this becoming a full game. I would've liked a tiny bit more light when we restart away from the sun.

Very interesting idea. Good combination of lightless world and movable by player light source. Coldnt finish the last level, cuz the light "checkpoint" was too far from start and jumping puzzle was prety hard to do in absollutelly darkness. But good job guys!
