Funky, nice atmosphere :) It's a bit easy to play (I couldn't lose until I intentionally went on the red stuff). I don't know if things could speed up the longer you survive? Fun and chill, nice job :)

This is a really nicely presented game. I really like the art and card designs. I agree that you can add sound effects and animations to make it even better. Once you get the hang of it the gameplay is fun, but there is quite a learning curve I felt. Perhaps a tutorial level with a lot of explanations would help? I enjoyed upgrading my deck with new cards in the shop. This game really has potential. Well done :)
This is really cool! And nice to see you using Godot :)
Just a few minor things, like I didn't notice a shooting animation and the character doesn't face the way he is shooting, and there's not that much visual feedback when you hit the boss. I also had no idea I was supposed to kill the big monster initially. I think maybe a health bar would be nicer than the red number. I also didn't know what the blue things were for.
That all said, I really like this entry - unique concept, and I like to see jam games with voice-acting (although I didn't understand anything the character said!). I found it quite fun, and it definitely has potential. Nice end-screen :)
This is very addictive - I think you can expand it with sound and music and put it on mobile and it would do well. The challenge is just right, especially in the latter levels. It would be nice to glance at the squares and know how many movement points they each have - perhaps this could be shown on the squares themselves. Overall very well done, I enjoyed this a lot.
Nice atmosphere and art looks quite unique. It was hard initially to figure out how to find the thermals - it takes a lot of trial and error more than anything else. Great concept!
Atmospheric and fits the theme well.. I spent most of the time feeling lost. I couldn't find the golden key and I spent ages trying. Nice ambient sound. Well done :)
Went in blind and won after 200 seconds. Fun when you get the hang of it :)
Nice! You put a lot of work into this! Fun, and great sound and music. Took me a while to get used to aiming but I got there in the end :) Not really sure how it links in with the theme. Sometimes the HUD would disappear, I think its when fullscreen on the HTML5 version. Love the variety of guns, and the shotgun is especially fun to use. Huge achievement for only 72 hours so well done!
This is so good for 72 hours! Original concept, I really like how you use time instead of health as a central mechanic. I enjoyed the platforming. Later on it does take more patience with the lasers instakilling you. Really fun, nice job :)
Very nice. The UI is polished and audio and graphics/animation are very impressive for the limited time you had to make this. I like how mechanics such as shooting with the sword and dashing are gradually introduced with helpful information reminding you how to use your abilities and what to do. The main problem I had was that the game felt very repetitive, which I suppose comes with the theme. Perhaps some more variation each time you revisit the same/similar areas. Overall really nice work!
Was so confused. Give me my 10 mins back
This was actually quite fun. I played the whole thing, and sacrificed a few dozen ghosts to complete the last level. It would be interesting to see how you could expand the puzzles, e.g. traps or levers. The idea has potential and you could go quite far with it. It just needs a little polish, especially in terms of sound and music. I like the concept and I like that you used the Godot engine :)
PS the web version was fine
Fun game and very impressive for the limited time.
Platforming is generally enjoyable but can be frustrating having to spam spacebar instead of holding it down. I think there should be some audiovisual feedback when you take damage (I didn't really notice until I died!). This may also just be personal preference, but I would like the option of wasd for controls.
I really like the music. Graphics are nice, and again, I'm impressed that you made a decent 3D platformer in such a limited time. I also like seeing the Godot engine used :)
This is really clever! A walkthrough isn't necessary, you just need to explore the different options a little. If you wanted to make it a bit more user friendly, maybe add a highlight or glow to the bits that are interactable. I wish there were more levels (but I appreciate the limited time of course!). It would be great if the graphics were fleshed out and maybe some sound effects. I really like the music, it adds to the game feel. Well done, pretty original :)
Nice idea, this has potential to be a good puzzle game. I completed it within a few minutes. Currently its too easy (seems impossible to lose) - would be interesting to see how you could add more challenge without making it too frustrating. Maybe something that adds difficulty each time the level resets.
Juicy slime! Polish! Pseudo-3D! High scores! Fun and interesting levels! A bit of music or ambient sound for the game would be great. This is one of my favourite games so far and I can really see it being expanded :) The leaderboard led me to replay a few levels (I'm hnuqweasd) - a nice touch. Very impressive for 48 hours!
It's more fun at lower speeds, quite relaxing to play, would be good on mobile if you add some sound and maybe a bit of screenshake when you hit an obstacle. At higher speeds as other users have said it bugs out and you can't die.
Fun, simple yet addictive. Nice twist on the traditional game.
I tried the html version first but the sound didn't quite seem to sync and it was slightly laggy, so I ended up downloading the Linux version. However, I couldn't seem to full screen it, and it would also not allow me to progress beyond the first level. I tried the Windows version via Wine and it had the same issue. I went back to the html version and played beyond level one.
Despite the bugs, I really like the amount of polish that went into this for a jam game. I like the audiovisual feedback - the game feels pretty good to play. I quite enjoy your channel btw, hope you keep it up :)
You make trippy games. I know its unfinished but I really liked it, probably my favourite so far. It does take a while to make it to the end - perhaps a little more leeway for the player would make the platforming less frustrating. Really like how important the sound is, and the voice at the end after you kill the monster made me smile. Good job! :)
Fun game, I played a little too much and got around 900 meters. Can see this being addictive on mobile - tap to jump. Maybe collecting coins or something will give an added objective whilst running. I really like the music, nice job :)
Fun! The sound effects made me chuckle :D
This is my favourite jam game so far -well done! Quite innovative and I really like the graphics. I prefer to use WASD for movement so I wonder whether an alternative control scheme keeping the spirit of the game would be possible. Also it can be a little hard to aim, and it would be convenient to be able to easily cast and move. Hope to see more from you :)
One of my favourites, really nice graphics and quite addictive :) Very minor nitpick would be I much prefer the tutorial/instructions being integrated into the game (I guess I don't have the attention span to read through the instructions screen at the start). Really nice job and impressive in such a short time. Well done :)
Awesome game, got quite into it :D gets quite easy imo when you put 2 contraptions on every planet
Clever use of the theme! I like how you introduce how to play ingame. Nice job :)
Very fun!! Super impressive for such a short jam and obviously quite a bit more polished than expected. Agree with other comments it doesn't seem related to the theme.
Nice job!! Great visuals and quite atmospheric. Really like the sound design :)
So polished! Personally I would have liked to aim using the mouse or some other method, I felt using WASD to aim as well as move a little awkward (I played with keyboard, don't have a controller to hand currently). Maybe it just takes practice! Very fun and amazed that this was all done in such a short time! Well done :)
Really fun and polished. Very juicy and satisfying. Quite addictive. All around nice job :D
I like the idea, definitely fits in with the theme! The controls were tough to get used to. Would be interested to see it finished with the building system if you plan to add that!
What a nice little game, love the art! I would have liked to see all my photos (not sure if i missed that option)
Quite unique! Loved the audio and atmosphere, and I really like games with a bit of narrative.
I learned I'm not very good at understanding my emotions! Found it hard to link the content of the cards with the outcome. By the end of it I was afraid and not emotionally stable :D
Really clever concept. Fun overall, nice work :)
Clever game! I played it before work for extra immersion. Initially I thought the controls were from the perspective of the car (i.e. if you need to turn left press A) so it took a couple of attempts to realise they weren't. The overall graphical style is nice and cohesive. Great concept, nice job!
Nice entry! Great job getting a game out with pygame so quickly considering its the first time you've used it! It was pretty fun initially but the choices did eventually get a little repetitive, so after a few rounds I ended up only looking at the impact on cash, productivity, etc. I like the idea, and you can't really avoid getting fired so it ties in well with the theme.
Clever concept! Quite fun too, and fairly intuitive, would be nice to see it developed.
Pretty cool concept, nice job! It could use a little more variety (apart from the monster). I got my R&D to 20, was a little on the easy side. I like the idea of splitting gameplay into phases, I think it has a lot of potential.
@automatonvx Thanks for the detailed feedback. We realised towards the end that the space was quite confined but it was too late to change anything, definitely a learning point for future games. Damage from alarms and candles was based on proximity rather than overlapping the hit boxes which I guess didn't feel intuitive in gameplay, so fair enough. We've had real problems with audio and web exports for our games, haven't really figured out a solution unfortunately. Good idea on skipping score submission. Great feedback -thanks again.
@lushboy-studios Totally right, I agree with integrating tutorial with gameplay and personally I quite dislike the whole separate tutorial powerpoint slide thing that we resorted to. We just ran out of time and didn't plan the tutorial aspect well enough.
@mateu Yup, we could have provided a better score breakdown, and maybe given a higher score for survival. You get a higher score from "Carnage" which you gain from blowing up alarms and candles with your bombs. Thanks for the feedback.
Great concept, and very original! Almost a realistic portrayal of our future. I think though that corporations will just deliver shocks via compliance implants if we don't wake up in time for work. Re gameplay, the only issue as per your disclaimer is certain combinations of keys were not detected. I wonder also if having the symbols/letters visible on the keys would be better. Nice presentation - clean visuals and art. Nice work :)
Fun and really clever concept. Small nitpick: it was a little hard to tell at a glance which tower shoots which food (especially the towers at the back). Nice job :)
Impressive, especially the overall atmosphere. The art and music went very well together. I agree with some of the other comments re: the gameplay being a little repetitive (I spent longer walking around than I would have liked) - maybe a smaller level or some added challenge / obstacle to finding the ingredients to make it more interesting? Small nitpick though, this is one of the jam games I've played that I'd really like to see expanded. Nice job :)
Cool game, I especially liked the atmosphere. It got a little repetitive, might be nice to have some more interaction with the environment, poltergeists, that kind of thing. I ran it in Linux using wine which was a bit glitchy, a native Linux build would be really nice. The audio / ambience was really nicely done, good job :)
Really great sound and aesthetics! I do think a round lasts a little too long, I got 13600 on my first attempt. I'd suggest adding another element to the game, e.g. ammo. Controls were snappy and game feels fun and polished, and your controls being affected by getting hit is quite clever. Nice job!
Fun game! Great controls and easy to play. I think it would be even better with a little more variation over time. Really like the concept, well-executed.
Great submission! Impressed with the amount of work in such a short timeframe. A single playthrough did drag on a little bit - the gameplay could use a bit more variety or risk imo, e.g. different types of bots, more of a penalty for getting caught. That said, I had fun and did play for a while. Nice job :)
