Neat concept, i would like to see it a bit more expanded and with music.

wiredsound 2020-10-06 18:25

Fun little puzzle game, I like the 'notebook-ish' aesthetic.

iodi 2020-10-06 18:58

Absolutely love your art!

don-tnowe 2020-10-06 20:30

Pretty decent. The move distance could be more clearly communicated, but everything else is pretty intuitive. Could get more challenging with more moving objectss on the level, and limited items could also make the first levels easier!

mhm32167 2020-10-06 21:30

This is very addictive - I think you can expand it with sound and music and put it on mobile and it would do well. The challenge is just right, especially in the latter levels. It would be nice to glance at the squares and know how many movement points they each have - perhaps this could be shown on the squares themselves. Overall very well done, I enjoyed this a lot.

@iodi @jdbuenol @wiredsound Thanks! <3

jon-nova 2020-10-07 00:49

@don-tnowe Thanks for the feedback! The move distance and directions are things that we will find an way to show to the player. We liked the game, so we will work in a post jam version.

jon-nova 2020-10-07 00:54

@mhm32167 Thanks for the feedback! i loved the mobile idea! I never made a mobile game, but i could try. we will try to show more information in the game. playing the game after finished, i realized that it's annoying not to know to where the square will go

bobparis75 2020-10-07 09:29

Very cool art style and mechanics

andreo200 2020-10-07 09:30

Vey good idea!

I really enjoyed this game, gameplay looks simple but is quite nuanced, had me thinking for a bit.

jordan-kelly 2020-10-07 10:28

I'd love to play a polished version of this! Maybe something where each puzzle has a no-mud solution you get extra credit for? Great job.

ditam 2020-10-07 10:39

It does not seem to run for me :( I'm using Chrome latest, and I'm seeing multiple errors after load, here's the console panel: [https://pastebin.com/vTpN99Fw](https://pastebin.com/vTpN99Fw)

sarahs7 2020-10-07 18:17

This was so fun! I found it very addictive. I would have played for a long time. Would be nice to indicate what level you are on (I lost count :)) ;) well done!

jasper-hansen 2020-10-08 02:13

Quite fun to mess around with. The puzzles were all easy to solve, but I still had a good time with them. Maybe a large level with tons of blocks and myriad solutions would be fun? I'd be curious to see how you'd take this game further, anyways.

kotovnav 2020-10-08 02:33

I really enjoy this game, it looks nice ^-^. The only one trouble i had(it might be just my browser problem) is that Mudpool drag n drop to the grid only after several attempts.

getsky 2020-10-08 17:29

Great job on level design! A very interesting puzzle game, definitely something I would have played if there was a longer version! Thumbs up!

blaiserascal 2020-10-09 00:53

Ah heck yes, programming games are my jam! Though I do feel like this one might have been a bit too easy (at least in the first half of the game, which is all I had time for). Maybe it would be trickier if the player had a limited number of arrows to drop? Also, I always forgot how many spaces the different squares would go - maybe as a suggestion, the square with five stars would go five spaces, and the square with 7 stars would go 7 spaces, or something? Just a suggestion; feel free to take it or leave it. Anyway, great work!

asue 2020-10-09 07:50

I like the concept very much, the graphics are simple but understandable. With a little music it would be perfect =D

captain-nakou 2020-10-11 13:47

Nice concept, seen of lot of those getting traction over the years. Could be a fun full game.

flying-dog-fish 2020-10-13 18:15

Nice puzzle game. It seems a little buggy.. it didn't register my win here:bad.PNG

jon-nova 2020-10-14 11:40

@flying-dog-fish the game has a bug that when two squares pass through the platform at the same time, it does not register. i will fix this in the post jam version. Thanks for the feedback!

peterfonts 2020-10-14 13:11

Good game! In the beginning, I was confusing about dragging the arrows, but later was clear! Adding audio will help to have better feedback about the game. But it's a great game with a robust idea and at the same time, clear. Congrats!

mar3k 2020-10-14 13:30

Quite challenging even from the start! I like it.

coleslaughter 2020-10-18 23:58

[We played your game on stream last night!](https://www.twitch.tv/videos/773934372?t=02h37m24s) Sorry if we got off on a few tangents, we tend to do that.

Overall I liked the concept of this one. I do think there could be a little more information portrayed to the player, as I found myself to be confused several times, but the core concept here is at least easy to understand.

I'm a sucker for puzzle games, and I have a particular soft-spot for aesthetics like this, you I definitely think you deserve bonus points for that. Nicely done, all around!
