Fun little game - thank you for your excellent voice work, Pixie!

Fun little game - thank you for your excellent voice work, Pixie!
Interest concept, I think the minimalist interface looks very nice. Like another person above said, subtitles would be nice but I totally understand that would be ambitious given the time frame.
Wonderful and charming little game! Very atmospheric, great pixel art, nice story - probably one of the best LD games I've tried out so far!
Audio is great - love the music and the sound as you charge. Was good fun to play and an interesting take on the theme.
The art and animation are excellent! Was good fun, though as others have said aiming was a little tricky.
Fun little puzzle game, I like the 'notebook-ish' aesthetic.
This was great fun! Though unfortunately, just as I had nearly enough rocket parts, the game seemed to stop advancing (i.e. it remained paused regardless of when I pressed play or fast forward). Other than that, I really enjoyed this - great pixel art and music.
This was good fun - impressive animations! Was very satisfying taking out enemies with the upgraded sword.
Never before have I encountered such intensely emotional mono-chromatic squares!
Interesting concept and surprisingly challenging! Experienced a few glitches when using the arrow keys to control (HTML5) but worked well when using mouse. I like the minimalist graphics - vaguely reminds me the game Mini Metro. The my only real suggestion would be to modify the UI - the restart button appeared to move based on the screen size and the text in the top left was not always very readable. Otherwise, I enjoyed!
This was good fun! I became immersed and spent far longer playing it than I intended. The only minor suggestion I have would be to add sort of system (colour-coding?) to make it clear when you have sufficient resources to purchase an upgrade.
Good fun though challenging! Art is very cute and nice music.
This was excellent! Good fun, great audio. I also really enjoyed your dev-log video, just subscribed!
Very impressive game to have made in such short time! Rare to see proper music in an LD game so that was a welcome surprise.
This was great fun! Unlike the person above, I was more or less fine with the speed of the tentacle.
@thevideogamester Thank you, glad you appreciated the bleakness, I had worried it might come across as a bit overbearing and pretentious.
@mrschlag2 You saw straight through me! It was that album primarily that inspired this game.
@noahw Thank you! I spent more time on that part than the rest of the game's textures combined...
@jharler Yeah, I would have loved to expand the forest area but I simply ran out of time. Thank you playing and for the feed back though.
@listonos Fun fact, the level transition effect was actually entirely unintentional - just a product of levels loading slowly when running in a web browser. Thank you for playing!
@wheybags ... I don't know what you mean by that but thank you for playing regardless!
@adisking1 Pixel art has never been my strong point so that means a lot - thank you!
@notsomecats I guess the code could be worse - I'm just such a perfectionist that implementing little hacks due to time limit really bothered me! Thank you for playing.
@netmute Wow, thank you for playing so many times! The first ending is actually deceptively simple - just travel across the bridge without talking to the man in the forest. Sorry for making you sad, but thank you for playing!
Slightly traumatised by uber driver-chan but quite a charming little game you've made!
This looks very interesting and I would love to try it out properly but it seems a lot of the text isn't rendering?
This was funny, sad, and oddly heartwarming - really enjoyed. An unexpected but very interesting take on the theme.
Great art and music! Funny, albeit kind of depressing, concept.
This was excellent! I loved the art, colour scheme, music, and the little screams as people were flung out of the roller-coaster.
