LD47 — Stuck in a loop

Infinite Dreams by OddballDave 2020-10-05T19:49:04Z

Fun little game - thank you for your excellent voice work, Pixie!

Rim of Zitra by Listonos 2020-10-05T17:41:19Z

Interest concept, I think the minimalist interface looks very nice. Like another person above said, subtitles would be nice but I totally understand that would be ambitious given the time frame.

a nice place by netmute 2020-10-05T18:41:11Z

Wonderful and charming little game! Very atmospheric, great pixel art, nice story - probably one of the best LD games I've tried out so far!

Rail Gun by jharler 2020-10-05T19:13:40Z

This was good fun! Loved the music, the neon graphics worked nicely.

LichLoop by Abregado 2020-10-05T17:22:02Z

Great concept and cute pixel art - really enjoyed!

Fly by Nakst 2020-10-06T16:57:22Z

Always love seeing something made from scratch like this - makes a nice change from the slew of Unity games I've seen so far! The minimalist art is pretty nice too.

Mr Ballman by MrSchlag2 2020-10-05T20:43:39Z

Audio is great - love the music and the sound as you charge. Was good fun to play and an interesting take on the theme.

Schrodinger and the Quantic Forest by Elrric 2020-10-06T21:18:26Z

The art and animation are excellent! Was good fun, though as others have said aiming was a little tricky.

Collateral Control by Jon_Nova 2020-10-06T18:25:31Z

Fun little puzzle game, I like the 'notebook-ish' aesthetic.

Too Hot to Handle by TheMoonrise 2020-10-06T10:12:05Z

This was great fun! Though unfortunately, just as I had nearly enough rocket parts, the game seemed to stop advancing (i.e. it remained paused regardless of when I pressed play or fast forward). Other than that, I really enjoyed this - great pixel art and music.

Cyber Curse by azagaya 2020-10-06T21:25:44Z

This was good fun - impressive animations! Was very satisfying taking out enemies with the upgraded sword.

Remorso by KewinDenian 2020-10-05T17:30:05Z

Never before have I encountered such intensely emotional mono-chromatic squares!

Lamps by Dimini Inc. 2020-10-05T16:59:51Z

Interesting concept and surprisingly challenging! Experienced a few glitches when using the arrow keys to control (HTML5) but worked well when using mouse. I like the minimalist graphics - vaguely reminds me the game Mini Metro. The my only real suggestion would be to modify the UI - the restart button appeared to move based on the screen size and the text in the top left was not always very readable. Otherwise, I enjoyed!

Stuck On The Orbit by Corporation 2020-10-05T18:56:00Z

This was good fun! I became immersed and spent far longer playing it than I intended. The only minor suggestion I have would be to add sort of system (colour-coding?) to make it clear when you have sufficient resources to purchase an upgrade.

The Witch's Tower by SparklyRainbows 2020-10-06T09:34:58Z

Good fun though challenging! Art is very cute and nice music.

Infinite Rainbow Tower Smash! by madbookstudios 2020-10-06T21:40:30Z

This was excellent! Good fun, great audio. I also really enjoyed your dev-log video, just subscribed!

Quarantine Routine by Almartmen 2020-10-05T17:10:57Z

Very impressive game to have made in such short time! Rare to see proper music in an LD game so that was a welcome surprise.

SUSHI INK. by pbootly 2020-10-05T19:39:32Z

This was great fun! Unlike the person above, I was more or less fine with the speed of the tentacle.

Creatures of the Sky by WiredSound 2020-10-05T19:06:02Z

@thevideogamester Thank you, glad you appreciated the bleakness, I had worried it might come across as a bit overbearing and pretentious.

Creatures of the Sky by WiredSound 2020-10-05T19:06:35Z

@mrschlag2 You saw straight through me! It was that album primarily that inspired this game.

Creatures of the Sky by WiredSound 2020-10-05T19:55:54Z

@noahw Thank you! I spent more time on that part than the rest of the game's textures combined...

Creatures of the Sky by WiredSound 2020-10-06T09:18:03Z

@jharler Yeah, I would have loved to expand the forest area but I simply ran out of time. Thank you playing and for the feed back though.

Creatures of the Sky by WiredSound 2020-10-06T09:19:18Z

@listonos Fun fact, the level transition effect was actually entirely unintentional - just a product of levels loading slowly when running in a web browser. Thank you for playing!

Creatures of the Sky by WiredSound 2020-10-06T09:20:04Z

@wheybags ... I don't know what you mean by that but thank you for playing regardless!

Creatures of the Sky by WiredSound 2020-10-06T09:21:50Z

@adisking1 Pixel art has never been my strong point so that means a lot - thank you!

Creatures of the Sky by WiredSound 2020-10-06T09:23:54Z

@notsomecats I guess the code could be worse - I'm just such a perfectionist that implementing little hacks due to time limit really bothered me! Thank you for playing.

Creatures of the Sky by WiredSound 2020-10-06T09:25:15Z

@netmute Wow, thank you for playing so many times! The first ending is actually deceptively simple - just travel across the bridge without talking to the man in the forest. Sorry for making you sad, but thank you for playing!

Vortex by UmutGurdal 2020-10-06T18:10:34Z

Slightly traumatised by uber driver-chan but quite a charming little game you've made!

A Ferris Wheel's Life by ADISKING1 2020-10-05T19:04:01Z

This looks very interesting and I would love to try it out properly but it seems a lot of the text isn't rendering?

A Ferris Wheel's Life by ADISKING1 2020-10-05T19:43:55Z

This was funny, sad, and oddly heartwarming - really enjoyed. An unexpected but very interesting take on the theme.

Raindrop by Arriburi 2020-10-06T11:59:41Z

Fun little game, nice art and music.

Back To Routine by Xisco 2020-10-05T20:07:00Z

Great art and music! Funny, albeit kind of depressing, concept.

Aztec Ride by Idan Rooze 2020-10-06T18:29:53Z

This was excellent! I loved the art, colour scheme, music, and the little screams as people were flung out of the roller-coaster.
