what a wholesome entry! I enjoyed collecting as much food as possible for getting Conrad to the winter, it was very nice and intuitive and the art style was also adorable. I wished there was a bit more feedback - either visually or with sfx - on the collecting part since we do it a lot of times, but I totally understand the time constraints! Overall I had a really nice time and I got attached to the hamster, very nice job!!

What an interesting game! It’s honestly quite engaging because collecting items and then digging makes me want to keep playing. I do miss a bit of animation on the hamster, even just a couple of frames, and some background music, even if it’s from third-party sources, would fit perfectly. The art is truly excellent and the game is fantastic. Congratulations on your first solo jam, great entry!

Yeah as milq said, some basic music (even if audio is opted out) and very basic animation would have made this a lot better. Still a solid entry

A very cute hamster, there was not enough lamp music and the sound of egg picking.It's a very cool tunnel-digging idea, it kept me in the game, but I'm disappointed that the final wall can't be dug.

The visuals are very cute. I was almost entirely drawn in by the visuals. However, the game lacks playability value. I feel that the room mode should at least offer some upgrade options to motivate players to perform collection actions. Additionally, the operation of "moving to the item and pressing a button to pick it up" is a bit too complex for this game; perhaps changing it to "pick up upon contact" would be better. What a cute game! By holding collecting button down the hamster became a food hoover and I felt kinship :) Beautiful art and really nice consistent style.

Very cute and thematic, now that I see the eggs I'm wondering whether anyone made an Easter-themed game. I liked how you can still see the below ground area on the bottom edge while you're collecting, would have loved to see some more interesting rooms to better reward the burrowing. And perhaps the foods could have different values.

@milq and @pschichtel : thank you so much for your feedback! I totally agree, I would have loved to add some animations and music. I'm currently getting into 2d animations, I want to make some cute handdrawn animations with procreate 💪🧡

@justuspan thank you for playing my game and the feedback! Yeeah, when I implemented the "click-to-pick-up" action, my idea was to make a more slow-paced game and maybe add some pick-up-animation, but with adding the time-limit to the room mode it now feels more arcade-like and the action seems unnecessary :laughing:

@dining-philosopher Thanks! :heart: The food actually has different values, the eggs give 1 point, the sunflower seed 2 and the dandelion root/twigs give 3 points. But I would have definitely loved to add some more variation to the rooms and show the collected food in the burrow area 🥹
