Congrats for finishing your game! I like the role you have in the party it is very original. The sounds are really funny too!
This was a treat. Very nice graphics, vfx, music and fantastic voiceovers :) Much of this has a really professional taste to it. If you guys made all the art and voiceovers etc. in the course of this jam, then this is really impressive. ..and if you didn't it is still impressive. I quickly understood the gameplay and really appreciated the guy rotating with his sword. I always wanted to keep going to see what was ahead. Very good submission.
Thank you @attala :) Yes we did everything ourselves and are pretty tired xD but was a lot of fun, I appreciate the support, cheers!
The game can be understood very fast, and the gameplay is good! It's a little too hard for me, but I'm not great at this kind of video game.
A button to skip the intro would be a nice addition!
I liked it! I'm impressed that you did all of it in just one weekend :) My GPU fans were screaming a little but I understand that a game made over a few days can't be very optimized :D However, the gameplay was fun and the sound effects were entertaining :) Good job!!
@chocolat-endive Thanks a lot for the feedback, it's really appreciated :) We do have a skip intro button, you have to hold the Enter key. It should be in the main menu but maybe it should have been visible during the intro as well!
@judith-hantisse ow sorry i did'nt see it! Nevermind, then! :D
Love the concept of just being support for the main party, though it took me a few turns to realise my team would actively kill me if I wasn't careful! Got the hang of "aiming" the knight eventually, and managed to make it to the end (although I was apparently quite slow, as the music gave up on me). Love the cutscene and the voices too, adds a lot of character to the game!
I like the idea, it's fun to play and the voice acting is a good layer on top
This was very fun to play! "walalalal-prrrr"
Good concept! The visuals are also pretty polished~ The chaos was real. Very hard to keep track of what was going on and who had what kind of behavior. (a little smaller intro room might have been nice)
Regardless, very impressive for a long weekend, would fetch staffs again.
A very cool idea! The gameplay is interesting and clear, the style is also great.:)
This was super impressive! It's always unexpected to see an LD game with such polished animations and music. The voice acting was very good, especially the wizard's. Gameplay was unique and enjoyable, even though your stupid teammates keep hurting you.
The only negative thing I can say about this is that the (awesome) music doesn't loop when it ends, so you gotta restart the game.
Also, the AI was really good too. Your teammates felt very organic. Not quite *alive*, but they didn't feel like basic dumb robots. Great job on that!
Damn!! The Tiny creatures are so lovely! The movement and action are so slick also. Super well-made visuals and enemy logics also.
I love that you can throw characters around. Good game!
A very interesting idea with very well done art! Both the characters and the setting. I like the concept that allies don't always help but are more like a burden that you have to carry.
Very cool project, good job 😌
Cool idea for a game! I like that you even had voice acting and even an opening cutscene. It was a bit choppy for me -- possibly due to too many shadowed lights or something similar? But it was nothing too severe and the game was still enjoyable to play anyways.
> Me: Trying to avoid any damage while at low hp
> Warrior: **TEST MY BLADE**
Best AI, one of the best gameplays on the jam to me so far!
I had PTSD from some groups when playing WoW, that was just fabulous. Really like the idea, and the game is fun! Nice effects, nice visuals, and of course, nice voice acting :p
i liked your 3d art, cute and atmospheric
Incredible entry! I really like the style and the 3D models, I am very surprised by all the content and work they achieved in such a short time. Without a doubt, with more time, more polish and better optimization, it would be a great game. Good job! xD
Really nice graphics, found the difficulty a bit high. But I was laughing the whole time from the lines and goofy-ness. Great job!
Amazing entry. Stylish, fun, funny and great voice acting as well. Fantastic job!
Sadly the game doesn't run out of the box with wine on linux, it looks really cool though. :/
Wow, I loved this! Awesome idea and great execution as well... one of the best submissions I encountered thus far! Art is really good, but by far my favorite aspect is the game mechanic and how it feels like it's really a party of a bunch of players who don't bother to avoid friendly fire hahaha... really fun, great job guys!!
"WHATS TAKING SO LONG, PORTER" jesus this will be stuck in my head now huge respect for creating all of art, sounds and delivering really fresh gameplay idea! I like it a lot - I think with the skills of the party you really created a very interesting dynamic - they are all somehow helpful but annoying at the same time (you would think that the healer is the best but the constant farts...). sound fx are 11/10 i loved the coin pickup sound
amazing animations and intro
i could totally see this developed into a fully fledged game and your team def has the skill to pull this off!

Very nice graphics, loved the voice acting. Such a unique idea as well. It was quite difficult with the friendly fire and AI goofiness, but I think that's the point. My only gripe is when you throw someone forward and they immediately run back to rejoin the party. Nicely done, I really enjoyed playing!
Why this such a cute cats so sad :(
enjoyed it! a unique take on strategy in the form of a dungeon crawler. I could see even more features like adding powerups that you have to toss your teammates onto etc...
the visuals were really nice and the voiced sound effects did add to the experience. I was originally confused what I was really doing for the team, but I eventually was able to keep it going, whilst avoiding my teammates killing me. overall nice game!
I like it
best experience so far, loved it
this game is where you have 2 moods... you are either laughing like a psychopath having fun or you are screaming at your 3 AI teammates for being so utterly stupid, absolutely magnificent, it looks nice, plays nice, sounds nice, everything is nice in this game, 10/10 would recommend
I would have liked if it had graphics options (because my integrated intel graphics couldn't handle the game)
Nice game, you did great
This looks magnificently silly. Unfortunately, it is not optimized for my laptop (which I used to create my entry). I was getting about 1 FPS XD It is Unreal, after all
Hopefully I have my desktop PC up and running again in a week, and I can try it properly :D
A fun game!
Good visuals and the voice over quips are funny. The gameplay gets a little getting used to because the knight just always tries to kill you - but that can be used at your advantage too. I felt the party was a bit weak, but overall I don't think thats a problem with the submission more just something to be balanced later. Well done!
I seek inner peace.
Fun game - accidentally didn't remember to use dash the first couple of times and it made the game very difficult! Especially the room just before the ending, it was quite difficult to see inside. But with the dash it was much more satisfying, getting the blade to spin through enemies then hopping out of the way!
Very pretty game of course, nice animation too - very good effort for a jam! And the voices and sound effects were well executed and funny :P I liked the literal 'carry' concept, and it was well executed - I thought from the description that it might have been too much of a chore, but it was very fun to play with the different abilities - which all had their downsides.
Great entry! Screenshot 2024-10-11 001236.png
I love the character designs!
Looks great! I felt a little low agency dealing with the Allies, so I didn't end up playing long enough to finish.
Super cool game! The characters are so cool
(@jonathandavidlewis Thanks for the feedback, we will keep it in mind for a more polished version after the jam!
What a wild ride! The concept is so clever, and the gameplay is as clear as my morning coffee, minus the chaos! 😂 The art style is impressive and then i read your releasing a polished version. I thought is was already polished. Oh, and the music? It’s like a catchy tune stuck in my head, but in a good way! Overall, great job! Keep up the amazing work!
Absolutely brilliant, the art is charming, the voice acting hilarious and the core mechanics and principle are quite fun with a deceptive depth of skill. Throwing your companions and enemies into each other came with a bit of a higher skill ceiling than I initially thought. Great stuff! Only nitpick is I feel like the novelty fell off a bit sooner than I would have hoped given how much I was giggling while I played. I think being able to spend the gold for minor upgrades, even if its just health and speed for yourself or your companions would have increased the playability a bunch more. Overall though I thought it was great! 5/5!
Hilarious game. I loved throwing Bucktavious around. The priest sfx was so funny 😂. It would be awesome if there was a webgl version of this. Great idea!
Very funny and creative take on the theme, I really like the the idea and it's executed greatly the with the slightly wonky AI that sometimes aims for you and the the stupid voicelines, it really captures the mood perfectly.
The designs are so silly I love them. the whole presentation is strong. Only thing is that I wish there were a few more voicelines for each character for the sake of variety because it did get a bit old hearing the same few voicelines by the end
At first I found it slightly frustrating but then I started learning how to use the mechanics more and more, there was a pretty surprising amount of depth, I guess I did carry the whole team in the end LOL
great entry!
This game is taking some big swings with experimental ideas in game design, which I love. I think the character design and visuals are really impressive and cewl.
Nice game,very interesting plot!!!!Nice job!!!!
The game has really impressive visuals, very funny voice acting, AI works well. Characters are different, each does their own thing (and constantly tries to kill you lol), the intended mechanics seem to work as they should. For LD this game is very awesome in my opinion. On the other hand, I think this game is a bit not for me. Too much chaos, too little control. But I understand that this can be a big plus for another player. I still got some pleasure from it! Good entry :)
The game doesn't have a fps limit - I'm sure you're already aware. I locked my fps in the driver so it wasn't an issue. Environment models are really well made, but a mostly dark-gray dungeon is visually boring. More color would be good, I think. Also it seems that unlike the other two, Bucktavius had a bit of a personal thing going on against Lelou(I wonder what happened between them outside the dungeon?). He would always try to kill me and it was annoying until I found out that I can *pick him up while he's charging the attack and toss him into a crowd of enemies in the last moment*. Oh yeah - the character designs and character models are really well done. Great job.
Thank you for bringing the worst dungeon party to the stream. I had a fine time with it :)

Very good game, i love your art ! Your game is really funny, thank you ^^
Worst party in the world? Sounds like the absolute best one to me. After coming to terms with my utter frustration I came to sincerely adore these lovable idiots. We all make mistakes sometimes, even if these mistakes lead to the gruesome death and suffering of our friends, y'know.
Amazing visuals and hilarious voice acting, too, I can't believe I stumbled upon this gem in the very last day of voting щ(°Д ° )щ
It's inspiring to play such a well made game jam game! It feels very polished with the intro animation, the audio and the graphics. It's challenging in the right way and a unique idea. I had a lot of fun carrying my team around. ^^
Aww man I really wanted to play this but my graphics card says no. There isn't a browser version I don't suppose?
@weirdbitgames Sorry to hear our game won't run for you! Unfortunately we don't have a browser version. This was my first jam in UE5 and I didn't realize how problematic the optimization would be! We'll make sure to do better next time.
@cpaz Better? No you did fine, this is only the 2nd game I wasn't able to play due to my graphics card not being up to date or good enough. The fault is mine!
Thanks for submitting your game to the stream! If you wanted to watch it again in the future heres the vod of the stream (with a chapter for your game)
