got difficult real quick, I like a challenge though :) nice work!

Cool game! I died when I saw the passive animation of the bunny shaking his tail!
Loved the feel of a first person game on a small island! Great work :D
A few things - if I try to buy something with EXACTLY enough, it won't let me buy it (probably a > change to a >=) - if you walk away from the store, you can't close the store window - audio queues would be nice - the quest screens always appearing got a little annoying - if you fulfill a quest, maybe have it disappear - when you break a rock or tree, it breaks before the swinging animation when it should be after - maybe put a little "You win!" screen at the end :)
Overall nice job, I had fun!
I love platformer games but I agree that the movement was too floaty. In the future try to make it completely apparent to the user what is happening. It took me a while to understand that I got lava to melt the ice that the ladder was frozen in.

Loved the graphics! :D
cool game! but the key guy gave me a torch when I already had one :/ I loved the retro feel and the music fit well!
It's a great feeling when a game can instill panic. Nice job! :D
love the feel of the gravity! although some planets were impossible to escape from
Number 2 on leaderboards!
Awesome game guys! Simple, yet addicting!
A few things I noticed though: - the audio of shooting was a little rough - whenever I died, the little slush bots killed me as soon as I respawned
5 starts across the board! Great work! :D
Cool game idea! Lining up the shots with the right power and angle is really awesome. Maybe add some background music in the future. Also the 's' wasn't working for me so i used the arrow keys. Overall, great job!
Fun game, visuals and audio are great! Work on gameplay to maybe change it up after a while.
Highly addictive! Too bad I suck at it :p Nice work! I would have been nice to zoom out so I could see what was coming from a bit further back
The audio got old pretty quick and the enemies felt kind of repetitive. But great job! The ship movement felt great. (Moving as a guy though felt like I was sliding on ice. Made it hard to land on the platforms)
I agree with capping the max number of NPCs so the game won't lag. Really cool concept! Nice work!
The music was odd at first but it grew on me real quick! Nice job! :)
Nice job on your first game! In the future, always leave time for gameplay testing. This is something I'm still working on. This testing would help you know if your game is too easy, too hard, stale, complicated, or anything of the sort. Keep up the good work, I look forward to next year's entry!
Awesome game! I was amazed how immersed I was in a game designed with ASCII art. Great music too! The AI was impressive, it made the enemies feel alive. (Those damn wibbles always running away haha)
Love the look of a GameBoy! Also, really cool concept with the RNG. Great game!
I found I'm pretty bad at this game XD best score I got was around 400 :p Nice work!
I like the randomly generated levels! Nice job! A couple times right when I spawned, I immediately died though
The intensity of the music absolutely killed me! Great work! Also, nice rat drawing :)
Some sounds would have made this, and maybe a score system?
Fantastic original idea! Awesome gameplay too!
WHY WON'T YOU LET ME BE GOD OF HELL just kidding :) surprisingly fun little game to poke around at. Loved the humor!
Thanks for the comments so far guys! I changed the game so that when you are the red ant, it's virtually impossible for the day to reset. When you are the red ant you must find where the dirt is leaking from the ceiling and press SPACE bar on it to patch it.
I must warn you after you win as the red ant the game gets kinda weird haha. This is mostly due to my sleep deprivation. Thanks again for playing and I enjoy all feedback!
@dwemthy Thanks for playing and for the feedback!
In most games I make I always have a cascading if-else sequence for checking keyboard buttons. This is what causes the weird controls you were talking about. I think you're right that the last pressed key should always override. Thanks again for the input!
Seemed cool, but couldn't figure it out. Maybe a little more instruction or speed up the game play
Pretty challenging but it seems like there is a skill to it after a while ;) Maybe make it a little easier for noobs like me :D
Was confused as to what I was doing, but I loved the music it was making :D
The controls felt a little weird but the animations and graphics/audio made up for it!
The audio was hilarious! :D Nice job, surprisingly addicting! I liked the small detail of the ducks going around the world. It made it feel like an actual sphere and not just a circle.
OMG 5 stars all the way for humor my friends! Absolutely hysterical!
You sir hands down have the best theme-related game I've played so play! I died pretty early on and it took me about 4 or 5 tries to win (that guard near the first key is a pesky one!).
I agree with some of the other comments in that the player movement and guard movement should be synced, but then again, I liked the feel it gave knowing that I couldn't control when the guard would move. I think some background music behind the four notes would have made this game. Overall well done!
At first I was like, "okay cool concept" but then I died and was like, "damn this is getting hard". I was quickly entranced and determined to get past some of the difficult spots
Trying to turn around and quickly type out the command "JUMP" was panic inducing and I loved it! If only I didn't type so slow, I might have gotten further :p
interesting concept! but yes I agree that the controls were a little challenging on a qwerty keyboard
the arrows kept coming out of the player's starting position instead of their current position and my character wouldn't grab the ball unfortunately :(
Thanks for the comments so far guys, I think my program might have a slight memory issue so I uploaded a batch file that runs the game so long as it is in the same directory as the jar file. This should fix any issues with the freezing/not running
I noticed that I couldn't shoot through the branches to target other trees.
Nice low-poly models and cool particles! (I'm a sucker for particle explosions)
