Nice game and clever mechanic! really nice! i liked the minimalistic graphics. It would be great if it had audio!
Really cool game concept with clever puzzle ideas and mechanics! I love the minimalistic art and the effort you put on the 3D design. I found the keyboard controls a little bit strange since you move with Q-D, but you can adopt it quite easily. The game's difficulty escalates kinda quickly but this is what makes it challenging! It, also, fits completely to the theme since i stuck in the loop of the fourth level xD (just kidding). Overall, it's a great game! Very good job!
Thank you very much for your feedbacks! For those who would want to play a enhanced version, we fixed some slight bugs and added audio and FX on the new version on itch.io!
great game, interesting idea, good!
A really cool game with some neat puzzles! After I beat one of the levels with a past me (I think it was the first one where you have to do this), it vanished and I was locked in the next level without a character to control.
For fairness's sake, I played the jam version and not the post-jam fix. I'm assuming Q for left is fixed in that version :)
I enjoyed the concept - it starts with something that's been done quite a lot, but then I realized I needed to time handovers of the box, forming a kind of a relay chain with myself. That's a cute feature! Sadly, I did find it clunky enough to dissuade me from finishing the third level (though I did manage to launch myself into the stratosphere that one time, which was fun). The game works well graphically. I don't know if it's intentional or not, but the very edges of the screen just display clamped colors as if the game was rendered to a texture that's slightly smaller than the screen size. Bug or not, it's and interesting effect, somehow even tying in a bit to the "loop" theme.
Thank you for your game :)
@snailrhymer Thank you for playing it ! Oh that is a weird bug, did you try to restart the game ? I think it's because you didn't pass on the level end block, always make sure you activated the checkered block at the ned of each level.
@dhavavamba Thank you very much !
@azagaya If you want more audio and fx you can play the post jam version also on the itch.io page ^^ We basically just added that and corrected typos. Thank you for playing it!
@nectanebo Thank you very much for playing it and your valuable feedback ! The keyboard controls were fixed in the post jam fix build, it's because we are french and use ZQSD keyboards x)
@eden-shazar Thank you very much for playing it and for your valuable feedback! Yup that's fixed in this version x) Oh really it's been done quite a lot ? I don't recall many games using this, we tryied to make something original no one would do for the jam, but if you say so. Oh really you found it clunky ? Did you understand how to throw the block up if you aim up with the stick / W ? This level isn't supposed to be hard but maybe that's just our developer point of view.
Oh and the effects on the borders of the screen is not volunteer it's because of a post process we use but oh well it's not a issue so we left it.
Thank you for playing it !
@kaldrin Sounds like I was just brainfarting on that one then, because I didn't realize aiming up was a thing. Maybe I was too fixated on the funny Q-D combination. I guess someone has to lower the average player skill!
@eden-shazar No you're right, with a controller joystick this mechanic is obvious but I didn't think of the keyboard player who wouldn't have much reason to try to use W at this moment, I guess we'll just add a sign for the aim commands !
Funny game. Love game idea, very cool😄
Well realized. I found the controls very responsive. Really great and net entry for this jam.
@fax Thank you for playing it ! :D
@dak001 Thank you very much!
Heya! Thanks for submitting your game to my stream at [twitch.tv/drjavasaurus](wwww.twitch.tv/drjavasaurus) ! I had a lot of fun playing your entry. This is great work and a lot of fun ! Surely there's some physics bugs happening where not everything is happening exactly as I remember doing it, but that is a typical "not a bug, it's a feature" situation. Unpredictable behavior? I'd call it added difficulty ! Either way, the game looks really well built and it feels ready. The puzzles are fun and it's cool that multiple solutions can be found for puzzles! Well done.
@javasaurus Thank you very much for playnig our game and for the feedback, it was fun to watch you play it! We are very proud of our entry and are glad you had fun playing it! Yeah sadly the inputs of the ghosts are not always 100% exactly the same as yours for some reason, but we'll work on it! We built a systemic system with these ghosts and elements so you can find multiple solutions to puzzles, and we are glad it works!
Very cool concept that has been seen throughout the LD games (ghosty friend platformer). What your game takes advantage in is a very clear execution of the gameplay, great and very handy controls and almost spot-on level difficulty increase. Tutorial is also very cool. Played on Xbox controller without any issues. Work on some music and more levels. Job well done!
@mikoziq Thank you very much for playing it! We were a little sad to see we were not the only ones to think about our concept, though we are quite proud of how neatly we managed to execute it, with the physics and controls! I am glad to see you could play it without any issue! And we are working on these ;) Thanks!
Simple yet cool. I've always liked games that combine 2D and 3D styles. Great job!
@doctorhummer Thank you for playing it!
@kaldrin Thank you for making it!
Really enjoyed this. The puzzles took a bit. I started out with controlling via keyboard, but as mentioned the gamepad makes it a LOT more reasonable. The puzzles were well done and had a good increase in difficulty between levels.
I'm not a huge fan of puzzle games normally, but I enjoyed this one quite a bit. The minimalist graphics work really well. I liked the gradual how there was a gradual buildup in difficulty but that I was still learning something every level. The player animations are pretty funny to watch too!
Thanks for submitting your game for me to play on my livestream! Sorry for the dropped frame choppiness D:

Thank you very much @aflatthrasher ! Glad to hear you enjoyed it! And yeah we will try to make it as ergonomic as possible for keyboard but we can't help we designed it for a gamepad ^^;
@blue05 Thank you very much for playing it! Glad to hear our puzzle game was enjoyable even for people like you! And we are proud of how neat our graphics and how funny our animations are ^^
@elysiagriffin Thank you again for testing our game, it was a pleasure to watch someone play it live as much as it was insctructive on how to improve it!
I really like the game! But I think that there is a bug in the walking you can only move one side on computer.
I really liked the game idea man!
I think you could tell it was engaging by my determination to beat that last but one level on stream! A few little bits to nit pick, such as the level grace period when jumping! Maybe some indication that you're close to running out of time too (flashing or pulsing of the number). nice puzzle game though, being able to interact with the same objects between current and previous lives is a nice touch.
@botskills101 Thanks a lot for playing it, we're glad you like it! And that's because the controls are WASD not ZQSD, you can go to the left with A, we hesitated but in the end more people were playing WASD so we decided to make them like this ^^ We will add a feature to change the inputs in the game in the future.
@rushikesh-charapale Thank you very much!
@honest-dan Thank you very much again for playing it, it was a pleasure to see you test it on stream! We added the grace period and added more indications in this level so it's less confusing x) We're glad you liked it, thank you!
Really great idea and such a fun execution! Loved the effects and the silly walks :3
@harry-alissavakis Thank you very much for playing it! We had fun with the animations and the physic xD
Cool game, the looping system was nice and the physics were fun to play around with, I liked the addition of the controller support as well!
@blue-pin-studio Thank you for playing it, glad you liked it !
Awesome game! I like the minimalistic style and the screenshake with the sound effects feels great. I had to try the level with the death zone a couple of times, because the given time was barely over the time I took to finish it, but it felt pretty good once I made it to the finish line. Great job!
@hybitous Thank you very much for playing our game! We're glad you liked it! And yeah this level lacks affordance and is a little difficult, we'll improve it in a new build!
Most well executed example of the 'ghost' mechanic that I've seen this jam! This would be a good candidate for a full game!
@m-dam Thanks a lot <3 We're secretly working on this eheh
Thank you for this Portal and Braid vibes :) Love how funny the game is!
@gamescodedogs We didn't even play braid, I don't know what kind of vibe it has xD But you're welcome, thank you for playing it, glad you liked it!
great game very funny i enjoyed it
@huntrox Thank you for playing it! And for enjoying it :D
The character's movements are cute. The design of the puzzle is also interesting.
@yhy-games Thank you for playing it!
Very Very Nice. This has got to be one of the best games in the jam. Its almost certainly the most polished game I have seen. The graphics are really nice, and the level design is great.
A couple things that I think would be a good addition are a pause button and a way to reset just the layer you are on instead of having to clear the whole loop sequence. Sometimes I was doing really well and then slipped up somewhere and had to restart the whole level.
Regardless this is one of my favorite games that I have seen yet. Good Job.
@daspikeyboss Thank you very very much for playing it! We feel really flattered <3
And I'll agree with you 100% on your suggestions, will do that!
Wow this is Superbe !
One of the best games I played, or maybe even the best. It was a pleasure to play until the end.
With my teammate we used Plastic SCM for Version control, it was actually super nice to collaborate ! Sad to hear that Github crashed your project 4h before submission. But anyways you'll continue development which is a good news to test the game in a "better shape" in a near future!
The little character animation is super nice and the overall "polishness" very impressive when you know it was done in 72h. The game is super clean, especially when you move by being on the box flying in the airs, pretty solid physics I would say :flag_dz:
About the Reset @daspikeyboss was talking about, I'm not 100% sure that the player should be able to reset only one layer, maybe it will kill the tension, precision of the game. In other words : The Gamplay Core loop is timed, so if you add endless resets foreach layer, maybe it will break the strong gamplay core loop you have.
Also I really like the responsiveness of everything a lot. For example when you Reset it's like an instant reset with just some particles.
Another little comment : I think it could be better to start the counter only when the player starts to move or goes out of the starting zone. So the CUE to start the loop is not just after the reset. It starts when the player is engaging an action; Which makes more sense because the whole game is about actions delayed in time.
I guess a bit of post-processing for the "juiciness" as you said. And maybe some other game elements and levels. btw it's really cool you had the time to do a level editor.
Is there a place on the internet or discord or whatever where you are planning to make the levels made by people available ? If you have a minute, I really would love to hear your opinion the game we did. :-)
Great job gg !
@satolas Wow thank you very for your very long and kind feedback <3 Plastic SCM ? I'll look it up, thanks a lot for sharing it!
Yeah we love our character too eheh, and it was in our objective for this jam to have a polished game! The physics are 3D, ways more simple to implement and tweak, we had some issues with it but I'mn really proud of how clean our code was in the end and how easy it was to modify it for the physics to respond correctly!
Oh yeah I'm not 100% sure neither about this you're right but I think an option to at least finish early the current loop would be a good addition ^^
Yeah for the reset responsiveness we'll probably add a very quick rewind effect or such so it's more juicy but it works well like htat and I'm glad you liked it ^^
Ah that is actually a nice suggestion, we will think about it, for the loop to start only if the player moves!
And we plan for other game elements definitely, it's so easy to implement with our code, we are hyped to create more levels and make it a full game!
And about the levle editor, it was more for the flex for the jam, we will one for sure but we will rewrite it entirely ^^ But when it will be in the game there will be for sure a way to browse and play people's levels! Probably a steam workshop or so ^^
We are currently working on other projects so this one will be on the side for now but we really want to continue to develop it!
Thanks a lot <3 Will try your game for sure!
Good job, the concept works quite well and the controls and different mechanics are introduced nicely. The game looks really minimalistic and clean, distinctively colored interactive elements and even details like the particles when moving  At some points there seemed to be some weird texture wrapping going on. Like pointed out in previous comments at some point I stood around and waited for the timer to pass and tried buttons to skip it, but given the length of the time it's only nice to have. In regards of throwing of the cubes I would have preferred the control the direction with the mouse or the second analog stick, as I sometimes fell off of things when trying to aim.
@emk4 Thank you very much!
Ah yeah the texture wrapping is a slight issue on the edges of the screen right ? Fixed in upcoming version ^^ We will add an option to end the current loop early yeah, that's a nice idea! Ah yeah the cube, we have yet some adjustments to make to throw it, we'll keep in mind your suggestions!
