Great game, and a very unique way of implementing combat!

really enjoyed this game, the minigames are fun and just feel rewarding, I played too many super hard games so far this game feels like a fresh air lol, the arrows puzzle was a bit difficult to understand but other than that I really enjoyed rushing into the fight!!

Took me a moment to realize you have to touch the enemies to engage in combat - I was trying to find an attack button. Once I did, the combat mechanics were great!

Nice entry! Mini games are intuitive, you quickly know what to do. Music is a bit repetitive but it's ok. That's really cool to be able to change your class regularly! Congratulations!

Once I realised I was meant to attack the enemies rather than avoid them the mini games were a nice idea and felt engaging. Great work

Nice game! I think it could be amazing if you had to avoid traps in the dungeons, between mini games. Still, great ideas, congrats!

Nice game. It was fun. I liked the idea of how the characters changed based on their stats. It would certainly be nice if it was reflected in the gameplay.

Oh, great idea! I like lvl design. I was missing information how to play. It took me while to figure out what to do. I like main character. He is well drawn. Music is a little bit repetitive. And minigames was great!

Very nice concept! I don't really understood how the strenght, intelligence and dexterity worked, or if it's just about changing our apparence. But it's still fun to play, good job to your team!

Fun concept. Good realization.

Loved the combat mechanic !

The game is fun good job :)

I'm loving seeing other entries do minigames! I really like the "minigames as combat" concept. It ended up feeling a bit easy -- I beat 40 enemies without feeling like I was ever at any risk of losing. But I liked the minigames enough to do them 40 times!

The minigame combat is an interesting idea, but I didn't quite understand the class system :(

feynallein 2022-10-12 19:31

@patomkin and to everyone: the class system reduces minigames difficulties. Each statistic is linked to a minigame ! We would've like to develop this a little bit further but with the little time we had, we made it really simple. We really wanted to have the player changing it's class and skin over time though haha! Also, yeah the difficulty needs to be tweaked but we didn't had time to do that many playtests! Thank you all for your feedbacks and for playing our game! It has been our first gamejam and first game and we loved it!

Very good job for the first jam! Congrats!

lepoulet 2022-10-14 18:47

It remind me some minigames of Among Us and its a good thing. Good job !

Already when I started up the game I got hyped by the music  :musical_note: The graphics are nice and consistent.

The mini games are cute. I especially liked the one with the arrows. The other ones felt more like chores. For the "Click me" task, it was not clear how long you have. I did like how the player's class and sprite changed when distributed the points, but it was not clear what effect that had, if any.

I didn't really get the point of the map/maze, I missed an overall goal. Also, the waves of enemies didn't really seem to matter that much, it didn t matter if I didn't defeat all of them in 10 seconds, so there was no rush to defeat them. The enemies would sometimes get stuck on each other.

I killed 42 enemies before losing on purpose. When I played again, the player still had the old sprite, and no enemies spawned.

Overall, nice job, and especially for a first jam game!
