Very fun game, the only nitpick would be the input lag from jumping. However, in the end, it didn't even matter since I just kept running around spamming jump until I got to another checkpoint. Really good job
Great mechanic and I love that your dude becomes more gold as you collect it. Great job! Sound effects are very fitting for the game too!
Very cute and hits the nostalgia feels. One small critique would be to change the box collider to be the size of the tiles. Picking up coins with my head was weird lol. Good job and I love the gameboy frame!
The art in this game is very polished. Even the itch.io game page is well done. The artist obviously put a lot of work into this. I really like it and reminds me of The World Ends With You kind of. I would definitely try to improve on the combat as that's the focal point of the game. Thanks for the awesome submission!

Controls were a little wonky, but I like the art style. I got cornered by two dogs right away and couldn't get out of the corner lol. Great submission and very creepy music!

My first Ludum Dare and first compo! Uploaded at the last minute, so sorry about the small description. =)
New guitarists are assigned with random costumes and random guitars. Each guitar has a different jam and nailed it riff. Eight members will join the band with five guitar and five costume combinations total! (Even though the banjo shares the riffs with the acoustic, ran out of time lol)
@nammflow I will definitely be changing the way the main rhythm mechanic works. I will add more solos before adding new guitarists as well as the bar will go green for a set duration in a random place. That way it'll add it as more reflex to the game and panic as you won't have so much time to prepare to remember their corresponding letter. Thanks for playing my game!

I love the pixel art! so cuteeee and the game was a lot of fun. Very interesting concept.
The shooting felt good, but the AI was a little too hard. After death the enemies were still locked on me and came to attack me and my babies! Great game, and I'd be interested in seeing this continued. =)
Yeah, I definitely like the concept as well. I agree with others saying that it's pretty difficult. Maybe have a couple of levels with the letters apart from each other on the board that way they still spell nothing.

Great story, great aesthetic, and my favorite part was the music! Brilliant idea to layer the tracks and bring in new instruments on each level. I was honestly ready to give up until that guitar came in and wowed me. Fantastic idea!
Adorable game, I love the old school arcade vibe that I get from this game. Even the music fits the game very well. Nice, simple game and I look forward to a potential expansion of the game, maybe?

@lexyvil, points go up depending on your overall speed and if you are actually able to catch some of the skiers before the trees do. The bigger your snowball, the faster you are and more points you gain!
Wonderful game work. I actually laughed out loud after dying, "you faillled me"! lololol. Great work on this fun little game. It did crash when I switched from no way mode to easy mode. Not sure if it can be replicated. Really, really great entry to Ludum Dare!

I love the background music and very interesting concept of a game. A little hard to get used to at first, but I caught on realizing I needed to preemptively shoot to get my dude where I wanted. Very cool!
Great game design in introducing mechanics. I love the idea of having those instructions being dragged out. Forcing players to figure it out without beating their heads on the keyboard is amazing! Music has a nice groove and sounds mischievous. Very fun game, great work everyone!

I got to a point where I was making cakes like a mad man and had like eight pastry shops back to back, but couldn't keep up with the demand of my delicious treats. However, at some point a bug happened and I could no longer click on the customers. Each spawned customer wouldn't highlight or have their trade popped up. The buildings were fine, not sure if it's a bug with a pooling system (if you're using one). Otherewise, I put in like 15 minutes into the game so good job!
Very funny voice acting and perfect mood music for this type of game. I am terrible at this game as I get too impatient, but that's only my fault. Good work!
Really interesting project, I think the ambient music sounds great and the clicking sound effect is very effective. I also like the visual effect on the text itself after clicking it.
Great aesthetic and feel with this game! I love the ambience of the soundtrack and the first time I was chased by an enemy was very exciting. Great work!
That last level was a doozy! I don't know if I was really playing the game right, but I did end up finally beating it. Not sure where the dash was coming into play and I could randomly double jump which helped getting through the game a little bit easier. A great entry all in all and I like the little background tune!
I think the theme was missed here a little, but the game was realllly well done. It was a ton of fun and I loved the mass shoot outs that happened when you take your dude in the middle and start shooting. Good job especially for a compo. Keep up the great work!
It's frustrating waiting for the right vegetable (or fruit). However, this game is a lot of fun and I played until I literally couldn't fill a plate fast enough from the pile of bodies on the hunting range. Good work! =)
The art is fantastic! I love everything about a good farming game. I had the same idea to mix horror with farming and even had the title "Blood Moon", but couldn't think of how the gameplay would be. I think it was smart to use the enemy wave/tower defense like gameplay. Fantastic work!
I like playing in the dark. Very easy game to pick up and play. The camera might need to be a little less sensitive and I couldn't see the bullets for some reason. Great job though for compo! I like the little car models, very cute.

Wonderful game, I would love to download this as a mobile game and play it on my phone. Wonderful graphics, music and overall mood. I may be missing the theme just a bit, but overall what a fun game!
The timing is a little off for the cars/sound the second time or so, but overall great game. Hilarious monologue and little depressing items.
I'm a little disappointed that the music wasn't made by you because it really ties it all together. Awesome art and feelz for the game though. Really well done.

@maximebugman That's a wonderful idea for a timeline. Something like a course map that shows the ball in real-time with the flag at the end. I'll add that the to-do. The stun lock will definitely be worked this weekend. =)

The AI seems to be bugged and stops at the same beginning part of the map each time I played. I can't tell if there's a difference between the towers power-wise, but man I will never play another bird tower (that sound is so shrill).

Great game! Definitely challenging! I think the art is simple, but effective as you give a great amount of detail to player response with the camera shaking for wrong. Keep up the good work!
I played for awhile, because this game is actually fun. Great job! I love the fleeing ingredients and it was fun to open fire on some cheese =). A quick suggestion would be to add differing points depending on how fast you fulfilled the order. If that was happening, I apologize as I may have not noticed through my frantic clicking and shooting lol
