That was an interesting game, to say the least!
My feedback: 1. Maybe subtitles. Sometimes I lost track of what was being said (big words being used) 2. Because audio was a big feature of the game, when the cars would drive by, I'd hear the initial spawn behind me, but then nothing as they drove by. Was a little weird.
Good job!
Those freaking cars kept jump scaring me!
Great game guys! I loved the mood and the setting.
Good game! I forgot the cars were still a thing and scared me when they passed by. xD
good result for 72 hours! nice!
The timing is a little off for the cars/sound the second time or so, but overall great game. Hilarious monologue and little depressing items.

Excellent combination ! I would have also liked some subtitles.
This is basically my favourite game from LD41 so far. The walking feels a little too slow, but then this game is all about not being in any hurry. Very good job, really emotive.
Every detail in this was perfect. I was especially pleased when I turned around and the big red wrong way sign showed up. One of the more unique LD entries. Really amazing job.

The visuals and the narration are beautiful! Though, I could not understand the bigger picture D: but that's just me haha. As was mentioned, subtitles would perhaps be of great help. Nonetheless, great entry!
I’m not sure if you were able to see it, but I played your game on my stream at https://www.twitch.tv/saoigames tonight.
The Tone of this game was great. The first time I loaded this game however the controls didn't work. I thought I was watching the banana monologue as cars passed it on the road. When I tried again I was able to walk and that made the experience even better. I loved the voice over, and the ability to talk to the Mario Kart items.
I would have liked to see the ending more succinct. Ending while the character is still talking and switching to the new music felt very jarring and lost the mood of the game. Letting the dialogue hang with some silence before the ending, and fading into the end music might have worked better.
Overall good game!
Our game: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/toaster-boy it would be awesome if you could feature it!
Hilarious, the first really good comedy game that I've seen this jam, and also probably the game that puts the best emphasis on the "incompatible" part of the theme. Love that narration! Good job!

Well, that's quite a "straight forward" Walking simulator :). I agree that the end is a bit abrupt (but the idea is very good). Nice game :).
I've also used the walking simulator as one of the genre, I let you discover the other one if you like: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/pilgrimage
Absolutely hilarious! Everyone did a good job. >:)

This is really funny, everyone I showed it to loved it!
XD good one !
One of the few 5-stars I've given out for Theme. Tbh I was hoping to grow into a giant and just stomp on cars when I saw the mushroom, but alas. Definitely a unique setting for a walking simulator that I haven't seen before so it had a lot of novelty going for it.
