this is nice, I restarted it a few times to check how to connect the different parts/conveyor belts correctly. Although its a 'simple' idea, it is pretty challenging with the time limit especially if you try to plan ahead for the next stage :)

Very nice entry for this Jam. Congratulations. I stop the game at 373 points. I recommand.

Just BTW, the game isn't endless @fax, if you play for 5 minutes it ends and submits your score to a leaderboard.
Quite fun, challenging to figure out how to make the multi colored boxes but I got it after some time. Sadly my antivirus blocked the score submition... Also its not 10 seconds seems like its 60 seconds each round.
Neat concept! I like games like this. Wasnt sure what all of the different factories did, but figured out some of them! 60 seconds a round felt a little short to remove and build new, maybe an auto clear feature after each round would help? Good Job!

@digitaldude555 The inputs spawn every 10 seconds :p The antivirus thing is... unfortunate :s I didn't think that could be a problem.

Nice game, love this kind of factory/optimization games, really nice touch with the Zachtronics style histogram in the end! I feel like the balance is a bit skewed as you can't accumulate a *ton* of points during the stage where you need to build green 1x1 squares as I think you get points per returned object, so 4x the points vs the final stage for example. But yea I had fun and on my third attempt I managed to get a reasonable score (at least for the current competition :D)

nice entry overall! could probably benefit from a bit more explanation about what each machine does, some are obvious, others not so much.

Love the game! Although I am not very good at it ^^' Every time I created the desired output, the desired output changed a long time ago. Then again: I see what the appeal is and I love the idea! Makes the game very chaotic at the end and I love that.
A view points of feedback: - I don't like that you have to press R to rotate the conveiorbelt. I would expect that you have to press '2' a view times to get the desired rotation - I'm missing some music. Although I can see why, this is a game very impressive from a technical standpoint.

Great entry for the Jam. I really like the mood of your game.
Cool factorio sort of automation game, and I really like the addition of showing the next target. It allowed me to plan ahead a bit, nice entry!
Unfortunately Norton keeps removing the application file of your game :(

@codeforjoycaro the only answer is to uninstall norton :p
Just a heads up, the provided executable requires net core in order to run. It'd be nice if this app ran without additional resources.
Nice concept, would like to see it expanded into a full game. As another said it really gave off a zacahatronics feel which was great. Good job!
Woah super impressive submission! I think tutorial would be nice, but the way it is I had to infer and test stuff which was fun also. Music woulda made this for sure, the ending was a bit of a jump scare, just cause I was staring intently at my machine:) Nicely done!
(in a rush to test many, don’t mind the cursory style)
1. "Place factories and conveyor belts to automate crafting" -> never played *Factorio*, but I believe this is very reminiscent! 2. on capture, "TARGET" and "NEXT": useful indications that remind me of *Tetris* 3. seeing the icon for ld51.exe -> ah, MonoGame! 4. no sound? :o 5. mmm, I got the controls from the game page (and they are simple and well thought, in my opinion), but the way the game is played is not obvious to me 6. 2nd time: got it thanks to checking capture again! I really think some indication for **input orientation** (such as subtle arrows) would help (later: I mean more obvious subtle arrows, if that makes any sense X) See below!) 7. I like how the products/items/target and structures are very intuitive! Understood all even before using them (which tells a lot!), EXCEPT for structure 3 (the circle): what is it? 8. figured the three first rounds and managed a perfect score, I think; then, it became taxing to destroy everything and rebuild it (speed took over reflection, to sum it up), so… I somewhat gave up in a red-blue-green mess of a meta-factory! X) 9. A thought: achieving a perfect score means you are able to have the beginning of the next system working during the last 10 seconds of the previous round 10. my semi-lazy attempt still led me to 301 (considering this is a first run, the previous one was the ‘dumbfounded’ experience one XD). I guess already knowing the next stages (provided they are not randomised, but even then, the possible target items are in finite number!) can help you get a perfect score, and apparently, some people were already close to it (or even succeeded?). Lazying my way to the mean.
**Takeaway:** I already knew there are such factory/procedural building games out there; this one already feels like its own self well-made coherent system. Both the controls and the internal concepts (items + operations) all feel super intuitive at first sight (once again, except structure 3, at least for me :p), which is a little feat! Still, some indication in HOW the factories are operated would help the first time (to get where the input side is, either visually or explicitly; I know there are already little arrows on the factories, but I did not notice! Maybe have them MOVE, I think!). Showing what item comes next is a great feature! It still let speed rather than reflection get the upper hand towards (or even exactly at!) the middle of the game, where you need to catenate several operations, which can be overwhelming, but since the game is about scoring and producing quantity, I guess the speed route rather than puzzle route is more logical. Also, too bad there is no sound to give life to the madness of this abstract factory!
A very coherent and pithy take at the theme through assembly-line work, thank you. :)

I'm a huge fan of Factorio, so when I saw the thumbnail for this game I was seriously excited. The execution here is great! Its a fun mix of thoughtful planning for the future and frantic action of trying to get as much throughput as possible in the 60 seconds you're given per product.
I'm very familiar with this genre, but it still took me a bit of experimentation to figure out what some of the buildings do. It might be helpful to provide a short description of what each structure does, which would be especially helpful for people who may not have played a similar game in the past. Additionally, I've found that putting perhaps an hour into audio work (in your case, maybe to make a short background track and a couple of sound effects for buildings being placed or products being delivered) over the course of the jam makes the end product feel just that bit better, so in the future I'd definitely recommend it!
With that said, those are my only real criticisms. This game is awesome! I especially loved the data at the end that displayed which scores are most common. I played it a few times and managed to get a score of 578, which I was pretty happy with. My designs had some issues (I think I could have doubled my score in the last level by adding a second set of blue-half-bottom producers and top-half bottom-half combiners to match the throughput of the two top 1/4 producers... wow its hard to write that in a way that makes sense), so I'll definitely play this again tomorrow and try to surpass 600 points. Its rare that a Game Jam game has me coming back for seconds, and that points to the quality of this entry!
