I have a soft spot for games that allow me to upgrade weapons. I liked that I only had 10 wormholes and had to decide how many shuttles to take on before leaving. Nice game. Thanks for making it.
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD51 → Escape From Planet Earth!

I could play this game for some time. I died far in, but I liked how you had to keep track of everything. This was a fun game to play! Nice game!
Nice progression. The sound effects were a lot louder than the music, but I like some of the hand drawn feel of the art!
Nice control of little spaceship and nice game. Only one moment, that i want to shot by myself ha ha. Kepp it up!
Great game! It felt very good to play! I enjoyed upgrading my weapons.
I like games like this where i just get to get way to powerful. Fun game and concept
Overall good game but got boring after awhile. Good scores in all except Humor as the game is deathly serious my family was killed in an evacuating space ship
I, being dumb, thought for far too long that the shuttles were enemies too. It was /so/ satisfying to upgrade my weapons and gear. I quickly outpowered the enemy waves and I would /love/ to see them match my firepower quicker. Really cool game 👍👍
good game but like the quit button didnt work lol and I have an instinct to press those for some reason
This was a fun game to play! It's quite a unique idea and I enjoyed leveling up. It would be nice to get an indicator on how many credits I will get when using the wormhole. Good job :)
Enjoyed the story and atmosphere!.
Gud idea for game bro
Like the concept and the arts for the game
I like the atmosphere (pun intended). Although the UI seems to be scaling wrongly for me in the HTML version at least, and if going full screen the background is cut off on the sides and it shows blue there.
great idea, graphics are nice, but feels a bit slow sometimes. Then again that was somewhat dictated by the theme
Fun! Liked that I was able to do different upgrades and stuff, was a bit confused at first by the UI and the objective but onceI figured that out it was really fun :D
The game feels very balanced for a gamejam entry. With only 10 wormholes and you having to decide how/when to use them. Good entry! Also as many people said, simply love upgrade systems.
Really like the space atmosphere. I think it was the controls and graphics that really created a nice space feeling. I feel a bit like the mouse controls did not as good of a job at highlighting the great weapons as keyboard controls could have.
I like the setting and plot idea. Gameplay though didn't feel very engaging. Essentially it's just waiting and the shooting doesn't feel too fun. Missiles felt weak and the other weapons being off-center were quite hard to aim and you'd have to essentially choose to aim only one at a time while the others kept shooting into nowhere. Upgrades were fun, but linking credits earning with the waiting time means that there's no agency over what you earn and it reduces everything to a waiting game. Credits might instead be linked with enemies killed. That would make it feel like what you do has more meaning. Wish some polish and quality of life improvements I can see how this could be quite fun!
At first it seemed pretty boring to me, but as soon as I understood the concept that I could properly upgrade myself, I was suddenly hooked. Couldn't the ship be in the middle rather than in the corner? It would be a shame not to use the space to the right of the ship. Anyway, good job
Loved the spacey atmosphere, I wish the UI was a bit more responsive (some feedback when buying stuff, at first I thought the buttons did not work).
Very nice how there are multiple variables to keep track of while trying to shoot down the aliens. Well done!
Upgrading was nice but waiting for missiles from start is little bit boring. Instead of waiting for missiles to launch automatically you could have fire button with upgradable cooldown. This how player has the control when and how those missiles are used.
I would like different sounds for the shoot. Anyway, good job.
Fun little game, i like the upgradability, good job !
Nice job! I tried easy and hard difficulties, and found easy too easy and hard too hard. Limiting the player to flat rate of 10 money/10 seconds made the game fell more like waiting than playing, especially on easy. Still, a very nice entry overall!
Thanks for all the feedback, everyone!
@jirrev lol, yeah, I did a dumb and forgot to scale the canvas! :-P
@denvil Good idea!
@skel3ton lol, yeah, kicking myself for not putting it in the middle! That plus a camera zoom out feature would have been prime changes. But, y'know, jam timecrunch :-)
@crwohlers Agree - same excuse really tho - very little time for playtesting and balancing!
The upgrade path feels great - love that sense of increasing power! Knowing when to activate the wormhole to buy upgrades and refresh the ship makes for really interesting choices in the play. It felt a little slow for the first couple of rounds (I wanted to do more) but really picked up after a few. Fun!
Nice little game, the shooting feels a bit weird, but works overall. I like you can defend yourself with the drone.
Quite fun game! The automatic shooting is a bit of a downside, but all the other aspects of the game are great!
The progression is nice, fun concept with the shuttles every 10s! Do wish there was a bit more control over shooting, or if not, that the game had a bit more action from the start
Really fun!!
Interesting game. It has a very solid and functional gameplay. The upgrade system is really fun. Clearly you have here a good arcade prototype, which could be the start of a bigger project.
The graphics are functional, as is the sound. Good job!
