LD56 — Tiny Creatures (6)

Creature Packets by KenForest 2024-10-08T20:07:35Z ♥ 1

This is the best game I have played so far. Think I'm bugged though as I've only got 1 option in the vending machine for the first job (microworms). Maybe I've missed something but I'm gonna give this another go. Really amazing visuals and dystopian vibes!

Sworm Game by Angrybeard 2024-10-08T19:58:11Z ♥ 1

This is a really unique and cool approach to rts. It's pretty hard though... or I'm just shit. I keep getting my arse kicked lol. Would be cool to see you expand on this:)

BeeGone by Sylf 2024-10-08T19:52:37Z ♥ 3

This is really cool! I wasn't able to play with a mic (my issue, not the game fyi), so found the controls a little difficult. But this is a really cool take on the theme! Also, that last flower grew in a really strange spot! lol!

Tiny Economy by Hawkin 2024-10-08T19:47:37Z ♥ 1

I had fun! I'll be honest and admit I've never played Dorfromantik, but I have played Islanders. So I did struggle to grasp it initially. I think with some more microeconomics in place it could be a really good, relaxing game. Really impressive that you did this within 72 hrs!

I also made a casual, relaxing game this year so It's nice to see this :)

Mighty Mice by Chartle 2024-10-08T08:33:55Z ♥ 1

This was a fun game, SFX and music would definitely help you out, but overall I enjoyed it

Little Crew by Noah Vonk 2024-10-08T08:21:14Z ♥ 1

Nice little game, I found myself wanting to beat it just to see what happened at the end. I enjoyed the endgame screen! Also, think I hit a bug on my last painter as I somehow rescued 5 at once lol.

10 seconds checkmate by Persegan 2022-10-09T08:35:34Z ♥ 2

That was a great game, had a lot of fun! I love the graphics & the feel of each weapon. Only feedback would be that the end screen is quite abrupt & the spikes colliders feel a bit unforgiving. But this is definitely one of the most polished games I've played this jam. Great work & I've subscribed to your itch for updates :)

Tick Hero by WouterK12 2022-10-04T12:52:45Z ♥ 1

Really cool concept and I love the atmosphere that you were able to build! I felt like I really was in that dungeon. I ran into a bug where I had 1 card left but was unable to use it. So I had to restart a couple of times mid game.

The Night Owl Murder by Iluvatar 2022-10-04T12:33:39Z ♥ 3

Re-typing my comment as I posted it on the wrong game, woops! Bravo, what an excellent game you've built. I managed to solve the murder with just 10 seconds to go lol, I was scared I was gonna screw it up :) The dialogue is great and really well voice acted. Thanks and I'd love to look out for more from you!

Bygone Melodies by Save Sloth Studios 2022-10-04T12:29:45Z ♥ 1

You've built a beautiful game :) I loved jamming out to the music, bravo. And the characters are so charming also!

10 Second Traffic by Grandblood 2022-10-04T12:22:08Z ♥ 3

Lol this is a brilliant game and made me laugh quite a bit! Bet you had fun making the sound effects :D I love the idea of having to choose modifiers that are going to make it more difficult!

Escape From Planet Earth! by saintchristopher777 2022-10-04T12:15:04Z ♥ 1

This was a fun game to play! It's quite a unique idea and I enjoyed leveling up. It would be nice to get an indicator on how many credits I will get when using the wormhole. Good job :)

Just Right by VimMagic 2022-10-03T16:30:14Z ♥ 3

@vimmagic Awesome wee game. I read some other comments and FYI, I played on Itch WebGL and could see the score fine. I think it would be a lot better if you could see what the score was going to be in the next round, so you can prepare in the current round.

I got destroyed by trying to keep a low score, then the next round was a negative score multiplier. Brilliant though, good work :)

My Mother is a Caravan? by Gideonnf 2020-04-23T15:50:33Z ♥ 1

Really good game, bringing my mother along to the dungeon was hilarious. Really unique idea, the sound design is brilliant and the graphics are good. Gameplay and combat feels smooth and polished, so well done, keep up the good work, really unique and funny concept!

Rough Ship by WobbleBlocks 2020-04-23T15:45:25Z ♥ 2

Nice idea and very ambitious, also very unforgiving. I think if you could continue development and add an interactive tutorial that has nice pace to it, the game could be really solid. Hopefully you keep up the development on it, I have followed you on itch and looking forward to updates :)

Dungeon Feeds by PatrickRMC 2020-04-23T15:37:56Z ♥ 0

I think your game has a great idea to it. The sound and graphics are fantastic and the concept behind the flow of play is really nice. I was getting really frustrated at the start as I couldn't figure out what to do. The tutorial is a bit hard to read. But the polished feel to the game kept me hooked until i figured it out. Something that some other games fail to do! :) I think with some more work and more balancing (I found the enemies quick over-powered and some sfx/camera shake when taking damage would make a huge difference) this game would be reallly really good. Got a lot of potential, keep up the good work!

Something Fishy by sztrovacsek 2020-04-23T10:53:35Z ♥ 1

Hey I really liked your game. I've always had a huge interest in fishkeeping and your game filled a little void since I don't have any currently! The game is really peaceful but definitely gets stressful as the ocean fills up. I think it would be really well suited on mobile and I could definitely see myself filling commute times with the game. Hope you keep working on it.

Oak Defenders by Hugimugi7 2020-04-22T21:57:07Z ♥ 1

Really nice game, feels brilliantly polished for such a small development time. It's a nice 2d, sidescrolling twist to typical tower defence games. My only gripe is the crosshair is quite difficult to see against the background, but thanks for making this game I had great fun playing it:)

Mutiny by Cataractar 2020-04-22T15:43:55Z ♥ 1

gamewin.PNG

Really nice game concept! Thanks for sending it over. Pacing is very good, gets quite stressful as the crew fills up and you're trying to cater to everyone. Will keep an eye out for future development!

Feed the Slime King! by Ducky 2020-04-22T15:35:35Z ♥ 2

Really cool game. It's a shame the Slime King can't climb stairs as I managed to get to the Chicken stash at the top of the tower! Really nice idea, I think the disable from being hit is a bit too long and harsh, but great job with the time constraints!

Mampfred and the singing, tingling tree by gagapete 2020-04-22T08:05:35Z ♥ 3

Hey thanks for checking my game out! I really liked this. It took me a few shots to get the hang of it. I guess if there was some more sfx for different things it would make gameplay even more engaging, but overall I had great fun & really like the minimalistic gameplay and controls. Keep up the good work, you done really well to do this with the time constraints. dwarf.PNG

Flight Photo by zogingu 2018-04-26T00:21:21Z ♥ 0

I had an awesome time playing. Your concept is really unique and fascinating to play. Pokemon Snap on N64 was an amazing game and there's not been much in terms of photography games since then. Your models in the game are stunning. I'm interested to know the code behind the photo capture and grain effects as well. Could be an awesome game with polish & more content. Keep it up!

I shot this photo, thought it was pretty sweet :)Flight photo LD41.png

Dungeon Exploder by wizard sino 2018-04-25T23:59:18Z ♥ 1

I really enjoy the controls of this game. The lighting is very well done as well. Really enjoyable experience :)

Topdowngrounds by aemiliu5 2018-04-25T23:14:16Z ♥ 1

Really like this idea. I've never played any of the Battle Royale games before, but this was really cool. I found it a bit frustrating that I was unable to attack after queueing to reload. Made a turn a bit of a waste. Health bars on NPCs would be a nice addition too.

This idea honestly has potential though. Really enjoyed playing the game, it had that '1 more turn' feeling to it. With some sharpening, it could be a really good game. Great work!

Space Restaurant by SecretC 2018-04-25T22:55:39Z ♥ 2

Really cool idea, the controls felt fluid. I felt there was maybe just a lack of feedback for your actions in the game, but with some refinement I think your game has a lot of potential. Keep it up!

Punk at the Opera by rjhelms 2018-04-25T22:49:19Z ♥ 1

That was a lot of fun to play!

Gilbert and Sullivan were challenging, but I managed to beat them on my first playthrough (it was close though).

Streets of Rage is one of my favourite games so I really enjoyed Punk at the Opera. The collisions on the boss fight is a little off though, I found myself losing a lot of health from colliding/being hit when I felt I shouldn't have, but that's my only criticism. Thanks for the fun!

Twin TV by saintheiser 2018-04-25T22:42:30Z ♥ 0

Really unique idea with smooth gameplay & fantastic visuals. Great polished game after a weekend of work!

Eldritch Engines by CameronPenner 2018-04-25T22:30:20Z ♥ 1

I really love the graphics & atmosphere of the game. The lighting effects are awesome as well. Really well done, great to explore the world when you're driving about. The game has a lot of potential.

Ten1Z1 by Lumous 2018-04-25T22:24:15Z ♥ 1

Really challenging. The power shot is difficult to use. Also, I feel that killing zombies should be more rewarding. I didn't bother to pay attention to them really. Great idea though. The art is fantastic.

Same issue as @Ben Grimm , trying to get it running on windows

Pilgrimage by Kevar 2018-04-25T22:09:22Z ♥ 1

Really atmospheric, the game is an awesome blend of the two genres. A lot of promise early on, you could really make this into something interesting. Keep it up!
