The best part of this game comes after losing to war a few times but knowing enough to realise you better lose a couple familly members in winter if you want to pay rent. Maybe you could tug on heart strings a little tighter if you made the player name the familly at the start and pick who to send away. Dying because of a war a couple years in felt like a huge set back.

@jellybean exactly, I had the same idea, naming the peeps, but got not time for that. Hope you got the true end. Being a farmer in old times, luck is significant to survive, so I did harsh random there.

Interesting entry, it definitely felt like it had something to say. I'm still missing one of the bad endings (I assume there's one where you don't have enough money to survive the winter, but I can't seem to get it to happen for me) and the true ending. I did manage to get the normal ending with all family members (warlord membership nonwithstanding) once though, that was my crowning achievment. Very cool idea for the theme, great job on your game!

I love the "big fat rich harvest automne" but "0.1$" part :D ! I did tired, but I still can't get one of the bad ending (I have: suicide, can't survive winter, war), nor the true ending. I've got a son for warlock but I still die from war :/
Rough year. Had to sell them all for scientific experiments.
@captaindreamcast @youjing try remove the son when he had been working for the warlord, and reach the final autumn. Better do that at the final autumn avoiding war
Big Papa was behind it all along. I knew it. I have many theories about this here "war". I'm assuming Big Papa was also behind that. *shakes fist* Damn you Big Papa!! I like the replayability on the game. Definitely enjoyed being filthy rich and sacrificing my family.

I try my best to go through these five year, losing many family members but finally got $310. realistic and cruel idea. I like it.

@leoatopos Thank you, I retried, and now I see the true ending! I wonder if I remove my son he just get died somewhere, but no :). Maybe a bug that I forgot mention earlier: I cant click on "Remove One" during the final autumn.

I like the narrative style of this game. This game doesn't tell anything, but also telling everything. I like that shua very much, especially when you want to get achievements to play game repeatly, shuashuashua is very fun.
我喜欢这个游戏的叙事风格。这个游戏看似没讲什么,但同时又感觉讲了很多。我非常喜欢那个shua,特别是当你想获得成就来反复玩游戏的时候,那个shuashuashua非常有趣。

很容易就触发了三个坏结局。在多次尝试中,5年后的丰收一直是我的期待,但丰收到来之后,却让我的希望破灭了。简单、直白、动人的故事。 我们要夺回劳动果实,让思想冲破牢笼!
I like the idea, I was a little confused by having to 'loop' first to get the other options but in hindsight it helped make things easier to understand. Cool idea!

Very nice. If there was a 'narrative' category I would give it 5 stars. The game would have been more engaging if it more turns with more than 1 action available (other than removing a child)
Wow, I really liked stakes you putted in the game, for me it first yet game that trying to be really original and deep, you got my fav. You also possibly can enjoy my game too I guess, it has some unexpected twist too.
Very creative! Honestly, didn't expect that kind of game for the theme!
Really unexpected ending, great narrative.
The game itself is very RNG, but *c'est a la vie.*

Simple, but effective =)
The game felt too random to me. I have no idea what causes the Stray ending and how to avoid it. It feels really unsatisfying to lose randomly and not based on my choices. In a game like this I think you want to have the player's choices have meaning.
I liked the art style. It was simple, but conveyed the ideas of the game. I also liked that new options appeared based on previous runs.
Overall, cool idea, but too much randomness not enough player agency.

Harsh! But succeeds really well at making the point (your life is hard and up to chance). Well done on your compo game!
Rather unique gameplay. Sadly, I was only able to unlock 3 of the bad endings.

nice game! it really reminded me of Raigns. I was kind of shocked when my first instinct was to kill everyone and it's let me :D both really fun to explore the different endings. i made it to the last year and then messed up. sadly wasn't able to get there again. definitely a much better game than one might expect on first sight :)
