Nice visuals, definitely like it!
Nice visual! I understood how to play ^^
@dileriuml, @d3w tnx for the feedback!
Fun, and simple to understand. Loved it.
Amazing job! Found it really interesting and challenging
Panel art is great, the atmosphere is there, i think you have something. Maybe continue to make it into something bigger?
@enderr42 Thank you for feedback! We also feel that there is potential in the concept and want to make it into a complete game :)
Graphics and atmosphere were definitely the highlights. I feel like more could have been done with the gameplay, however. Interesting game. I defnitely want to see how this shapes up in the future.
great visual and sound! gameplay is interesting too
@nottahipster98 , @juanrod707, @min4uk, @enderr42 , @real-flamingicecubegames thanks for all the feedback, we really appreciate it! Regarding the gameplay loop, we actually have tons of ideas on how to vary it, but did manage to implement only basics for 3 days. First things first, gonna make a small polishing and bug-fixing. And only then move it into the real "post-jam" phase. :smirk_cat: Stay tuned!

Very atmospheric game. I love the visuals, how did you do them? As for the gameplay itself - I think the delay was a little bit too long. Sometimes it felt pretty random whether I hit the rocket or not. I think that this is an issue with binding the main mechanic to the theme and then not being able to rebalance without abandoning the theme itself.
Neat idea. The pulses only coming every 10 seconds made it a neat puzzle to figure out which missile was heading in which direction. It became a bit too much when trying to plot an intercept course for your own missiles, since you have little margin for error. But the idea would work fabulously if you had a laser so you could simply click where you think the missile is rather than having to try to lead a hidden target.
I like it a lot, at first it was frustrating that the radar spun so slowly (though that's just the theme), but it made it super tense after I started missing enemies.
The idea is interesting, and both the visuals and sound effects are good. Find the way missiles is moving and hit them is really difficult. Overall a good jam game. Well done.
Great visuals, great concept, great jam game!
Hey @xsangyhix tnx for the feedback! 3d props and textures were done by @kumabot, I guess he could share his blender tips and tricks later. Regarding the scene itself, here it is :smile_cat:
dev3.jfif dev1.jpg dev2.jpg We combine props for the panel and radar and put a few red/blue point lights to emphasize the atmosphere. Using the 80s TopGun movie as the main ref. dogfight1.jpg dogfigh2.jpg Projectiles are using material with emission to make them more "glowish" baaalz.jpg baaalz2.jpg
That's all the magic.

Talking about timing, in the future we could use some upgrades and modules as a gameplay element to improve the response time/cooldown and make it more enjoyable for players.
@sheldonzs thank you! Once of ours ideas was to try point-base interception (a bit similar to what you have mentioned). And compare both of them (point-based vs trajectory-based) with some kind of A/B testing. But unfortunately, we didn't manage to implement it in time. Still, it remains a neat idea, and hope we will manage to try it in a post-jam version.
@triggthediscovery, @jk5000 , @schuster Thank for the comments! We really need to think hard about the balance between radar spun and missile spawner for the post-jam version. When we are not restricted to 10 sec.
I really liked the atmosphere you created with the background around the radar. I wished that the difficulty ramped up a bit faster though since sometimes you kind of just had to go through the motions. Good job!
Nice Visual, Love the idea ! The explosions actually startled me at first xD
I'm experiencing some kind of flickering on the radar. The dots are fine but grid seems to be flickering a lot. Oh and also, my missiles seem to explode either way before contact with the red dots or not at all.
Other than that, Great game !
The visuals are outstanding. I found the hitboxes a little small, the bullet would overlap with the enemy by like 50% but wouldn't hit, the first play through I didn't land a hit and just thought it was missing an effect for killing an enemy. Some sort of health indicator would be nice as well.
Really cool concept enjoyed it a lot.
Great looking game, and a unique take on the topic. Great job!
I feel this was the start of something great, it was also a bit buggy for me even in the hotfixed version. However, I quite enjoyed the concept.
Very atmospheric, the visuals and audio came together nicely
With a bit of tinkering I was able to launch the game in wine, but alas, I couldn't get the radar to display. Sounds like a neat concept thought! Congrats on finishing the jam :]
I love aerospace so this was fun for me!!
