Same thing that @rayanne-reveg commented! let us know if u gonna upload a new version!
Same here
404
Screenshots look nice but still a 404.
I was attracted by a beautiful picture the same way as @rayanne-reveg, but the game does not work. Please fix it soon, I still want to see what's inside!
+1 404 :( It looks like fun!
This looks like fun, but the link doesn't work! Can you please update the link?
I would also love to try the game out ; could you update the page ?
Screenshots are very interesting but I can't download this game :-(
Hey guys! Yuri here, also known as KaNgUrUh on twitch, I'm the lead game designer of How Deep Is Your Love. We are very sorry about this wait period but the game is up now!! Our programmer lost all the code he had written hours before the deadline and then left the project out of frustration. So the other two game designers, the 2D artist and myself had to program everything from scratch. It was a very arduous process, especially when we all have limited experience with Unity, but as they say, four heads are better than one! Hahahaha we got it done reasonably well in two days. It was tough, it was tiring but damn it if it wasn't a blast! The team and I sincerely hope you enjoy this game as much as we enjoyed making it!!
nice game, cool art, good job!
Haha, that ending was unexpected . Cool little game. I like the pixel art design of the character and the mermaid the most.
Keep up the good work!
It was pretty fun although the camera started glitching at some points. I really liked how the 2d and 3d worked together. Also nice ending!
@rayanne-reveg @dalloner @sheinxy @tengusheath @lithia-studios @foxy @ukulelefury @nutella-files @jlv @onizik Problem solved! The game is up and running! I hope you guys like it :smile:
Unexpected ending! x3
A small game but a good one, I really love the pixel art!
Great game! Short but sweet, I like it!
Amazing plottwist at the end, why did u guys opted out on humor ?
Brought here by a screenshot, I find mermaids interesting.
While gameplay is good (though the game is short, which is not a problem in this case at all), it is the graphical charisma that really does the most for the game. And seeing a pixelated pirate brings in that warm Monkey Island feeling. The whole game is like a mermaid, it is a love on first sight, even though you can't really do much with it. Very nice job.
Achei mt daora o final kkkkk. Gostei das artes e a animação do começo. Boa sorte pra vocês <3 Bom trabalho!
Awesome! I absolutely loved the graphics, pixel art is beautiful and I think you guys integrated the 2D and the 3D graphics together really well. Funny ending too, haha. Great job!! :)
Very nice jam game!
Animations are great. The level flow and difficulty ramp was just right. Music and sounds are on point! And what an ending twist!
Really good job!
My one improvement suggestion would be to tune the player position to be near the top of the screen so that the used field of view is more player-friendly. It will give players a little more time to react to newly spawned obstacles, and make it feel totally fair if the player gets hit.
@roidz We ended up opting for humor because we though it would be a fun approach to the mermaid myth, pirates that dive beautiful women and are never seen again and all that. Also because of the graphical style, we thought it would be better to go with something a little bit more light hearted since it would make a short experience more satisfying in the long run.
Nice game, really like the art was surprised that I couldn't rate the game in terms of graphic, did you opt out of the graphic category ?
Well, this was a blast. That twist ending. Great look, nicely playable, great humor. Really enjoyed it.
Really fun game. Short and sweet! It kept me interested to keep trying and trying again until I made it to the end! I was surprised it wasn't longer actually!
3D models were a ton of fun to look at. A very surprising amount of excellent character/visual design here. The music was enjoyable and the game was just a lot of fun!
Unfortunately I was not able to play the game. This appeared after I "pressed any key" at the beginning. It just froze on this frame. I really looked forward to try your game. It looks amazing.

Hi! I admit that it's the visuals that attracted me here but I was pleasantly surprised by an interesting gameplay, I started again a few too many times to improve my score but at one point I found myself stuck in the hollow of a boat :c
Bravo for your game otherwise ♥
I looked at the game when it was 404 and thought it was sad I could not play. Now I have retuned to give you 5 stars for this amazing project! I loved everything, the visuals, the audio, the theme usage, the ending! It is just perfect! Thanks for making this masterpiece!
I'm so happy to finally play the game! It's sooo amazing; the concept of the theme, the art, music, sfxs and the final plot, haha! Love it completely! Congrats guys!
Hey matey, thanks for submitting your game to stream! I had fun playing it, and I hope you found the feedback useful! Here's the vod if ya wanna rewatch it;

The short, but funny game. In my opinion, mixing 3D and pixel art is a bad idea for a jam, but I like how it works in your game. And it's hard to admit that the game has the most romantic ending I've ever seen.
This is a really good game honestly. The swimming animation of the pirate is so fricken smooth, even the random junk floating in the ocean looks good, and the story has a fun ending (better love story then twiligth. I also liked the combination of pixel art and 3D assets in the game, or atleast for the cutscenes. It is a short but fun game which I cant praise more
Neat, short entry! I really like the art-style, big fan of pixel art with the shading of a 3D environment. Gameplay was short and basic, but I had fun with it!
Played this on my stream yesterday if you want to check out the VOD: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1005643301?t=00h03m00s
I didn't find love, love found me. And I lost my damn mind.
This was great! I completed it first time and the ending was very satisfying. It was a bit of a mish mash of visuals, but ultimately it was an experience I will remember after this week - and thats a great achievement.
Lovely game! The art is great, and I really like the background music! Pirate/mermaid romance ends about how you would expect :-D
Would be nice to have an exit option on the main menu - unless I missed it. I just alt-F4ed.
Great entry ! I enjoyed the straightforward gameplay, the clever use of the art, the balance (these jam games tend to be too hard, yours was just right !) as well as the final...twist. Fantastic job, well worth the additional work on your end !
Strengths : - Cool aesthetic and audio - Straightforward gameplay and controls - Excellent level design and balance
Possible improvements : - Some ennemies seem to be teleporting ; not a big issues, but the large tentacles can be...troublesome
This game was really well done. The beginning and end cutscenes were a nice touch. I can tell a lot of work was put into this game by the variety of models and level elements. The music and sound effects were also well done. Overall, your team did a great job!
Finally, a Unity game that doesn't assume that I have a widescreen display resolution...you'd be shocked how rare that is nowadays.
What a great opening cutscene! Amazing job putting everything together despite your aforementioned setback, which I'm sure must have been disheartening.
Video playthrough as promised: https://seafile.wheybags.com/f/ca52f76bdda947ccad95/
Nicely polished little game! Art + music were quite nice, and the ending was great :D
Pure fun! An elegant game for a more civilized age.
Feedback - Cool Idea - Liked the obstacles - I don't know what the blank space was for
Ending was great, very nice job. Fun gameplay, everything was very smooth and simple to follow.
I like the idea, it felt fairly simple in some ways. I liked the composition of the 2d on 3d. That was a fun juxtaposition. Art was a good choice for the gamplay.
Oh oh, the surprise at the end. Good gameplay and loved the gfx, especially the 3D on 2D asthetic.
hahah poor pirate! xD Nice game, loved the music from the menu :3 I played two times because I wanna see again the bloody ending
I really liked the concept and the variety of obstacles! The intro and ending were very funny as well. The art was really well done, but I feel like the 2d and 3d styles kind of clashed. Contrary to idea that you shouldn't mix them at all, however, I think it can actually work quite well with a bit of tweaking. For our game, we just added a pixelated camera effect that makes the 3d models look kind of like pixel art, and I think that would work really well for your game as well.
By the way, I think there was a miscommunication when someone asked why you had opted out of humor. You are currently not being rated in humor because you have removed it from the available categories to be rated in, which is a shame because it seems like you put some effort into making the game humorous. You also are not being rated in audio or graphics, which it seems like you put a lot of time into as well. You can change this in the settings when you edit your game page, but I'm not sure if you can still change it this late.
What a great game with a great twist in the end! The music very much reminded me of Monkey Islands music, were you by any chance inspired by it? I love the general art-style especially the pixel-art. Me personally, I don't like the combination of 3D and pixel-art but that's just subjective, I can nonetheless appreciate the style and think it looks very good. The game feels rather short and too easy, but on the other hand end-to-end fully polished. I like all the different ideas you had for the dangers of the deep sea.
Altogether, very polished entry, great job!
Awesome! Love the music and sounds! That ending twist lol
Great job, guys :)
We all encounter problems during game jams, sometimes a little bigger than we hope. But you managed to get a game done and that's all that matters.
You would come first place in the humor category for that twist ending!
@skosnowich How happy to see your comment !! It hit the nail on the head, The Monkey Island franchise was my biggest reference !! I made a post here on the LD48 page explaining how I did it and I thought the soundtrack of this game!!

Congratulations I play is very cool, the music and arts are beautiful, and has a touch of humor in the end very cool, a big hug to the team, and I await your feedback on my game.
Hi,
Here is my playthrough of your game :)
Why can't I rate this on humor? Totally deserves a humor grade :D
https://youtu.be/8nnmeL6zboM
Fun game, short and sweet and does well to tell it's story in such a short amount of time. Being able to see the mermaid at the end of the screen is a really nice touch! I love the art style especially in the start menu and the end scene! Sorry about losing your code, you guys did great and I would have loved to see what more you had in store for us! Like others have said, I wish I could rate on graphics, humor and audio!
If opting out was a mistake, you might be able to get this fixed by contacting Mike Kasprzak here: https://twitter.com/mikekasprzak
Nice game! I enjoyed playing it on stream ^^ Thanks for submitting! Here's the VOD: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1011888346
Best game I've played so far :) thanks!
Best ending ever! Just awesome! And the music rocks, it brought me back memories of monkey island. The mix between pixel graphics and 3D is kind of weird, but it's not so bad, even though I would have preferred just simple pixels :) Anyway really great job!
Simple but fun gameplay! The enemy variety was nice, as well as the animation of the main character. It was quite short, and maybe also too easy since I didn't die once in three playthroughs. But you did well to tell a nice little story in this short timespan.
I had recently moved to Nottinghamshire and could only dream of deep love. Fortunately, after going to a local pub, I found out about the existence of the dating site https://uk.cupiddates.com/ and began to actively use it. I got a lady of the heart pretty quickly and I try to take care of her by sending various flowers and gifts. She seems to love me back and we started planning a date in real life.
