I feel like this game is ready to ship. It got the mechanic done, the art done and a nice difficulty curve. I would suggest adding something to make the game less repetitive. Great game overall

Really nice game. The idea is awesome. Big thumbs up. Good job. :-) Had a lot of fun playing it.
Fun and a bit stressful! I enjoyed it quite a bit, enough to try for a top 3 position at least. Good job!
Great game. Nothing much to say, I always try to give useful feedback but your game is really nice, I don't have anything to criticize. Well done.
Nice game, good difficulty curve, graphics, effects and music.
Great game with fun mechanics. Feels like a completed game! Nice music and great graphics too!
5/5 in all I LOVED THIS GAMME it was sooo nice simple concept but such aazing mechanics also i am proudly number #9 ZER0FLASH 2:53:53 but im sure i will get beaten as more people find this game keep it up though amazing game
Very fun and intense - probably the best game I've come across so far.
Game feel is amazing and visuals. Very much enjoy it. Great game. Maybe no need of stairs in the level but maybe its only me.
Damn, this was real great. The pace is hectic and there is surprisig amount of strategy, although because you can't see the whole screen, you might get punished by randomness. The leaderboard is a great touch. No real complaints, sometimes near the reiling on the lifted section it was hard to cut through bombs, it felt like I went through them without slicing them. Also, on the web version the screen so small that I couldn't click the Unity webplayer fullscreen button, and it didn't work when I had already clicked itchio's.
Great game loop with high replayability, awesome visual style with a lot of game juice!
Holy Heck!
This actually Fantastic, The visuals beautiful, Coreloop is super addictive.
I would love to see where you push this to increase replay-ability.
Cant wait to see where you take this! :D
Solid game play and I got lots of fun from playing it. The flame becomes more and more fit the theme "Delay the inevitable". Good game!
Really fun game, love the visuals, the music and the tryhard ! Had to download the game for a better experience though, the web one was a bit laggy when too much ennemies !
The leaderboard makes this game so much better! The game itself is fantastic too I could easily thinks this is a steam release or smth! Great job!
Cutting is very crisp!Enjoy it。
I don't know what I'm doing but I do, running everywhere and spamming the key ahah. Pretty fun to play. Maybe having another map would be fun! I really like the graphics and the audio!
Damn, a really good entry. It is satisfying, crisp, plays well and fits the theme well. It's almost perfect.
The only thing that was a little off for me was the cutting mechanic. I would have loved it to be aimable with my mouse, as having it go to the direction of your current movement is a bit janky in my opinion. It also felt a little of on the timing (the recovery for me at least). I would have also appreciated a little more feedback upon successfully cutting a lit bomb (as the game get's pretty crowded visually).
Other than that, amazing art, amazing visuals, amazing gameplay. Kudos!
This is pretty fun to play and has been executed well. I like the way some of the sticks of dynamite split in two to spread the fire further, and the icons to indicate offscreen threats is very helpful.
A few minor issues that I noticed:
Firstly, the web version of the game doesn't appear to have any support for scaling. As a result, by default a lot of the main menu is cut off and if you go fullscreen then it doesn't adjust the game size (probably not noticable on 1080p, but on a 4K monitor the game is completely surrounded by massive black borders).
The other thing was that you're forced to submit your time to the leaderboard in order to play again. Personally, I think it'd be better if you either made it optional or have the leaderboard name in the settings and do it automatically.
Apart from that, I thought this was some really good work, well done.
What a game, it feels extremely satisfying and everything is on point. I realised you could use a controller to play and it feels 10 times better doing so. Game jams are designed for games like these and I'm really glad I got to play this one. I'll be looking forwards your next projects!
Very fun and smart game loop for a jam. It doesn't take long to get into the the game and you easily get invested in trying for longer and longer survival times! On top of that, the graphics are stunning! Great job
Nice idea and implementation. I love how the difficulty level increases with time. Great that is a leaderboard. One problem: I fell off the map once
Awesome game, the snipping feels incredibly satisfying and everything is so polished! Well done! 😍
Really fun! Very polished. Also very simple and short. I don't know exactly how it would scale to a larger game in the future, but for the brief of the game jam, it was fun to play for short sessions. Good job on the music as well.
Interesting game, I enjoyed it
Cool game! It kept me at the edge of my chair haha. It was simple and sweet - I really enjoyed the graphics and if I saw it elsewhere, I probably would think it wasn't made for a game jam xD
Clearly one of the best entries in term of quality. Looks like a finished game.
I can see it getting some success on mobile, although it may need some refining to adapt the controls for that. Maybe on Switch, with multiple, and bigger, maps and local multiplayer with different game modes. Maybe one player spawning bombs while others must cut them off.
Really fun game, with very polished visuals and gameplay, well done!
This game is brilliant! I would never have guessed this is a jam game! Amazing graphics, amazing sounds, amazing visual effects, amazing gameplay loop. I have no idea how you pulled this off in this short space of time, and I am very very impressed! 5 Stars all round!
Nice game! Controls, art, sound - all good. Great work!
Very well made game ! I love the (I'm guessing) thoughts process that lead to this : Delay the inevitable->Delay the explosion->split the explosives->Scissor character. The faces on the enemies are great and adds a lot to the game imo. Effects looked great.
Having played both the original version and the current html one, I would say that imo the updates made post jam are a bit much. The original version was really fine as a jam game, adding juice, indications balancing and stuff is just overall polish (which to me should be made before the deadline). Now that's just my personnal feeling about it.
I would remove the full screen button of the itch page. As long as you enabled the full screen button in the unity build (which you did), clicking on it will make the game full screen already. The itch one just sits on top of it and does nothing helpfull (as far as I know). I also add 60px in height on the itch page so that the unity task bar at the bottom is displayed properly.
Thanks for the information, I will try to figure it out for more. Keep sharing such informative post keep suggesting such post.
