I love the mechanics of this game but i got a bit dizzy because the art.

I like it. It seems like a fairly typical rolling ball game, but the audio is the star, especially for being created in only 3 days. I also appreciate that all the levels are in the same scene, rather than having to reload each time.

clericshields 2021-04-27 02:21

that was fun, really liked it.

snowdrama 2021-04-27 09:53

Super fun, it was nice that the ball had a bit of weight to it, made controlling it have a bit of a learning curve to it.

Fun game guys! Was a bit hard to get used to the physics at first but after a while it felt nice!

no-grapes-games 2021-04-28 21:53

I had a lot of fun with this game! I liked how weighty the ball felt. There were times when camera control would have helped because it was hard to judge a drop, or level geometry got in the way of the ball, but then, full control may have made the game too easy. And checkpoints were well-placed so it never got frustrating (even if I just squeaked by on time!)

Audio was awesome in this game. Really great job on the announcer and the music. I need to go back and beat it. I liked the physics and the challenges were put together well.

I loved all the arts/ And aud'os are very good but as total experience its not perfect. But still good : )

joonamo 2021-05-01 13:39

This was a fun experience, great physics and the controls had a great amount of weight. I have to admit, it felt pretty bad running out of time when I could see the goal... I wish I would have been just pushed to last checkpoint instead of kicked back to menu. :grimacing: Thanks for the web build, btw!

hot dang thats a funky sound track. always have time for these types of games and i really enjoyed the level design here, great balance of challenging but managable

ds-nahogara 2021-05-02 05:24

Great game here, the gameplay was real smooth and cool, i got mad at all times! I think it is a hardcore marble warble hehe, the music is possibly the best part of the game.. Specially the bouncy zone track, it sounds groovy and 90s, it is a 10/10 to me this game.

Fantastic Game!

Wow! This game was totally great! The controls were nice, the only thing I'd say is that I would have liked some control over the camera, but it was fine nonetheless. Level design was interesting. Graphics were fine, simple, but they worked just fine (And I really liked the random messages in the title screen). Music and sfx were great, and I loved the announcer, it was really cool! Overall, amazing game! Congrats!

Troy you killed it and I love this game!

I'm not too much of a fan of the Sega Dreamcast games... but something about this has an incredible dreamcast vibe and this feels really dang good!

You definitely have a solid grasp of level design and allowing players to trap themselves, find alternate paths, and interact with the game on their own terms. There was no part of the level design that I felt was unfair or poorly designed... I really have no complaints here.

As for the controls... it's perfect. I like how difficult it was to fight the ball's pull and never felt like it was out of reach of my own control. I always felt like I was -just not good enough-... but that I had the potential to not make the same mistake again. This is a very fine line to walk but you walked it quite well.

The music, as you know, is incredible. You have mastered the transitions- and your placement of 'levels' in an open zone works very well.

The only critique I had was that the distance slider fill area steps outside the bounds of the border- just adding a proper mask will fix this.

Overall you absolutely nailed it!

Thanks for bringing this by... I'm definitely super excited to see your future games!

Nice game, although sometimes it is hard to see what is happening because of the higher platforms

wizard-sino 2021-05-03 23:46

once i got the hang of the controls i had a lot of fun!

larsdu 2021-05-03 23:56

I came in with low expectations, but was pleasantly surprised. This is a well designed game.

danmedeiros 2021-05-04 00:50

This game reminds me of another one I used to play when I was little, and this factor alone would be enough to give you guys a big thumbs up. It is very fun (and funny) on its own though and I would love to play this with graphics and sounds even further improved, I bet it would be an amazing experience. Great job!

omiya-games 2021-05-05 23:53

Well, as expected, this game was hard. Discovering shortcuts was really satisfying. I also appreciate the technical achievement on moving platforms, where the marble follows its movement when on top of it. I couldn't unlock the secret end level, though :(.

While the controls are serviceable, I did feel the presentation made it difficult for me to internally understand the momentum behind the marble character. In games like *Monkey Ball*, for example, the entire level rotates in the arrow key directions, which makes it easier to "accept" slow reacting controls and low surface friction. I think I would have appreciated just a bit more drag on the marble so it's easier to decelerate and give myself a little more control.

That said, the levels *were* designed with the current controls in mind. That really helped make the game more fun. I think the level itself was relatively well-paced, switching between speedy and precision based areas. I also hugely appreciate the lighting being perfectly vertical, as it helps me determine where I'd land using shadow alone. Lots of good subtle polishes in here.

caeonosphere 2021-05-09 06:54

I triggered the race to the exit, but no way was I gonna make it in 20 seconds! I had a good time, agree with other folks that the music is excellent and the controls feel maybe a tad sluggish. I appreciate inertial physics as much as the next guy, but that ball felt heeeeavy.

jitspoe 2021-05-11 10:57

Groovy sound and fun to play. Not sure I'd say it was a strong fit for the theme. My biggest complaint is that it often felt difficult to gauge how well you were aligned with a block you were attempting to drop down to. Sometimes it looked like you were directly above it, but it was lower, when, in fact, it was further away and dropping down missed it completely.
