The music really added to the creepy vibe! I ranked this game high in mood and I had a great time with it. The compass was a smart addition too. I think it would be great if there was a timer/score displayed that showed how long I have been surviving. Great job!

You kept it simple and it works very well! I really got afflicted when the snakes were chasing me. Controls and HUD worked well, soundtrack works nicely, and I liked the funny damage SFX! Good job
Like the atmosphere of this game a lot, fitting music too. I agree that some measure of score or progress would be cool. Pretty cool take on the theme as well, nice job!
Cool game
Love the atmosphere, the darkness was so stressful! :D Great work!

It's a really cool idea, and the execution proves that even simple effects can make the dark creepy. However, the respawning trees meant that I didn't feel any threat except the possibility of running into mobs in the dark. After 5 minutes of managing my steadily-growing flame I called it and just walked into the forest. I like how the enemies can briefly survive in the light - as though to prove your lack of safety. Good work!

Cool, little game. Nice atmosphere! I wish there was something else to do except collecting wood, maybe food-hunger mechanic. Anyway, good job.
Good music, good mood! I do think if there was some additional mechanic or maybe a few more assets it would help me want to play it longer. I ended up just exploring after a while

Awesome little game! I could have played for a long time, but I ended just shy of 5 minutes haha My biggest recommendation would be to add a bit of variety, I would love to see the wood you collect be treated as a currency of some sort that you could use for upgrades, things like a better axe, higher wood capacity, improvements to the fire, etc. Nice work!
