The style is amazing and the music ireally fits the game and is really relaxing, i'd love if it was a mobile game so i can play it when i'm stressed and use it as an antistress :)

Wow this game is amazing, the puzzles give me the vibes of when i was a child and i played that game where you have to move the boxes in the correct spots.. it's really good Stuck on level 9 rn but i'll finish it.. i swear
oh my god the combat is amazing, it's soo satisfying when you hit an enemy, also i thougt it was wasy, just keep punching but it was quite challenging and i loved it.. it made me want to keep playing only this for the rest of the day
nice graphics and nice gameplay, but i found the rooms a bit too big, it was hard to find the end, but still pretty cool game, some weird glitches where the knife would fly downward without flipping but that happened rarely, and the door's hitboxes were weird so you had to go a little above the side doors to go thru them Also sometimes the mobs would stay in front of the doors and when you enter, well, you die
REally nice game, it has interesting enemies, super nice art and sound effects and it is very fun.. I think that the flamethrower and the cactus-shotgun were a bit too simila, it would have been greate habing an indicator above the ammo and maybe a big red text saying NO AMMO when you don't have them, since it's much more noticable than the bullet counter
Anyway this is still waay better than what i did in 72 hours so good job, amazing game
Very nice idea, it was really polished, but sometimes it looked like effects weren't working.. then i realized that the onion had a shield too.. maybe uou should have told us lol
It doesn't work, it's asking for UnityPlayer.dll.. i think you should have sent not only the exe, but also any other dependency
the game was really fun, i think that the mechanic of turning the cannon is definetely useful but i coudn't get used to it.. also, for going backward, it felt intuitive, if i wanted to keep rotating in the same direction, to switch from A to D and viceversa like you would with a car lol, but instead it wasn't like that
But that's just me not getting used to the controls
Great game!!
I'd prefer to have manual reloading and maybe an option to turn down the sensibility, 'cause it felt like it was too much and i kept spinning around moving the mouse
choppy performances when turning around aside, the game looked very polished in the graphics.. i didn't like that kind of bloom on the signs, i don't know if that was intentional.. it made it hard to read for me The last part was lovely.. once i read the sign i was expecting someone being behind and i slowly turned around to se.. nothing, i panic and at the last minute i see him appearing and then the scream, it actually caught me off guard.. again, amazing
I think that you should be able to store at least 1 gear without any storage room... 'cause if you lose all your storage rooms than you're stuck.. i think that beeing able to slowly regain all the buildings starting from 1 gear would be nice.. that aside, really nice game
P.S. it loked like those idle mobile games, but actually well made :)
Was i supposed to understand something? i've just seen that there were some notes reading the comments but i didn't notice them, way too dark
Since I've seen a lot of you're asking question, I'll answer them all now, I'll add more if more questions arise..
First: Sadly no full screen, I could have added it but I didn't have time, sadly
Second: The hitboxes are just rectangles, pygame is really low level so you can only use text or points for checking collisions.. actually there are polygons but they're quite performance heavy.. at least on my pc, so sadly the hitboxes were quite messed up
Three: The 3 cannons that can be climbed weren't a thing I wanted.. I didn't notice them during playtesting.. hoping it isn't a good way to cheat XD.. probably messed up hitboxes together with my movement script and collision system
Four: The last level actually takes count of the time.. both me and a friend of mine were able to complete it and get the good ending.. if you can't do it fast enough then just turn on immortality mode with I, but don't abuse it :)
Fifth: I know, level selecting isn't the best, but it was the fastest way to do it, and I couldn't add a next_level..
And last but not least, thank you all so much, I wanted to join in this jam 'cause it was the iconic 48th edition.. and, even if I hate rage games and hard platformers, I love seeing other people fail them, so I decided to make one and I wanted to give it a.. really weird theme.. happy it turned out well and that I got so much positive feedback.. I'm actually shaking 'cause I thought this wasn't going to go well
Last thing(I promise), I actually had a lot more ideas for the game but I couldn't implement them, more enemies, the ground enemies(called sprouts actually) should have sprouted in particles that would kill you, an enemy that actually moved.. Since there was a lot of positive feedback I might remake the game adding these features and fixing the things that got criticized.. probably in Godot since coding it python was fun.. but stressful, and now I want to learn Godot so it's a great opportunity

What i loved the most about it was the fact that you could see the levels below you and that you could only use one weapon at a time, the final boss could have been a little stronger but still, pretty good Also loved the fact that you would rotate around the third dimension when moving
The art(both music and textures) were all consistent with the techy theme you gave it and i really enjoyed listening to the sound of enemies dying After all it gave me Soul Knight vibes lol :)
looks like tha game hasn't been published yet, i'll comment here so you can tell us when it's onticht.io thru a comment
Sooooo.... i think you should have made a low spec mode 'cause i crashed when i entered HOPE Screenshot (40).png
