Great art, great music, the game plays great, hitting enemies is really satisfying. Loved everything about this.
Super duper solid beat-em up action with great art, great music and very satisfying movement and combat. Really great proof of concept I can see becoming a superb game. My only addition would be for when you double tap to dash, the attack you do would be some kind of attack that carries the momentum! Other than that, no complaints, great stuff!
Really good work! Connecting a hit has solid sfx and animations that feel really good. Movement felt very reminiscent of older beat em ups, and flowing from attack to another, as well as mixing them up with jumping and doing aerial attacks was fluid. And of course the art was great and cute! It fit with the game's genre quite well.
Great game, love the art, the music and the feel ! I felt it was a bit too easy but i know how hard it can be to balance a ludum entry ! Great entry overall and loved the crowbar !
Love the art plus the fact that the main character is a monke is a real plus, the music is really funky too and the gameplay is really good too !
Super pretty game, it feels good and the music is great. It's a bit too easy to just spam attack and everything in front of you die, I would like more difficulty so as to force me to vary between hit, dash and throw. It's a bit sad that it's looping with the same level and just a different artefact, it becomes boring after a while and I couldn't make it to the end, if there is one. Overall still an awesome work!
Really good looking, landing a hit feels great thanks to the animations and sound effects, you can even combo enemies on walls. The music is Funky indeed. Combat has a lot of options but you often end up just mashing the attack button since it works a bit too well.
Great stuff, the melee gameplay felt surprisingly snappy and hits connected satisfyingly (bonus points for throwable items, that was a fun addition), definitely got the Double Dragon - beat 'em up feel down. Nice animations and music too, maybe a bit too easy and tad on the short side, but regardless it's a very solid entry!
Very cool I like the art style, music suits the game and the combo fighting is cool too and when you pick up the brick it does more damage lot of immersion 10/10 IGN :joy:
Nice beat-em up, that was really fun to make combo. it would be цфнbetter if the enemies tried to surround the player. Also it would be nice to prevent spaming hits with small delay, thats imba)

Cool sounds and a great soundtrack! Fly kicking a bunch of enemies at once was quite fun. The level and the gameplay got a bit repetitive, so a bit more variation could turn this into a cool post-jam game!
Very good beat em up! Everything is solid and feels good! Art is good, music is good! The only thing I would suggest is some kind of depth to the combat and enemies. I think it would be cool if some of them had armor, or a magic clay pot on their head and NEEDED to be hit with a brick (or something) before they take real damage. From the few rounds I played I just mashed all the enemies to death, even the different color guys.
Overall a very good entry! Good job yall!

10/10 game! You guys did a great job, the beat em up aspect was so well polished that i even found it addicting, i found the bricks a bit op! i legit playthrough with one on my hand! it was a blast of a game, also the soundtrack and graphics are sweet good art.

The combat is so good.
Feel like an old school arcade fighting game, the movement felt a bit sluggish, feel like it could have benefited from faster attacks. Loved the music and art. Solid game overall.
Really polished game. The graphics, audio, and gameplay are all top notch. Really nice to see that people still like the beat-em-up genre as much as me. Everything was really well done here. Very nice job. This game deserves more ratings.
oh my god the combat is amazing, it's soo satisfying when you hit an enemy, also i thougt it was wasy, just keep punching but it was quite challenging and i loved it.. it made me want to keep playing only this for the rest of the day
The characters were really cute! I wish there was more to the combat, after a while every combat became "mash D" because the punching and kicking were the best. Really fun looking combat though!
The blow animation is really cool, and the completion of the game is also very high. At the end of each level, you can get different things. It is very interesting. I like this game which is very fun to play.
I really enjoyed the combat, especially the weapons bouncing off enemies, but I thought the progression was a bit slow. Overall it was a nicely polished game.

I like how the combo/combat felt. Really well done. The art was great. I didn't use the jump though. Maybe time was a factor but some pits or spikes would make the jump have a point.
You managed to make me feel like and absolute beast, I had a blast beating these poor mummies to a pulp. It was really fun to combo your attacks, specially when you get the staff. I liked knocking people into the air and throwing the staff on them. It was impressive that you had time to create a custom animation for it's attack. Speaking of animations, the game looked as great as it played!

Really well animated. Loved lining the mummies up against the wall and whooping each and every one of them. I sent them running to their mummy's :wink:

those animations were AMAZING, holy shit i have no clue how you did that in one weekend. i loved the backgrounds too, really gave me Journey vibes if you ignored the mummies and literally every other part of the game. i do think the backgrounds and main character clashed a bit stylistically, even though they were both awesome on their own. the fighting felt snappy and good. nice work!
Very good feeling, impressed by the quality of the attack animations! All fits perfectly, a great entry to this jam, well done! Just a little feedback about a bug I encountered, in a position where I could pick up a brick I throw another one and during the bounce I could pick up the other, but this leads to a black screen where the BGM was still playing but no other sounds. Hope it helps!
This game felt very good to play. Punches and throwing objects was very satisfying both due to the sound and the effect they had visually. Very well thought out gameloop that stays intersting throughout the several runs I played. If you ever want to make a great game, use the combat system from this one, since I really enjoyed it!
The art and sound on this one were amazing, and chaining combo attacks was very satisfying. My one critique is that the game felt repetitive after a few levels. I know that's pretty much inevitable with a jam game, since there isn't time to make lots of content, but another common item or two besides just bricks might have been fun. Also, is it intentional that on the way back it's possible to just dodge all the mummies? Either way, the game is great and feels reasonably polished.
