A fun sokoban variant, and I love the art style! The movement animations are a bit slow, though, which makes it feel a little unresponsive at times, and it would be nice if there was a way to undo one move at a time without restarting the entire level (especially since sometimes I accidentally found myself pushing something up against a wall without meaning to due to the aforementioned unresponsivity). Even so, this is overall a solid game!

This game is amazing! There were some later levels that I skipped due to not wanting to do the math to make sure the stack ended up correctly, but the core concept is beautifully confusing.

Phenomenal game. Not sure if I entirely understand what was going on mechanically with the lightning-bolt square in the second room, but I love the gameplay of going up and down levels. I only wish it was longer!

The art and sound on this one were amazing, and chaining combo attacks was very satisfying. My one critique is that the game felt repetitive after a few levels. I know that's pretty much inevitable with a jam game, since there isn't time to make lots of content, but another common item or two besides just bricks might have been fun. Also, is it intentional that on the way back it's possible to just dodge all the mummies? Either way, the game is great and feels reasonably polished.

@notan-lemon We thought about marking whether a given box had a level inside it, but currently there's not a good way in the code to distinguish that. Also, I don't think any of us are familiar with Parabox, so any similarities are coincidental. I'm glad to hear you liked it!

Somehow the scrolling on my collection glitched and made the collection list go blank, which softlocked the game because I was no longer able to add cards to my deck.

Besides that, the game was good! I would be interested in seeing an expanded version of this with more variety in card effects.

I had some trouble getting the game to work. First, I couldn't get the chicken leg to go inside the duck, so then I restarted, but then I couldn't get the order to advance despite the box disappearing, and then my hands got stuck to each other as a result of trying to pick up a takeout container that was about to fall into the oil. Still, it's a cool idea; I really like how it captures the idea of deeper (in the oil) and deeper (nested inside more birds).

Since the grab and parry only work against certain enemy types, it would be nice to have another option besides just punching that is always available.

This was a great atmospheric story-focused game. The music is a bit repetitive, and it wasn't always clear where screen transitions were, but everything else was great!

Solid game! I agree with what everyone else said about coyote time, and it would also be nice if the level immediately restarted when you fall off the platforms (instead of having to wait for the timer to run out). Other than that, a bit short, but pretty good.
