Very nice graphics and well executed mechanics. Smooth gameplay, well done.
funny game bro good job
i thought that was well constructed. Great job. I wish the sub went a tad faster.
Great models and graphics. Controls could feel a bit sluggish and could use some refinement but all in all a great game!
Very nice. Reminds me of starfox. Great job.
Really cool game. The lighting in the cave is fantastic looking. Great atmosphere.
The game is very well made, however, I wish that the controls were slightly more clear, I did not realize you could boost until my second attempt because of that, a quick and simple way of solving this is just putting the controls on the main menu. I also think that W and S should have been reversed in classic plane controls style
@sweer I can see how that is a problem. One of the plans was to put in game hints of the controls, but we ran out of time. There is a button for controls both on the main menu and the pause screen, but I can see how you might not even know you are missing anything.
A cool little game, I enjoyed playing it. It has a great design and a good atmosphere.
Well done.
Thanks for participating in the jam.
This was a tight little platformer, i really enjoyed the gliding mechanic.
I had some trouble with the wall grab, but I might just suck at platformers. Couldnt seem to jump afterwards, but could have been user error.
Great consistent audio and visual elements.
Simple game but well done!
@jonathan-turner I think you commented on the wrong game?
That sub looked really good. The controls of the sub were really nice. I did have issues aiming those torpedos. Take that cave walls!
very dope.
@snip-man Thanks. The torpedoes try to go where ever you clicked, but there are a lot of moving parts, so they don't always hit their mark.
Really nice retro 3D aesthetic! That last door took a couple tries to get the boost management right. I wish there was an option for inverted Y-axis.
@boxedmeatrevolution We had a lot of people asking for inverted Y-Axis. Control preferences will be something we bring into the next game for sure.
The retro style graphics were well polish, smooth movement and well achieved mechanics. Overall really good entry. A bit short I would have liked to play more. Good job!
I liked the look of the graphics, especially the sub. I think it could do with a cursor where you are pointing so you would know where your torpedo would go. Good environment as well.
@re-lo Thanks. Level design took a back seat to art and mechanics, we tried at the last minute to expand the level, but game breaking bugs popped up so we had to release as was. A goal for a future game jam may be to get a level designer on board to take advantage of the systems and art we make.
@tanner-shelton Not a bad idea to have some sort of cross hair painted on the target. Probably would have helped debug collision targets for clicking too.
Nice render and set of game mechanics!
