gameplay was smooth and fluid, although the lag between "firing" and the projectile actually moving, causing it to change its aim could be frustrating. Found it easier to just simply run past enemies instead of slowly working my way through them
Great game with awesome aesthetics. The beat of the music and the pacing of the gameplay worked very well together and the transitions between levels was really awesome.
I did run into a bug (twice) on the first level with the trapdoors with mouths that popped up, I would die, but I think i was respawning too low and it was spawning me in the level below because I could hear the gameplay but since i didnt have the camera transition downwards, I couldn't see anything anymore.
Some of the brain-jar things were often a little clunky in trying to hit it.
Great models and graphics. Controls could feel a bit sluggish and could use some refinement but all in all a great game!
A lot of very impressive work for a jam! Like some other comments, the game is unreasonably difficult at the start and you really have to learn some "cheesy" strategies in order to get more than 1 or 2 kills before dying.
Some difficulties in seeing which character was selected and choosing a character that might be standing a tile above another character.
interesting game, simple concept dont well. Gameplay really kicked off right away!
beautiful artworks and smooth gameplay for an experimental piece!
Very cool game, There is some really awesome ideas in here that honestly I don't know if they just weren't polished up or they were meant to be confusing because it seemed perfect to NOT know how to play for some reason!
Controls felt a little awkward, but the art was really well done and the sounds really grossed me out (in a good way)
very cute and fun little game. The upgrades were really nicely implemented and despite being a really low key art, it fit perfectly. Controls felt fluid and responsive while still being a part of the challenge.
Only critique is that I think the speed increase was actually a negative factor. It was hard enough to dodge the comets at the slowest speed. Perhaps if the camera panned out a little bit or we had some sort of advance notice of incoming danger this would offset it nicely!
Very well done and surprisingly polished for a 72 hour turnaround!
A great little game with lots of really intricate parts. The upgrades were impressive! A little difficult to tell when it was my "turn" as some enemies would only move once every couple of turns for me and others would move after each move.
Extremely cute models and art style, the lighting was exceptional. It's unfortunate that more of the gameplay couldn't get implemented because it definitely seemed like a cool little concept! Well done!
Really enjoyed the novel approach to the game. Going with the console style graphics really helped bring the game's 'feel'.
Do wish there was more explanation of what was actually happening however. All i know is that i sent my starting green thing in, kept hitting buttons, and eventually won... no real idea what was happening still.
