This game looks incredible, but sadly I cannot play it because I only have a Mac (doh!). I may have to buy a Windows machine just to start playing all these Windows games though.

Really liked the style, but game just lacked a bit of polish :) Fun though!
I'm not sure if it's working? Igniting the frozen dudes isn't doing anything but I had fun roaming around! Excellent work on the graphics and lighting.
Supa cool labyrinth game ! gg dude !
I'm not sure if the game is bugged or if I'm doing something wrong, but I can't seem to interact with anything or find anywhere to go. Lighting things on fire didn't seem to do anything, so I just wandered around for a few minutes before giving up.
The lighting and the designs look really nice! Was pretty confused on what to do though. With no menu or instructions, I wasn't sure what the controls were or what my objective was.. The character also seemed to be T-posing? Even if he couldn't be animated one static pose would've helped a lot. Could use some more work, but keep at it, it's looking cool! :)
Extremely cute models and art style, the lighting was exceptional. It's unfortunate that more of the gameplay couldn't get implemented because it definitely seemed like a cool little concept! Well done!
Wasnt really able to play it, couldnt figure out what to do, but looked promising
Pros: graphics, sounds Cons: the enemies aren't doing anything, and there is nothing to do except shoot. This game has a potential to become a twin-stick shooter, but at the moment, controlling the guy with a gamepad is impossible, since he only looks at the mouse cursor. The level design also has potential for random generation, since I looked at it and couldn't help but wonder if it was random. Keep it up.
Nice try
Digging the graphics. I wish there would at least be a scoring system or something involving hitting enemies with the flamethrower on a time limit. I hope you participate in LD49, cheers.
graphics and sounds are good. Would be nice to have some game play tho. Congrads with your first submission.
A good first showing. Most of the criticism I have is pretty obvious stuff like lack of objectives or interaction beyond movement and shooting effects. The sound design was great though! Loved the music and the effects. The art was decent; the different models seemed like they were made in different styles though.
♪ Soooo ♪ Much potential. I would like to see what this game could have been if you all are going to keep working on it. I'm curious where the stopping points were from getting this playable. Thank you for making the source code available.
Perhaps you should do a post mortem!
The stuff looks awesome! Shame it didn't get far.
@mrtroy @supergamersgames @celtico @mika314 @ohmikron @southpawdevelopment @leyamez @jesse-j-jones @maximegammaitoni @whysguy52 @kenlee @kr0s @peculiarcarrot @kylethecoder Thanks for the feedback and encouragement all! We bit off a bit more than we could chew for our first game and definitely have plans to continue outside of LD48! We're looking forward to our post mortem later this week. We had a great time trying to figure out even getting this much out and are excited to build it to our original vision. We'll see you (with more managed expectations) at LD49 (or maybe LD50).
Looks like time was an issue. I can see the various game elements that were intended. I can't speak for teams but as a solo dev it's important to get something playable as soon as possible. It definitely seems like your team was close to getting a win/lose state added.
Game seems a little unpolished, but, oh man, these graphics. Maybe I am very easy to be impressed with such things as I only do 2D, but the light effects are just fantasic!
Congrats on getting through you first Ludum Dare! Obviously there's not much of a game here but it does look gorgeous! The concept looks cool so I hope you take some more time to work on bringing it to life and participate in more jams!
@aaranos @lesinvisible @jaiden-gerig thanks so much for the kind words! Yeah, time was definitely a factor as our ambitions were a bit high, and we ended up descoping/pivoting a lot during the jam XD. Our renders were in blender and our art "department" of 2 was amazing! We are definitely going to build it out to our original vision and will be managing our expectations during the next Jam a little more realistically :D
I'm glad to see you'll continue working on it post-gamejam, it's a nice little game with personality. That animation in the trailer could do really well as an intro cutscene with just a little recut. But to the game itself, add some particle effects to reignited demons, add more levels, and you've got a something that could go places on your hands! Well done for a first gamejam!
The game looks pretty, shame you were unable to turn it into much of a game in the time. From the video it looks like a lot of work was done that didn't make it into the game. Time is always extremely tight in these jams, it takes a few tries to figure out what works and what doesn't.
it looks like it could have potential but as it stants there not much to do in it, other than that keep it up and looking forward for moere
@ltorrestailfer @someone @noobdude Thanks for the encouragement and feedback! Yeah, our post-mortem is tonight and we're excited to see where we can improve next time with time management and expectations but definitely plan to continue building this idea out to see where we can take it!
I really like the music theme and overall visual style, it is sad that you had no time to finish main gameplay loop.
I think it could be polished even further and finalised as a real game. Nice job:)
