Nice platformer with amazing art. Moderately difficult, which is compensated by well-placed checkpoints. Probably, it should be so. The music is a little annoying, since the melody is too short for a such game, but the sound is generally well chosen. The only thing is a couple of overly difficult moments (especially at the end when you run back) and I will support the comment above that the game required playtests on non-devs, plus the already mentioned slow camera and too much interruption with dialogues at the very beginning. But in general - a great game!

@dock-frankenstein Everything is actually more complicated. Specifically in this sequence, this sample was used in many Eurobeat songs, not only in "Running in the 90s". For example, it can also be heard in Domino's "Tora Tora Tora!". :)

In generally, this sound is from LA Style's "James Brown is Dead" (from where it dispersed to other melodies), where it itself was sampled from an old Electric Light Orchestra melody. It just so happens that I'm a big fan of Eurobeat, Belgian Techno and Hyper Techno at the same time, where this sound was used a lot, so I just decided to bring a little element of them into the melody. The choir sample, by the way, also refers to “James Brown is Dead” and is also a marker for Belgian techno and Hyper Techno, but this is actually a basic preset from the Roland W-30 sampler.

For some mistake unknown to me, the build unfortunately included the Saturday demo of the track, not the final version by almost 4 minutes. =( This will be fixed in the post-jam version + I will also post it separately on services in the next few days.
